C 49. Aftermath

It was weird, totally out of anything I was expecting, Dr. Sam asked if I can fight Amina but I did not see her anywhere.

But thirty minutes later strands of black hair started coming out of the subject that was strapped on the vertical bed.

The more hair came out, the more darkness spanned the room until all light of the room was almost extinguished.

It was then one of the guard's body started to light and then its skin glowed with a light that illuminated the room.

A silhouette of a young petite girl appeared levitating beside the head of the subject.

The girl directs an angry gaze towards the guard that emits light, but through her eyes, you can see she is still dazed as if her mind was somewhere.

The hair kept slipping out of his ears but it was then that the subject himself started to twitch with intensity.

The hands of the subject jacked forward wanting to break out of the belts, his whole body began to shake, muffle a groan escaping from its mouth.

Dr Khan moves forward but one of the guards stops him. 

When there was only a single strand of hair coming out of the subject ear, the subject movement increased with great strength as if it could rip the strapped belt off.

The last strand of hair is delayed and then it's out very fast. The girl materialised and became a solid human but etched on her face was horror.

She looked pale and her body trembled, her fist clenched, but gradually her face turned to crazy excitement.

But the subject began to roar and cry a heart-wrenching scream that makes one's spine crawl with numbness.

Even I did not become immune to it, as what was echoed out of the subject vocal cord was permeating with complex emotions.

Dr Sam leaned towards me and said, "Observe every detail and it will help you in the future."

With every passing second, the subject's erratic movements increased and his scream continued.

Dr Khan was seething with anger, though his attention is on the subject but from time to time he glances towards the girl floating two meters away from the subject.

Her attention was engrossed in the subject with excitement. I don't know what is happening but the abnormal behaviour of the subject has to do with her.

Suddenly, something changes. The subject is no longer screaming like he was in pain but now it was a roar of anger and hatred.

His muscles bulged with strength as the strapped belts began to lose, but they squeezed him.

I saw it, something came out of his body like a formless force shimmering the air around him.

His aggressiveness increased, now like a free wolf constricted in place, and slowly through madness, he broke his hand free.

But the belt wrapped his hand back fast, but that broke the back of the camel!

His body shook and exuded intimidation that the forefront soldiers took two steps back.

Even the mischievous little devil floated ten meters away from him. 

With great strength, he freed his legs and before the belt wrapped his leg again, his entire body leaned forward with a great roar!!!

Both his hands broke free and they directly went to his eyes that were covered, ripping it off.

Every single one of us shook to the core, the Fat doctor, and three soldiers kneel, the rest of us, our legs trembling as we gaze at his eyes.

They seem capable of penetrating through space to see our soul, emotions, thought, ànd even fate. 

It's as if all-out secrets lay bare for him to gaze.

I am the only person who seems not trembling in an outward manner but inside me a turmoil of emotion that I can't understand stirred.

Instead of the excitement of competition, I used to feel when faced with a challenge like this, I felt naked before those great Eyes.

They are unfocused, the stare is not directed at us, and it was just gazing at everywhere, everything, encompassing all.

All doctors were behind me now, becoming the second line of defence after the armoured soldiers.

"Hahaha!" I chuckled and a wry smile decorated my face wondering when did these old foxes move behind me!

It doesn't feel like they are afraid of getting attacked but rather they are hiding their dirty secrets behind my tiny secrets.

"Cowards!" I muttered knowing well they heard me.

Still, I do my job of protection as I stimulate my temperature to be high and also increase my strength as if going to a fight. 

In an instant, his eyes almost focused on me and the feeling of being naked before the eyes increased.

But then his head jerked up toward the ceiling. At the same moment, the little devil with her black hair slipped through the ceiling and a black shadow was cast where she entered!

Is she escaping?

Stimulated by seeing her, with anger he roared and freed all his body, falling on the floor due to that. 

With a swift move, he grabbed the bed with one hand and threw it at the shadow followed by another angry roar!

Without a doubt, he carries a great animosity toward the girl.

Unfortunately, white handcuffs flowed out of the right wall and cuffed his right hand while he was roaring at the ceiling.

From behind me, I can hear one of the doctors saying, "No don't…"

But the cuffs are fast as they drag the subject towards the right wall to bind him there. 

As if a brawl challenge as he was dragged by his left-hand makes a fist, punching the wall.

To my and everyone's shock, it caves in with cracks, his right yank back and broke the cuff's chain and punched the wall.

This amount of strength can only be attributed to Enhancers, and he displayed their level of strength?

Though compared to me, he is as weak as a chicken, yet I have seen those pride themselves with enhancement with only this kind of strength.
