Maya’s History (part:1)
( Maya's POV )
My Name is Maya Reed and I'm 15 years old, my height is around 5'7'' ft(1.70m), My father is from the U.S. but my mother is from Japan
I'm moving out of my other school thanks to some troubles I had with a female teacher and some of my classmates
The move was very sudden, but I don't feel sad because in my old school, I didn't have any friends, why? it was thanks to my looks, the girls hated me because I attracted all the boys, but I didn't talk with any of them because I always felt their gazes filled with lust and that's what I hated most, I hope that that doesn't happen here again
I entered a very good-looking school, where I was received in the same way as I expected
" Wow! she is very beautiful! even more than Kaori-san! " Said a boy with a big smile
" Yes! haha! " Another boy laughed with happiness
" How stupid are you boys, can you stop screaming? " A girl said coldly
" Alright, calm down all of you! " A beautiful woman said loudly
" Yes! Sensei! " All the students there screamed with happy smiles on their faces, then she turns her head to see me and says with a humble smile " Now, do you want to introduce yourself? "
I nod with an expressionless face then I see all the classmates in front of me say " Nice to meet you all, my name is Maya, Maya Reed.... and that's it "
" Wow her voice sounds so sexy " Said a boy in a kinda lower voice but all of us hear him, I was kinda annoyed by his comment but then
" Tch " Someone clicked its tongue I could see who was the one who did it but I'm sure it was one of the girls, It seems that the whole situation in my old school is going to repeat once again
Then " Now, Maya-san, please take a seat " The sensei smiled at me and I went to an empty seat, right at the entrance of the classroom
Our Sensei is a very beautiful woman in her thirties, she looks like a good person, well for my first impression of her
When the break started, I was surrounded by a lot of boys and girls they ask the same questions that I predicted, like if I had a boyfriend or if I'm from another country
After that, I left the classroom with a couple of my classmates, we went to the cafeteria to buy something to eat, there I saw him, eating and reading utterly alone at a table next to a window
He is a thin young man with messy short black hair, thin black eyebrows, and pale skin. From what I can see from where I'm standing he looks to be smaller than me. He is very handsome, but what attracted my attention to him was his gray eyes, I had never seen eyes like that, they are beautiful as that charming smile he is making, but his eyes and smile transmit a hint of loneliness
" Look, the filthy prince is laughing alone again " The girl that was on my left said with a disgusted expression
" Yeah, how disgusting, how I would like to take off his face to put it on to the fat boy who likes me, haha! " Said the girl on my right with a mocking grin
I was surprised by how these two girls reacted to him after all he was very handsome despite he is small and a little skinny, but I didn't show them my surprise to them I just kept an emotionless face and asked the girl on my left " Why are you speaking about him like that? "
The girl on my left keeps her disgusted face as she says " Well Maya-san, he is quite handsome but his personality sucks, he always speaks or laughs alone "
" Yes, Maya-san, it would be better if you don't speak with him, I saw him wear his school uniform even on weekends, I think he doesn't shower, haha " The girl on my right spoke mockingly
" Haha, how gross " Both girls laughed at the same time
These girls keep laughing at him even when we are so close to him, but he keeps reading and smiling like he doesn't care about what they say
I saw him with doubt as I think ' Is he pretending to not hear them? or he simply doesn't care? '
I kept seeing him from afar for an entire week maybe more, I don't know why, but when I see his smile he makes me smile. At that time, I discovered his name and age, his name is Hayato, and was a year younger than me, he likes to read manga a lot, I never tried to approach him at that time but at that time I also became the best friend of a girl named Kaori, she is the only one that knows that I like to watch him from afar
One Sunday when I was going towards my home in a car with my parents I saw him sitting on a bench in a park alone wearing his school uniform as he reads something, every people will says that that's normal, but it's normal to be there at high hours of the night being a young student?
When my father stops the car by the red light I pointed at him from inside the car and I say " Look, Dad, what is he doing there? "
My dad sees me from the mirror to then turns to see the park then he answers me calmly " Hmm? that kid? he is always there, it seems that his parents let him do what he pleases, I had saw him there almost every night "
My Mother turns to see me with a menacing expression and says " I hope you don't become like him, you heard me, young lady? "
" ….Yes " I made a wry smile and I keep seeing him until we left the place ' Almost every night? ' what my father said made me wonder, why is he there at night?
One month later, I found out that his parents died when he was very young, so my parents were completely wrong about him, I decided that I will follow him one day and see why he always stays outside so late, sometimes I wonder why I'm so interested in him? maybe it's just curiosity
A week later I followed him after school, but he never arrived at his home, he just kept walking on the streets, watching the houses with care, like he was waiting for something then someone from one of the houses spoke to him
" Hello Hayato-Kun, what brings you here? " It was an old woman, she spoke to him with a smiling face when Hayato passed near her house
Hayato makes a big smile and says " Hello ma'am, I was seeing if you have some work for me today "
" Oh my sweet boy, you can paint my garage, I will pay you more than twice from the previous time " The old woman smiled back
" Really! Thank you! I will finish in a couple of hours and it will be perfect I promise you! " Screamed Hayato with a happy smile
The old woman laughs happily and says " Hehe, don't overdo it, you need to rest sometime, okay? the paint is inside the garage "
After that I watched him paint the garage from the beginning, all the time he had a smile on his face, so I couldn't resist taking a picture of him with my cell phone, after all, his smile is so cute... Watching the picture with a smiling face, my face turns red from embarrassment and I think ' Why am I doing this? '
He kept painting until the old lady bring him something to eat and drink, then I decided to approach him, I approached him just before he finished painting the garage
" Hey! what are you doing!? " I screamed with a smile as I approached him from behind
Hayato shivers a little then he makes a nervous smile " Eh!? Ah… H-hello Maya-san, I'm just... working "
I'm not surprised that he knows me, after all, the boys make a fuss when I arrive together with Kaori
" You know that our school forbids its students to work, right? " I made a teasing smile
" Y-Yes, of course, I know, but this counts more as a favor, don't you think? " Hayato made a bright smile that made my heart race
" S-Sure, then see you in the school " I act calm but I'm so nervous right now
" O-Ok, later Maya-san " Hayato smiled shyly
He continues painting after I hide around the corner, when he finished he didn't go to his home again, he went to a store and bought a bunch of manga, light novels, and fast food then he walked to the park where I saw him that night
He did his homework and after that, he read all the stuff that he bought, maybe I will read some of them to see why is he so obsessed with that
I was waiting to see when he would go home when my phone sounded, thank God it doesn't have the sound so high
" What is it, mother? " I answered the phone with a soft voice
" Maya! It's almost 8 pm! where are you?! come home right now young lady! " My mother screamed through the phone, so I covered my phone with my hands watching Hayato just in case he heard her but it seems that he is still reading
" Ok " I answered softly then I leave the park, but not before I watch him one last time ' He isn't going to stay all night there, right? ' I couldn't help to feel very concerned about him
I never had the chance to see him when he left the park, but I hope that he didn't stay there all night
On Sunday, I went to the store to buy the same mangas that he was reading before, I bought those that were called Nanatsu no Taizai, Naruto, and Dragon ball
I had little hope in them at first, but after a few chapters I became addicted to them since then I always read them when I'm alone in my room
The next day, I noticed he has the same school uniform he had when he painted the garage of the old lady, how do I know that? well, he painted his shoulder with yellow paint
I was seeing him reading in the cafeteria like always, after all this time he hasn't noticed that I'm always watching him, I think is thanks to those who send him looks of disgust, then I saw someone approach him
It was a handsome young man he was seeing him with anger " Hey! filthy prince! that's my place to eat, so get your ass out of there! "
" No, I always sit here and you know it Akira, so why do you insist that is yours? " Hayato responded him coldly
" Haha, Akira, he is making fun of you! " A short guy near the handsome young man said mockingly
" Shut up, now you filthy prince, get the f*ck out of here! or you will regret what you said! " The guy named Akira becomes angrier and grabs Hayato from his shirt raising him after all he is taller than him
" No " Hayato said coldly and he punches him on the chin making him release him
They began to fight Hayato seems to know how to defend himself but even so, I was so worried that I want to stop them but then someone interfered
" Stop! Akira-Kun, why are you always bothering him? " It was Kaori she was seeing coldly that guy named Akira
" Tch… let's go you idiots " Akira and his idiots left the cafeteria
" Thank you Kaori-san " Hayato smiled in a way that I have never seen before
" It's ok, then, see you later " Kaori smiled back and she comes to a seat near me
' What is this I feeling? it hurts, it only happened when he smiled at her like that, I want him to smile at me like that, wait, could it be that I'm jealous? does that mean that I fell in love with him? '
