Vivienne gave Pope a go ahead to leave the office and Pope nodded, signalling that he was going to give her a call later behind Gavin's back.

As soon as the door was shut, Gavin advanced towards her till he was standing behind her desk. "You seemed to have packed up real quick. I like the spirit. "

Vivienne stared at him with disdain. Gavin looked really pitiful feeling like he now owned to company. Every of his plans now dawned on her. The Santa Monica incident and the insurance papers. Everything had all been a plan to distract her and the general public. She gave him the credit for being so articulate in all he was doing.

All she could feel for him was hate. Deep hate and disdain. It even showed in the way she was glaring daggers at him. She chose to ignore him and continued packing her stuff. As she was about to put in the ledger in her box, Gavin stopped her with the raise of a hand.
