[PAST]

Canis was born in the middle of the night. His father (Neugade Inu) a gray wolf Meígma didn't mind his dog ears or tail, his mother (Sai Inu) a bobcat Meígma was disgraced that her child was first male and second a dog. As Canis grew his father was a loving supportive parent, his mother not so much. She knew that she couldn't harm Canis as long as her husband lived. To allow herself to make sure Canis new he was not welcomed she poisoned her husband and left Canis to be her personal servant. She would claw and hit him with versus items when ever he was late or took to long to do a task. Canis still a young child thought he could fight away his mother by being happy. He never was the talk of the town do to his animal shape. Canis didn't mind he believed he was perfect just the way he was. He never was the brightest of the group, but he still got good grades. None of the teachers suspected anything to be wrong at home because he was always so happy, and hyper due to his ADHD. Once Canis turned sixteen his mother found him kissing his only friend a runaway wolf meígma. Canis was kicked out to the street, bleeding from a dozen new wounds that filled his body. He managed to find an old bridge and made use it as shelter. Canis eventually had to drop out of high school, since his part time jobs were not enough to keep him alive. Canis would go from work to work pushing himself at the young age of sixteen to do long hours. Canis many work places, were stores in a once busy mall, that was eventually shut down do to the retail apocalypse. This left Canis without a job or a purpose. His long lost friend and lover never returned, no matter how many times he went to their meeting place. Canis never had much but treated what he had with great pleasure. He believed happiness through rough times made you better in the easy times. Canis a good natured person never stole or broke the law no matter how desperate he was. Canis learned that to never trust a book by its cover. Due to his very edgy lover, who ran away from home, yet was still very caring and sweet towards him. Canis lived through so much, from his own mother abusing him, and all the "friends" he had that were just pity, to his one lover and father. Canis still knows there is good in this world through, his memories with his father and lover. That wasn't enough to save him from getting selected to be on of the selected for the crowned prince.....
