The reason

"Start feeling bad for yourself. Because there is no way you are going to live your life peacefully. You are going to get in jail."

The little girl said, squeezing her eyes at Xiao Muchen and he looked at the girl in shock.

"What did you say, little girl? You…You are threatening me? How old are you? And what if your father is a judge in some high court, do you think I will get scared of him? I will make sure he will…"

Xiao Muchen started to warn the girl but before he could start to threaten her, Wang Yue turned around in her seat and the terror in her eyes spoke thousands of words to him.

"You can't just threaten her, Xiao Muchen. She is so small."

"Yaa, tell her about it. She is supposed to behave at her age. If you say she is small then isn't she supposed to sit back with her mother?"

He asked whispering a voice and Wang Yue opened her mouth in awe.

"For a second I was confused about who is big here. Xiao Muchen, grow up."

"Grow up…? I grow up? Don't you think you should tell her that?"

"Shhh…Xiao Muchen, don't behave like a kid. She is just trying to scare you for me."

She whispered looking at him and he felt something wrong with himself. He glanced back at the little girl but before he tried to formulate words in his mind the little girl beat him to it.

"Have you just threatened Jiejie again? And you are threatening me too, Mr Bad Uncle?"

She put both hands on her waist and stood with angry expressions on her face.

"You know, I know very well how to deal with your kind of…"

"Xiao Muchen, why don't you just think in her shoes? She is just an innocent kid…"

"Innocent…? The innocent kids these days threaten people by her father's name?"

Xiao Muchen asked, getting angry over the fact that he was getting good when he wasn't at fault at all or was he fit not letting Wang Yue come with him to China.

"You are too much…"

Wang Yue said and turned to look at the small girl when she again heard Xiao Muchen.

"I…I am too much…?"

"Yes, you are too much, Bad Uncle."

The girl said in a threatening voice but before he could react to anything, the little girl's mother came to them and bowed in apology.

"I am sorry, Mr Xiao. Please, forgive my daughter Ai Ai. This is the very first time we are going to China and at the same time, this is the first time that we are travelling without my husband. This is Ai Ai's first journey and she got scared."

"That's perfectly all right. What's your name dear?"

"Oh, I am sorry. I am Mrs Smith. Wife of Judge Carl Smith. We live in New York. I am from Beijing."

Wang Yue stretched her hand to shake with her and before Mrs Smith could shake her hand, little Ai took it in her hand.

"And I am little Ai Ai. I like you so much, Jiejie. But I hate this Bad Uncle."

Xiao Muchen's eyes got wide open and he turned to Ai Ai in shock, she was looking at him with dark eyes. But then Mrs Smith held her near her chest and started to take her to their seats.

"I am sorry. I should just take her back to her seat. I will speak with you after finishing our journey."

"Mrs Smith. I can understand this very well. Even my first air journey was not that great. Take care of her."

A bright smile appeared on Wang Yue's lips that made Mrs Smith comfortable with her and Xiao Muchen too. She smiled back at the duo and bowed again to them.

"Thank you so much for solving my problem, Mrs…?"

Mrs Smith asked and now this was Wang Yue's turn to open her eyes wide in shock. They both shook their heads while moving their hands in rejecting it completely.

"We are not husband and wife."

Xiao Muchen cleared the confusion but for Wang Yue that hurt too much. She peered up at him promptly but his whole attention was on the lady who was still studying the expression of Wang Yue.

"Only if you would have known, my love. I miss getting called Mrs Xiao."

A lone tear formed in Wang Yue's eyes but she hid it carefully from Xiao Muchen.

"Oh, but you both are giving me whole vibes of husband and wife. You just understood what she did for my daughter. I... I misunderstood. I am sorry for the confusion. I will be going now."

"I am also going but keep in mind Mister I am watching over you. As soon as we land in China, you are going to jail."

When little Ai Ai spoke again, her mother just took her in her embrace and got back on her seat without saying a single word. When they all settled down on their seats and soon night approached them Xiao Muchen leaned back and looked to disturb Wang Yue.

"You haven't eaten anything for dinner. You have this, otherwise, you won't be able to sleep well at night."

He said and took out the chocolate that he got from the air hostess for Wang Yue. he opened the packet and handed the chocolate to her.

"I know there is something that you are hiding from me. If you truly want my help then you have to tell me the truth."

Wang Yue's chocolate fell from her hand but it got saved before it could touch the floor by Xiao Muchen.

"You don't need to be afraid of me, Wang Yue. I am not going to kill you for it. I know you want to go to China desperately. Will you care to explain to me why?"

"But… you… you will never let me come with you if you know the reason why? Just please let me come with you."

Wang Yue pleaded with so much emotion in her eyes that she felt the need to let them go out of her eyes.

"No, I can't. I have my principles, Wang Yue and if you think I will let go of my principles for you then you are mistaken. I have already told you, that I have not accepted you as my assistant. You have to tell me the real reason or go back home."

"No, I don't want to go back. I want to come with you, Xiao Muchen."

"Only if you tell me the truth."
