While Cliff, a 27 year old young man, was visiting his grandparents, he was caught in what is called a "summoning" which took him to a forest infested with unknown creatures, he decided that in order to survive, he should be ready to brave all the dangers that would present to him, with his “drain” skill he would fight them to become stronger
Journey to the Mountain
Yadha had been sent by her superiors to search for Kido, but that was not the primary objective of her mission. She had been dispatched to the mountain peoples for commercial reasons. With her three companions, they had braved the route quickly, navigating the dense forests and treacherous terrains with the skill and agility of seasoned warriors. Even though they had encountered a few monsters along the way, these creatures were not beyond their capabilities.
The team moved at a remarkable pace, their demi-human heritage giving them an edge in speed and endurance. They walked tirelessly, stopping only to take quick rations which they avidly consumed before resuming their journey. Their stamina and resilience allowed them to cover over fifty kilometers in just five hours, a feat unimaginable for ordinary humans.
