Making a bow to fight.

The girls heard the people screaming in pain but they couldn't do anything.

Sarah was tired and watched how the remaining girls were trying to prepare. They've all concluded to go and rescue some girls.

They've lost the guys and some other girls.

"Jenna, give me that knife." Mera shouted as she was making a rope.

In a normal situation, she wouldn't have answered her but she realized they needed each other right now.

Sarah wanted to tell them what they were doing won't work but she couldn't do anything. She's useless enough.

Mera tied the rope at the bottom of the knife. She stood up and praised herself on what she's done. She threw the rope at the door and she realized that all her efforts were futile.

"The fuck!" She cursed and placed her hand on her forehead and watched helplessly how the knife fell to the floor and also the rope did nothing at all.

"I wanted to say this all this while but I couldn't." Sarah said slowly.

"Then why did you keep mute?" Jenna screamed at her while she only rolled her eyes.

"Calm down." Mera said calmly.

"So..?" Lyra asked.

"I...Why don't we use arrow and bow?" She said.

"What?" Jenna asked unbelievably.

"How do we do that when there is no arrow or bow?" Lyra asked raised her brow.

"We only need sticks, rope and knife. And we have them all here. All we have to do is to just sharpen one of the sticks with a knife and tied the rope around the second stick." Sarah said.

"Have you done it before?" Mera asked.

"No."

"Huh! And you are saying it as if it's possible." Jenna scoffed.

"How did you know about this?" Mera asked.

"Of course I read a book." Sarah said.

They all lost interest in what she was about to say.

"No need." Lyra rolled her eyes.

"I'm very sure it's going to work." She said.

Mera stared at her face, searching for something, maybe sincerity or confirmation. After some minutes that seems she's seen it, she nodded her head and smiled.

"Let's do it." Mera said.

Jenna glared at her and hissed.

"Who are you to think that your word is the final?" Jenna said.

Mera didn't say anything and looked at Lyra waiting for her opinion. Lyra looked at her and looked down to the floor, not saying anything.

Mera took her silence as yes and faced Jenna.

"Have you heard of the word that, 'majority carry the vote'? If you don't agree then get out of here." Mera said.

"Who are you to tell me that?" Jenna said walking closer to Mera trying to fight her. She was about to summoned her power when her wrist was held firmly. She turned at the person and hissed when she discovered it was Sarah. "How dare you holding my wrist that way. What insolence!" She said and tried to grab her wrist out of her hold, but was surprised when she noticed that the latter's hold was very strong.

"Don't you try and use your power here, it will draw in Monsters." Sarah said and immediately they heard a growl.

Jenna looked around, jerked her hand from her and angrily walked to a corner to sit.

"You guys can do whatever you want to do. But don't you dare try and implicate me." She said to them.

Mera signalled to Sarah to start and she obeyed.

She picked the knife and peeled one of the sticks with knife and tied a rope on the top and bottom of the stick. She saw some nails and hammered it to the top and bottom of the stick with the rope.

She drew the stick to see if it's going to cut.

Jenna was curiously looking at her with the corner of her eyes to see if it's going to work.

Sarah picked another stick and sharpened the tip of it. She wanted to confirm if it's capable of hurting someone so she stabbed her palm with the sharpen stick.

All of them were surprised at what she was doing.

Mera saw a blood rushing from her palm and she teared out from her clothe and tied it on her palm.

"Why would you do that?" She asked.

"I wanted to confirm if it's going to work." She said and continued to sharpen the remaining sticks.

Jenna, from where she was sitting was surprised on how she did it.

Sarah picked one of the arrow she made and took the bow. She drew it and shoot the arrow which hit the wall once.

"Wow!" Jenna said without knowing it and stood up. She went to the walk that the arrow hit and tried to remove the arrow, but it was so hard to remove, but she eventually did.

"It's amazing!" Lyra said jumping up happily.

When Jenna realised what she did, she tried to form anger again.

Mera smiled too and patted Sarah on her shoulder..

"Where did you learn? I mean how to shoot an arrow?" Mera asked.

"From Sebastian." Sarah said with a smile.

Lyra curiosity peaked when she heard about Sebastian.

"He's really good at so many things." Lyra said dreamily.

"Yes he is." Sarah confirmed and Mera only rolled her eyes

"So... Are we ready to go?" Mera asked trying to shift the conversation.

"Yes." Lyra said happily.

Jenna rolled her eyes but didn't say anything and followed when they started to walk out of their hide. Mera packed small of the arrows, while she lyra also packed few. Jenna too packed the remaining one.

Mera led while Lyra followed. Sarah walked out after too, while Jenna reluctantly walked after them.

They began to walk slowly and silently, not to alert the demons.

They heard some screams and fighting sounds. They walked closer to where the fight was taking place and they saw the KINGS and the demon fighting.

"What is happening? My nephew is among them." She said and tried to collect the bow from Sarah.

"Can you?" Sarah asked.

She only shook her head.

Sarah drew the bow, targeted the Demon's head.

"We've never tried this on a demon. Are you sure it's gonna work?" Jenna panicked.

"Let's trust her." Lyra said.

Sarah didn't say anything and began to target the demon's head. She finally shot the demon's head, who fell immediately and turned to ashes.

"I told you is going to work." Lyra said excitedly.

"Wow! You are very brilliant Sarah." Jenna said before she knew. When she realized the mistake she has done today again, she turned her back at her and walked towards her nephew.
