Chapter 20

Thasneem stood in the riverbank, staring at the flowing river. She watched as a frog hoped towards the edge of the river and leapt into the water with a splash. She saw the sand and stones through the crystal clear water and was fascinated to see the colourful tiny fishes swimming inside of it. She felt sure that the river wasn't much deep in that part because she was able to assume the water level accordingly because of its clearness. She waded through the knee-length water and reached the other end of the river.
