"Have you satisfied Mr. James to suspect Nick?" Grace finally spoke up. James looked silent, as if she had lost face in front of Grace. even when she was about to pick up the berries that were on the table beside her, Grace immediately took the fruit and hugged her tightly. How could it not be, for Grace, James did not deserve to eat the fruits she planted. For the fruit he planted was for good and honest people. Not for people like James, bad guys who just want proof without having to think about it.
"I'm sorry, Mrs. Hester. I didn't mean to offend you or offend the Kyle family, it's just that."
"I have a feeling that you have a personal grudge against Nick, is what I'm guessing true?"
James looked flabbergasted that what Grace said was really straight to the point, and even that managed to make James not move at all.
