Chapter Four: The Treehouse

He flies up to the center of the island where a big palm tree stands alone. I follow shortly after him. On top of the tree are really big, green leaves and an open space. In the middle of the open space was a hole. It's very dark and seems to go all the way to the ground! Peter Pan flies down and I hear a "ch" sound. The room inside lights up and I can see a few things; like some leaves that might be a bed and a shelf or two with trinkets on them. At my feet, I see a ladder that ends at the floor of the room. I turn around and climb down the ladder. I hop down and off the ladder and look around. I was right about the leaves! It is a bed! Peter plops down on it and breathes out a relaxing sigh. "Oh! Right!" He says, hopping out of his bed. "This," Peter says as he picks up a trinket from kn of the many shelves, "is one of the things I found on the beach!" Peter holds up something small and metal on his pinky. "A thimble? I ask him. "Thimble?" He looks at it confused. "Tink called it a 'kiss'...?" Tink blushes and I laugh. "It's used for sewing. My mother makes quilts w-" I was interrupted by a sudden an unfamiliar jingle. A fairy in a blue dress flew in fast. She stopped in front of Tinker Bell and Peter Pan. I hear the new fairy jingle some more and Peter Pan says, "Yeah, we know! He's right there." Peter points to me and the fairy turns to me. She's small, for a fairy, with grayish - black hair and brown eyes. Her hair was short, barely touching her shoulders. She has a mid - length dress. I gave her a little wave and she bows. She started ringing like a bell and moving her hands everywhere very fast. I gave her a blank expression. She looked at Tink, looked at Peter. He gave her a nod and both of the fairies threw dust at my forehead. The jingling faded away. "... and how do we know if it worked?" The new fairy said. I gasped. I looked at her with wonder and she said, "I guess that's how!" She chuckled and gave me a smile. "Hi there! I'm Maggie! Maggie Mist."
