Thank You for Joining Me: “A Simple Prelude!”

Long, Long ago… 3,500 years or so ago… In Ancient Egypt, there lived a man named Ezrae. He was an Israelite Slave, who was born during the reign of the Pharaoh Seti I. Seti I is the father of King Ramses II, who is most famous for his interactions with the Prophet of Yahweh, Moses.

Moses was more than just a friend to Ezrae - he was his adopted father, his best friend, his brother, and his mentor. The two shared a deep love for The Lord God, as well as for exploring, and telling and swapping stories.

Ezrae's story began in 1300 BCE, and for the first 50 years of his life, he lived and toiled as a slave under the tyranny of "The Keeper of Harmony," the Pharoah, Ramses II.

Despite the harsh conditions, Ezrae found solace in his faith, and in his love for storytelling. He would often set up gatherings for his fellow Israelite slaves to praise Yahweh, and to share fantastical and ancient stories around the fire. His storytelling skills were unrivaled, and he quickly became known as the tribe's most beloved storyteller; so much so that they even started referring to him AS "The Storyteller."

In 1250 BCE, Ezrae's life took a dramatic turn when he escaped Egypt; along with the rest of the Israelites, led by Moses; during The Exodus. He and his people absconded from Egypt, and traveled with Moses for 40 years; wandering the desert in search of "The Promised Land."

Ezrae's faith, blessings, physical might, will, and storytelling skills were put to the test during this time; as he and his fellow Israelites faced numerous challenges, and trials.

But through it all, Ezrae remained steadfast, drawing on his love for Yahweh, and his passion for storytelling, to help keep his people's spirits up.

Finally, in 1210 BCE, Moses and the Israelites reached the Promised Land, which was called "Canaan."

Ezrae spent the next 25 years of his life in this land, continuing to share his stories and his faith with his fellow Israelites.

He remained deeply loyal to Yahweh, and held incredible respect and reverence for his parents; who had passed away when he was still a young man… just before his 13th birthday.

As an adult, Ezrae skin was rough and tanned, as he had already lived through many trials and tribulations.

He was 5'9, with tan skin, red eyes, and white hair, along with a long and crazy white & gray beard. However, despite his grizzled appearance, Ezrae's heart was constantly filled with warmth, loyalty, faith, and compassion.

He continued to share his stories and his faith with all who would listen, drawing on the deep, endless love he had for The Lord God, Yahweh; to help him through even the toughest of times.

Throughout his life, Ezrae proved that storytelling can be a powerful tool for bringing people together, even in the most difficult of circumstances.

His ability to share ancient and fantastical tales, along with his deep love for Yahweh, helped to keep the Israelites' spirits up, during their long journey through the desert.

And even after they reached the Promised Land, Ezrae continued to share his stories and his faith, inspiring generations to come.

In many ways, Ezrae's story is a testimony to the power of storytelling, and faith. Even when faced with unimaginable hardship, Ezrae never lost his love for Yahweh or his passion for sharing stories.

And through his words and his deeds, he inspired countless others to do the same; creating a legacy that would endure for generations to come.
