Beginning Tech Chapter 4

#AIDEN KENT POV#

#1 MONTH LATER#

Looking at myself in the mirror, I see the differences in my appearance

My light brown hair is becoming darker and my dark brown eyes are turning lighter

Looking down at my body I can see that I am beginning to lose excess fat around my body

I wasn't exactly fit in fact I was slightly overweight due to me not really having all that much time to spend in the gym and eating a lot of fast food

I can tell that I am not getting all of my powers at once

Perhaps the transition from a human to a Kryptonian is not yet finished as I am nowhere near as strong or as fast as I was before

Then again I did have my powers ever since I was a baby, and I did take in solar energy for years and I did go above the atmosphere once I learned to fly as it was relaxing to be in the vacuum and not hear peoples voices just silence

Looking at my computer which is pretty advanced for 2008

I have been looking into the stuff that I need to make the Molecular Assembly Machine and I am confident that I can make it before the end of this year, but I can't cut any corners

The only issue would be the power source to get it started afterward, I can just give it rocks to convert into energy

I need the starter energy

I could possibly get an Arc Reactor if push comes to shove

If not, I can possibly recreate some of the solar panel technology from my memories as the Orphan

The Orphan

I was not even given a damn name as they used me as a circus animal

My eyes turn red-orange as I feel rage at that, just because I didn't get the feelings associated with the memories does not mean that I can't remember how I used to feel and my new feelings sprang forth with my new body

Calming down, I stopped focusing on that and think some more about my current situation

I can possibly take advantage of the stock market as it goes up but that method is far too risky as I can lose a lot of money in the process

I could get the raw materials myself but I would have to process them and work my way up, I can make the tools this way

Looking around at my apartment I realize something

I can't make it here obviously

I need to find someplace to create it

Frowning I think about several issues that my very existence will bring about

I am pretty sure that some beings are already aware of my existence

It is not impossible that they can see the future as I am sure they must already know what I am

They will see me as a threat

A big one

Sighing I remember some of the feats some of my Kal-El counterparts have done

Holding a black hole in their hand, surviving supernovas, beating gods regularly, and even defeating a multiversal/creator-level being in a single punch, on top of that surviving what is the equivalent of a Big Bag, oh and also apparently outliving death itself or I guess herself

Oh yeah, I am pretty sure that my existence will be known

I look at my hands and let out a shuddering breath that freezes the mirror in front of me and I roll my eyes

The sun feels different here

Far too different than it did before

Whenever I am in direct contact with it, I can feel the differences

Back in my DC-Earth, it always felt comforting, but here it is like I am being hugged by a loved one

Not only that it feels different as if there was something else aside from solar energy entering my body but I don't know what it is

Sighing lightly I close and open my eyes as they glow an orange-red and help melt the ice away I just heat up the area around a bit before I stop and go to my computer which I have taken apart and have been modifying for the past week or so as I looked for different stuff that I can use to make it better

I got far too used to my Kryptonian tech that I took for granted and I now miss it more than ever

I have knowledge of how to recreate some of it but not a lot, so I am going to have to make do with what I have at the moment

I start to make the alterations to my computer and after around half an hour I finally have it done

I turn it on and begin to make some basic programs

For me at least, some of the programs that I am making at the moment would take months for a person to replicate if and that is when they know all of the codes necessary to make the programs

For me, it takes around 10 minutes as I often go back and make sure that I am doing everything right

To make my Molecular Assembly Machine, I need resources that would otherwise be far to expensive to obtain, especially since I am replacing the Kryptonian materials and making it from pure Earthly materials then once I get it up and running I will a new one that is made from Kryptonian materials

But, I can't build something so complex on my own, well I could but the machine would have to be huge in order for me to make it on my own

However, I am planning on making a building drone which is something that will quite possibly take all of my money to make it

This is why I am writing the program right now as I wait for some of the much easier to get materials to arrive which shouldn't take too long

Sighing as I finish the program and going through it numerous times to make sure I made it correctly

I think about ways to get some more money

Can't exactly make a business as that will take me weeks to plan due to my speed and it would probably take me around 2 or 4 years before it actually made some profits

Frowning I can possibly create a program that will take money from off-shore accounts essentially illegal accounts and place them on one of my own to use on whatever I want

Third, I can wait a few days until I am fast enough to avoid detection by cameras and go to where some criminals are and take their money

A thought pops into my head

Does Ulysses Klaue have Vibranium? If so can I use the Molecular Assembly Machine to make more Vibranium?

#TIMESKIP 2 MONTHS LATER#

"Finally," I say in joy as I finished the first Builder drone

I went with option 3 in getting some more money and I recently began to try and implement option 2, hack into illegal accounts and use that money for my own purposes

I look at the builder drone and take it in that it is a lot bigger than I wanted it to be but I had to make it like that as I am really limited in what I can make

I plug in a cable to my self-made laptop and install the programs necessary for the builder drone

I look around the area that I am currently in

I moved around 3 weeks ago from my apartment to the middle of nowhere of a desert, although there is a town a couple of miles away with only around 6 thousand people

First of all, I have privacy from the world, at least people won't be asking too many questions about what I am doing over here

I glance at the time left for the builder drone to be ready and see that it will be finished in a about 5 minutes

The builder drone will be making an underground base for me to have my Molecular Assembly Machine and I already have a power source to get it started

I made a rather impressive solar panel with an equally impressive battery to store the energy in

I made sure to make another for my builder drone

I need the starter energy to jumpstart the machine then I can just dump some dirt and stone in it to power it

Sighing I watch as the builder drone rises up and begins to make my base

#TIMESKIP 1 MONTH LATER#

"Well that took longer than expected," I say as I walk around the dirt path made by my builder drone and watch as it finishes making the Molecular Assembly Machine

A rather crude one but it will be fine for now

I go over to it and begin to put in it as much dirt and rocks as I can

Turning it on, the dirt and stone quickly disappear as it starts to make the Kryptonian materials that I need and I quickly put in more dirt and stone inside as it also needs it to power itself

I must have put in around 6 tons of dirt and rocks in total as I finally get the Kryptonian materials that I need to make a much better computer only about 4 tons worth of them as some of the matter was used to power it and a new builder drone and a much better Molecular Assembly Machine as I can clearly tell the differences between this one and the one I used to make it

Soon it turns off as it runs out of energy as I stop putting things in it and quickly my builder drone to get started on making a new builder drone to replace it with

It gathers the materials necessary and it gets started

I let out a small laugh as I watch the familiar metals being shaped...

#2 WEEKS LATER#

"Finally," I say as I watch my Molecular Assembly Machine produce Kryptonian Materials far better than the previous version

Glancing at the builder drones begin to improve my underground base

I had 1 made by the first builder drone which the newer one then made a much better one and I stopped there as I want to get started as soon as possible

I go over to my new shiny computer and begin to look at my program to get money from illegal accounts and I lower the speed at which it does as I already have over 20 million dollars in total

Sighing I lean back on my chair as I think about what to make next

I could make myself a ship and leave Earth but so many events can happen here that affect the universe that I know one way or the other I will be dragged into

I am going to recreate various Kryptonian technologies before I make my any other moves

Looking down at my clothes, I realize that it may be time to try to recreate some of the Kryptonian clothes that I used to have as they were far more comfortable and much more resistant to anything that I have avilable

While I am at it I may recreate some Kryptonian armors too...
