Fist Boss Fight And The Second Floor

The moment I entered the boss room I saw a huge stone figure in front of me, it was a wolf with snakes wrapping around its body which made him look hideous. "Where is the monster?" I shouted out loud *Thump* I heard a huge thumping sound..."Where did that sound come from?" *THUMP* *THUMP* *THUMP* the sound was getting more and more frequent, I got confused and started looking around me and sending air and light particles to look around, as I saw something in front of me moving, it was the statue the stone layer engulfing the figure started peeling off and his eyes met mine.

Its eyes were bloodshot with the pupil being green in color, I once again reinforced mt protective layers and held the sword in my hand tightly staring at the monster not giving it a chance to take advantage of me I jumped with my small body till the height of the monster's eye as it was still shedding its stone layer, all of this happened within 3 seconds. I was at the same height as its eye as I removed the air barrier around me and I used air to push me towards its eye, with the sword in one hand I pierced it's eye and used fire magic to burn it, but the wolf now was free and moving it's head further from me it let out a painful howl.

"Heh it's too late now you think people won't touch you when you would be standing there like a statue even its for 3 seconds?" I smirked as I said disdainfully. The wolf seemed to understand me as it let out another angry roar and this time the snakes that were wrapping themselves around its body started to move and slowly started unwrapping them from its body. Now there were 100+ snakes and a humongous wolf in front of me. "Now that I think about it, aren't these snakes rank C monster?" I couldn't help but get shocked after seeing so many snakes. "The wolf judging from its size seems to be an A+ Rank monster itself."

Now then...how should I deal with you guys? Can you please let me go peacefully? I just need something from here after collecting the stuff I will peacefully go back." I said as I looked towards the wolf playfully. Awoooo!!! The wolf now was so mad that it directly jumped towards me without even using a skill, just brute force. What an idiot, I scoffed as I moved from the place towards my right. I thought that the wolf will crash but something unexpected happened as the wolf saw me moving away, it changed its direction mid-air and started rushing towards me. "Fuck! It can even do that!!!?" I cursed as I again put the air barrier around me holding my sword in a defensive position ready for the impact, but again the wolf did something unexpected as it stopped mid-air and the snakes that were on the ground started moving all together at the same time towards me.

"After I am done with this I have to ask that old bastard some questions." I gritted my teeth and as I started cast several fireballs towards the army of snakes coming towards me, but the wolf didn't want to give me time as it appeared behind me stopping me from casting the fireball spell.

"I should have practiced silent casting and quick casting more before coming here, now how am I supposed to fight with these things?" That was the first time I was experiencing the importance of fighting sense as before this I have been dependent on my stats to deal with people but this is different. Even if it doesn't have stats equalling mine but still it is pushing me towards the corner."

"Is this why Akagi sensei sent me here?"

"Okay!! Come at me! you bastard let me use you as a dubby to hone my skills and battle sense!!" I let out a war cry as I rushed towards the wolf at full speed with my sword in one hand and a dagger in another.

The wolf also sped up seeing my frontal assault and as we were nearing each other, it opened its mouth wide and some green spray like thing started coming out of its mouth.

Shit! is that poison gas? Even if the poison won't work on me but still the smoke itself will hinder my movements by blocking my eyesight and I cannot even take my air barrier back to cast a tornado spell to remove the poison because I am not fast enough and without the air barrier I will become prone to air type poison.

I was now really understanding the importance of fast and silent casting more and more, that's why these dungeons/labyrinths are for groups and not for a single person because it's impossible for a single person to fight these kinds of beasts.

"Its do or die, either I learn now or I have to escape this place without completing the quest master gave me." I thought as I started concentrating on my mana flow and core while dodging the advance of the wolf. "Good thing my stats are higher than his otherwise..."

I am currently using 2 spells at the same time so if I cast another spell would I have to focus my attention on 3 different kinds of spell? That would be very taxing for my brain... ... Oh yeah! I can use the barriers as a passive spell while I am fighting and then I would be able to use another 2 types of spell which means I can then use 4 kinds of spell at the same time. Well it's not technically feasible to use spells passively only barriers and some other body strengthening can be used like this but my limit of casting is still at 2 spells, I have to work on that in the future, now then...I grinned as I again saw the wolf in front of me which for some reason didn't look that ferocious now.

Holy Shit! 5 passive type skills!! {Um If You Have A Massive Mana Pool Like Our Haruto Then You Can obviously Use Magic Skills Like Barriers Passively For Some Time} "I can now cast my barriers along with body strengthening and pain nullification at the same time!!"

I gathered my concentration back again as on one hand, I started casting wind magic in one hand and fire spell on the other. I once again jumped but now because of body strengthening, I was able to jump way higher and raised my hand making a huge fireball and threw it towards the snake army and used wind magic "Tornado" to direct the fire and remove the poison gas. The wolf was staring at the scene with fear he felt after the seemingly small pest in front of him suddenly became huge like a mountain.

"Now it's your turn!" I shouted as I used fire magic again but this time limiting the other elements in the air other than oxygen to make a pure blue flame with the use of air magic that looked calm but was surprisingly hot. "Thank God I was good at science" I couldn't help but think out loud.

I once again moved towards the wolf this time faster with the help of wind magic with the blue flame in one hand, "Die" I said in a cold voice as I punched the wolf with the blue flame.

"Awooo!! the wolf was screaming and howling but none of that was going to help it as the blue flame only grew bigger and engulfed its huge body burning the wolf down to its core. "What a shame I could have used its sturdy to make better armor than this one..."

I looked around to see if anything else was left in the room as suddenly my eyes landed on a black sword and a glass bottle, is this the monster drop? I collected the stuff since I thought I will look at them later after moving to the second floor. I opened the gate to second floor to see the floor, no! it wasn't a floor but a biome inside which had Sun and everything, I was seeing dry and rocky plains in front of me and a huge mountain at far in the horizon.

"Finally second floor!!" I cheered as I started walking forward.
