Bright Red Eyes

One of the boys surrounding the girl was about to kick her when Melrose stood in front of the girl who was only six years old. But what Melrose didn't know was the young boys were ignorant and didn't bother noticing she was dressed as someone from the upper class. They bullied her too and just when she was about to get hit, a boy of ten appeared from nowhere and stopped the others. He had brown hair which was longer than the usual, which complimented his bright brown eyes that were honey-like.

The sky had turned darker because it was five in the afternoon. The other two boys left knowing that the boy who appeared was the adopted son of the village's magistrate. The little girl also took the chance to run.
