Let me out!

Soon dusk fell and Hazel was back at the palace, preparing herself for her shift. One of the royal knights had assisted her under the prince's orders and she was now armed, heading to the main wing of the palace to wait for the prince to finish his meal.

"... Just know that you need to follow the prince wherever he goes, and when he goes to sleep, stand outside his chambers," Justin, a royal knight who was kind enough to escort her explained.

Hazel raised an eyebrow quizzically. "I'm supposed to stand outside his chambers all night?" She asked, her tone one of ludicrousness.

"Yes," Justin nodded in affirmation.

Hazel could only roll her eyes with a sigh.

"You don't look nervous," Justin pointed out.

Hazel only turned her head to lock eyes with him. "Am I supposed to be nervous?"
