"Are you ashamed of your body, Celia?" he finally asked.
"Well, no. I suppose I'm not." It was the truth, she wasn't exactly embarrassed about it. She was just always uncomfortable when she was naked under Tobin's gaze.
She didn't think being bare before Lucas was going to be particularly comfortable either. Especially when he stood there looking at her with eyes that burned.
"Then go ahead and change your gown. I'll wait. It's not like you have to take off all your clothes for that, is it?" he gave her a slow grin. "Unless you want to, of course."
Celia scowled at him through her lashes. "Fine. If it doesn't trouble you, then it doesn't trouble me." Crossing the room, she threw open the lid of the first clothing chest she reached and pulled out the gown folded neatly on top.
If he's going to act completely flippant about all this, then so am I, Celia vowed to herself.
