Seven New Students

Lounging around in her room at the Kawakami Temple, Huang Luan is watching a news station on a TV that she pulled out from her pocket. Despite the television not being physically connected to anything, it still works as it normally would.

"The Bushido Plan has been shaking the whole world this morning. But what exactly is the Bushido Plan, Tera-chan?" Asks the announcer.

"Fu. At dawn today, Kuki Corp, the world's largest corporation, announced… That they reincarnated heroes from the past such as Minamoto Yoshitsune, Musashibo Benkei, and Nasuno Yoichi," Says Ryuuzouji the co-host of the program and the member of the Ten Warriors of the West that got eaten the night before.

"Currently we have the Prime Minister is on the line. Prime Minister, sorry to take your time, but what do they mean by 'reincarnating'?" Asks the announcer.

"They mean cloning. The Kuki Corporation successfully cloned humans 20 years ago," says the Prime Minister from over the phone.

"I've seen movies and manga where clones appear, but I never expected it to happen in reality. I'm amazed they were able to get their hands on the DNA of heroes," says the announcer.

"But the Kuki Corporation claims that they are only reincarnating past heroes. They don't plan to clone normal humans. This is going to shake the world's religious and scientific establishments. Allow me to excuse myself. I'm going to be busy with this from now on," the Prime Minister says.

Before the Prime Minister hangs up, Ryuuzouji says, "Thank you for your time, Prime Minister."

"Yoshitsune and the others will transfer into Kawakami Academy in Kawakami City today. Many descendants of warriors are enrolled there, so I'm sure they'll be happy," says the announcer.

"Ugh, my lower body starts hurting when I hear the word 'Kawakami'."

"What? Tera-chan… did you cheat on me again!?"

"Bwah… we're live on air right now, Yuki!"

"A-ahem!"

"A-anyway, that city is as strange as they are, so they'll fit in right away."

"... Everyone's paying attention to Kuki Corporation's stock."

As the subject changes to focus more on business and economics, Huang Luan turns the TV off and tosses it back into her pocket.

'I'm pretty sure Moyomoyo and Kazuko already left. Should I head out as well… Nah, I still got time,' Huang Luan thinks as she goes back to sleep.

In the front sports field of Kawakami Academy, the whole school was gathered for an assembly. Standing on the stage is Kawakami Tesshin, the Principal of Kawakami Academy.

"You should know of the Bushido Plan from all the commotion this morning. We'll have seven new students in Kawakami Academy."

With the Principal's announcement, everyone starts chatting.

At the same time, Huang Luan steps onto the roof of the school.

"Phew, safe… I'm not late."

"Who're you! An assassin from the Organisation!? No, you're too small… but that's just what they want me to think to let my guard down. I've seen through you, child assassin!"

Turning her gaze to the side, Huang Luan sees a young man with short grey hair and a slim yet well-trained body. Evident from his uniform, it's clear that he's a student here.

"The hell are you talking about, can't you clearly see I'm a student?" Huang Luan says, lighting a cigarette.

"Hmph, if you're a student, then where's your uniform? And aren't you too young to be smoking?" the student says, suspicious of the little girl wearing an oversized white blouse and black cargo pants.

Releasing a puff of smoke, Huang Luan says, "You should be what 16 or 17, I guarantee you that I'm older. And as long I give a big enough donation to the school, the uniform isn't a problem. Take a look at the school grounds and you'll see a few other students not wearing the school uniform. Anyways, names Huang Luan. A pleasure, Nasuno Yoichi-san."

Taking a step back, Yoichi narrows his eyes, "I knew it, you were sent by the Organisation! Otherwise, how could you have known my name!?"

Unwilling to keep arguing, Huang Luan just accepts her new identity as a member of the Organisation in Yoichi's head and moves on. Moving up to the fence, Huang Luan ignores Yoichi's various provocations as she watches what's going on down below.

"As you may have known from the news this morning, the clones from the Bushido Plan will be our new students. The main thing is that we'll have new students at the school. Be friendly to them. They'll be great sparring opponents. They're heroes, after all," Tesshin says.

Continuing, Tesshin says, "There are four from the actual Bushido Plan. Two of them are only related to it. And the final transfer student is unrelated to the Bushido Plan. Let's start with the third year. One of them will be going into 3-S."

Amongst the students, Kawakami Momoyo can be seen with clear dissatisfaction on her face since the new student won't be in her class.

"Now then, Hazakura Seiso, introduce yourself."

A girl steps forward as Tesshin calls her up. She slowly walks toward the stage with grace in her every step, her name fitting perfectly with her movements. Seeing the beautiful girl with long brown hair that pasts her waist, step forward, the males in the audience utter a combined "Oohhhhhh~"

"Hello, nice to meet all of you. My name is Hazakura Seiso. I've been waiting to meet all of you. I'm pleased to make your acquaintance."

Giving a small bow, the boys instantly start cheering.

"Damn, just like her name says, she's really pure!"

"She's a literature girl! That's nice!

"Amazing! If I make merchandise of her for the gathering, it would be on the SR level."

Standing out from the others, Momoyo says, "Aww, come on! She's cute, but she's going to S-Class… come to F~"

Off to the side the homeroom teacher for 2-S, Usami Kyojin says, "Oh man, everyone's so excited… there's no helping it."

Next to him, Lu Yi, the PE teacher and assistant master in Kawakami Temple shouts, "Okay, I understand how you guys feel, but quiet down!"

"P-Principal! I have a question!!" Yells Fukumoto Ikurou, a monkey looking student.

With one eye half-open, Tesshin says, "You have some guts to ask a question in front of the whole school. Go ahead."

The question on many people's minds is who she's a clone of, yet Ikurou sports a wide perverted smile and asks, "I would like to know her three sizes and if she has a boyfriend or not!"

Not even a second later, the homeroom teacher for 2-F, Kojima Umeko, interrupts, "What are you asking in front of everyone, you idiot!? Everyone, I'm sorry about my student," and then proceeds to whip Ikurou.

"Aaauuuu! Ahn!" But rather than pain, he releases a loud moan of pleasure.

"You idiot…! Well, I'm also curious about her three sizes too…" Tesshin says with a small chuckle.

"Eh?" Seiso says in surprise to the question.

From the crowd, Momoyo yells out, "Hey Gramps, burn in hell!"

"Ahem," bringing back everyone attention to her, Seiso says, "I'll leave it up to your imagination."

"Sooooo!~Cuteee~!" Momoyo shouts.

Please get serious, Principal," Lu says.

"Oh, yeah, Sorry, sorry. I was distracted. I'm sure that none of you heard of a hero name Hazakura Seiso before," Tesshin says before Seiso continues.

"I'll explain this. Unlike the other three, they haven't told me who I'm a clone of. Hazakura Seiso is a name they gave me because of my image. They said that they'll tell me when I'm around 25, and that I should concentrate on my academic work until then. My hobby is reading, so… I'm hoping that I'm someone like Sei Shonagon."

The students calm down a bit compared to before, but many are still talking amongst themselves about Seiso.

"Everyone is cheery now. Good. Now I'll introduce the three who are entering the second year. All of them will enrol into 2-S. First is Minamoto Yoshitsune and Musashibo Benkei. They're both girls," Tesshin says.

Hearing this some of the male students are surprised to hear that Benkei is female.

"Geh, a female Benkei, seriously?" says, Shimazu Gakuto, a tall and muscular male student.

"I wonder if her body type is like mine," says, Kumagai Mitsuru, a large-bodied male student.

"Who even wants that? No thank you," Ikurou says.

"Both of you, introduce yourselves," Tesshin says, calling the two of them onto the stage.

Stepping forward first is Yoshitsune, the girl who Huang Luan and several others met the previous night. And following her is a pale-skinned girl with wavy black or dark ash hair that goes past her waist. She carries a staff with her, as well as having a sake gourd tied around her left arm.

"Hello. For what it's worth, I'm Benkei. Nice to meet you."

Instantly after her introduction, the reaction from the male students is intense.

"PLEASE MARRY ME!!!!" Gakuto shouts.

"I was in love with you ever since I read about how you died!" Ikurou yells.

Hearing the shouts of her classmates, Ogasawara Chika, says, "You guys are the biggest idiots in the world."

Standing next to her, her classmate, Haguro, says, "But you know… after seeing Seiso, I feel really dirty… And after her, it's a sexy girl. I want to die."

"I know what you mean, I'm starting to lose confidence," Chika says.

Back on the stage, Yoshitsune coughs into the microphone.

"Yoshitsune-chan, calm down. You're doing fine," Seiso says.

"Mm-hmm. Yoshitsune can do it if she tries," Benkei says, encouraging her.

"I'm ready! My name is Minamoto Yoshitsune. Please don't mind my gender. Yoshitsune wants to avoid embarrassing it, so I want to act as a suitable representative of the Bushido Plane. Nice to meet you!

"Uwoo! Nice to meet you too!"

It doesn't matter that you're a girl! Actually, that's even better for us!"

Once again, the voices of the male students take over the field.

Running back to Benkei, Yoshitsune says, "I was able to greet them properly, Benkei!"

"Yoshitsune, the microphone is still on."

"Oh, excuse me."

"You shouldn't get too nervous about it," Benkei says.

"I'll reflect on those words."

"With the ladies out of the way, up next is the only male in the Bushido Plan. 2-s, Nasuno Yoichi! Introduce yourself!" Tesshin says, calling for him to step forward.

But as the seconds pass, no one shows up.

"Maybe he's shy? Yo-I-Chi!" Tesshin says as several others in the crowd begin to call for him.

As both the students and the teachers are discussing Yoichi's actions of skipping, the man in question is just watching the crowd from the rooftop, still standing several metres away from Huang Luan.

"Not going?" Huang Luan asks.

"Hah, how lame. I only need to interact with them until I graduate. What's the point in getting close to them. We all live and die alone."

Nasuno Yoichi, much like his original counterpart, he's an archer. But this man… he suffers from nihilism and is a hardcore chuunibyou.

Back on the stage, Yoshitsune steps forward, "E-everyone, please listen, Yoichi isn't here by chance. He's shy, and maybe a little hard to handle… but Yoichi is a good person. So please don't be mad about this and please socialise with him. Yoshitsune will apologise for him not being here himself. I'm so sorry about this." She then lowers her head in front of everyone. "So I would like for everyone to get along with Yoichi."

But interrupting the atmosphere is Benkei drinking from a sake cup, "Mmm~ It's so good~"

Yelling out from the crowd is Christiane Friedrich, "Hey! I was wondering why Benkei had that gourd, but she's drinking sake back there!"

"Benkei, you couldn't hold it in?"

"Sorry," Benkei says, but she doesn't stop drinking.

"T-this is Kawakami Water, you all know it, it's not sake," Yoshitsune says.

"Oh, okay… Wait Kawakami Water isn't okay to drink either!" Christiane points out.

Off to the side, Kojima Umeko says, "Kawakami Water is non-alcoholic, but you can still get drunk."

"I expected no less of Kojima-sensei. This is an important matter," Lu says.

"I'm sorry, everyone. I have a certain disease. If I don't drink this every so often, my body starts shaking., Benkei says.

"Oh, in that case, it can't be helped," Christiane says, completely convinced.

But one of the male students, Morooka Takuya, notices something, "But isn't that… mmph?" but his mouth is blocked by Gakuto before he can question it.

"Read the mood, Moro. Kawakami Water is fine if she's pretty."

As a student mentions she's getting special treatment, Tesshin says, "To balance it out, if Benkei places lower than 3rd place out of all the second year students at any time, she'll be expelled right away. So if she gets a test score lower than 3rd place, she'll be saying goodbye."

Naturally, hearing that she'll have to stay at 3rd place or higher riles up the students, especially from 2-S. Treating her as a strong rival to go up against.

Yoshitsune gives a small apology for any discomfort they might have caused and mentions how she want to get along with everyone. She finishes with a deep bow, while Seiso gracefully bows her head, and Benkei simply raises her hand.

"Next up are the people who are related to the Bushido Plan. Both will be entering the first year. The two of them are going into 1-S! Now, come up."

On Tesshin's prompt, a bunch of people in fancy suits begin to show themselves while a prestigious orchestra readies themselves on the side. As the orchestra begins to play the men in suits stand in two long parallel lines before turning to face each other. Placing their hands on the shoulders of the person opposite to them and leaning forward heads colliding, creating a human bridge. Walking across the human bridge with a red feathered fan in one hand is a small girl with long grey hair and an X mark on her forehead, she's wearing an outfit reminiscent of shrine maidens.

"I have arrived!"

Upon her arrival, a burst of loud laughter can be heard from Kuki Hideo, a man with short grey hair and an X mark on his forehead.

"Fuhahahaha, what's the point of hiding it? She's my little sister!!"

"I can already see that! Who else could she be!?" Retorts Fushikawa Kokoro, a 2-S student who wears a high-class reddish-pink kimono with a floral pattern.

"There are two Kuki's… this is way too chaotic…" says Margit.

But one man, in particular, is overjoyed, the local lolicon of 2-S Inoue Jun, "My heart was moved just by seeing her… what charisma!

"Yeah, yeah, I bet it's good for you," Kokoro says.

"Just now, I think I fell in love," Jun says.

Walking up to the stage proudly with an old butler in a suit behind her, she says, "My name is Kuki Monshiro. Call me Mon-sama! I skipped a few grades, so I decided to go to Kawakami Academy where the Bushido Plan is in effect. This way, it's easier to order the bodyguards around. I dislike boredom. We only live once, so let's enjoy our lives! Fuhahaha!!"

A good portion of the students are a bit taken back by Monshiro's intensity, but most of them quickly adjust.

"Hey, Gramps. Where's the other transfer student?" Momoyo asks.

"He's been next to Mon-chan," Tesshin says.

"... Hey, hey. Is that really how it is?"

Turning towards the butler, Monshiro says, "Go ahead and introduce yourself."

"I will be transferring into the first year S-Class. My name is Hume Hellsing. Nice to meet all of you."

"There's no student that old," Momoyo says.

"You're a bit wrong there, but Hume is a special case. He's escorting Mon-chan," Tesshin says.

"We won't even have much to talk about with an elderly person like that," says Kosugi, a student from 1-S.

Hearing her, Hume says, "Young lady, it might be a surprise, but I like games and stuff. I use the sprite-type machine."

"That's a PC-98 game! How old is that thing!?" Calls out the head otaku of 2-F, Suguru.

"So that old man is Hume Hellsing…" Momoyo says.

"Is he strong?" Asks Yumiko, a classmate of Momoyo's in 3-F.

"It's not a matter of his strength. He's the No.0 of the Kuki family's servants. But he doesn't seem as strong as I imagined… it must be the old age."

But just as Momoyo says that, Hume appears behind her and says, "Hmph… you lack muscle as a striker, Kawakami Momoyo.

"...! When did you get behind me?"

"Hmph, I see… you're still a baby," Hume says before disappearing.

"Excuse me, but allow me to introduce myself," says another butler, bringing everyone's attention back to the stage. "I am the Kuki family's 3rd ranked servant, Claudio Nero. We, Kuki's servants, will appear in Kawakami periodically to escort Mon-sama and ensure the success of the Bushido Plan… but we would like to get along with everyone. We are on your side."

As Claudio finishes his introduction, Monshiro speaks up, "Fuhaha! Also, Claudio prefers plump women. He's not married so if there's anyone who's interested, go ahead and try to seduce him."

"Thanks for the explanation, Mon-sama."

"Then finally we have our last transfer student. She's a student from China, come out, Huang Luan!" Tesshin says, calling for Huang Luan.

But much like Yoichi's introduction, no one new makes an appearance on the stage. Half opening an eye, he looks up towards the rooftop, seeing both Huang Luan and Yoichi. Closing his eye again, Tesshin sighs, "We seem to have another one skipping the assembly. Well, this student's a bit of a delinquent, but try to get along with her. She'll be entering 2-F."

Back on the rooftop with Huang Luan and Yoichi, Yoichi says, "Not going?" returning Huang Luan's previous words back at her.

"Nah, too much work. I'd rather laze around here, enjoying the sunlight. Having a relaxing time with my new nihilistic bud, right Yoiyoi."

"Since when were we friends? For your information, I still don't trust you."

Stepping back to lay on the bench on the rooftop, Huang Luan continues to tease Yoichi but hearing what Tesshin says next causes her to stop.

"Hey! Hu-Ang-Lu-An! Come out and play, I have candy!" Tesshin yells.

Many of the students are bewildered at the way the Principal is calling for the new student like one would for a child.

But all is silent as everyone sees the bench that should be on the rooftop is flying through the air towards the stage where Tesshin is standing. The Principal doesn't move as it flies right by him, breaking into pieces as it collides with the ground beside him.

"I suppose I shouldn't push it. As I've just demonstrated, our new student has a bit of a temper, so keep that in mind. But she isn't bad at heart. That's all for the assembly," Tesshin says, walking off the stage, leaving many of the students dumbfounded.

Yoichi is looking warily at Huang Luan, 'She kinda reminds me of Anego. I should probably stay away from her if I want to live longer.'

"You have something you want to say, Yoiyoi?"

Despite inwardly sweating, Yoichi plays it off and says, "Dealing with you has left me tired. I should just skip homeroom and go play around."

But turning around, Yoichi finds that one of the Kuki servants, Koi Kiriyama, has sneaked up behind him, "My mother once told me that communication is very important."

"Geh! Kiriyama!"

"Yoichi-kun, please take a look at the schoolyard. The girls here are pretty cute. I'm sure your fellow transfer student here will turn out to be a cute young girl in a few more years as well. Obviously, their beauty is far, far, far below my mother's beauty."

"You still have the same mother complex," Yoichi says.

"How about you fall in love for once?" Kiriyama suggests.

"Love? Hah, that's stupid… love is just a thinly veiled expression of lust."

"You're still as nihilistic as before… Anyway, have some tea. I'll make sure that you go to homeroom."

"And if I refuse?" Yoichi asks.

"This is what happens," Kiriyama says as two maids appear behind him. An American and Chinese.

"I see, you're going with brute force. Fine, I'll go. A three vs one isn't an easy fight," Yoichi says, turning around heading down to class.

"Huh? What is this idiot talking about?" Asks Stacy, the blonde American maid.

"I guess he's at that age," says Lee, the Chinese maid.

"Keh. Boys at that are bothersome," Stacy says.

With Yoichi gone, the three servants turn their attention to the small child-like girl behind them.

"I would suggest you go to homeroom as well, Young Lady," Kiriyama says.

"Don't think you can force me like the chuuni.".

"Yes, I'm aware. It was merely a suggestion, Miss Huang Luan," Kiriyama says.

"Hmm…" Huang Luan looks towards Stacy who's glaring at her and the calm deadpanned Lee. "Alright, I'll humour you," Huang Luan says, taking a step and disappearing.

With the two students gone from the rooftop, Kiriyama dismisses the two maids and says, "She could be a potential hindrance to the plan. I'll have to look into her."
