Poor Malfoy

"I'm afraid I can't join you on the expedition right now. Why not ask Hagrid?" Luke suggested to Harry.

"Hagrid is well-versed in magical creatures; he might have a solution," he continued, considering Hagrid's expertise with the three-headed dog that Dumbledore brought back to guard the basement.

However, Luke's main concern was the clash between Snape and Quirrell.

"Aren't you two worried about losing house points?" Hermione chastised the Gryffindors, disapproval evident in her gaze.

"What's there to be afraid of? We're practically in negative numbers now," Ron retorted, pointing out that Snape's daily deductions had left their house on the brink of making history for the lowest score.

Seeing the Gryffindors' nonchalance, Hermione, frustrated, clung to Luke's arm, realizing the futility of trying to salvage their house's standing.

"Fine, I'll ask Hagrid tomorrow," Harry agreed with Luke's suggestion, acknowledging Hagrid's extensive knowledge of magical creatures.

"You Gryffindors, keep it down!" Mrs. Prince, seated in the library, warned Luke in a hushed voice, threatening to inform Professor McGonagall.

.....

In Slytherin's dormitory, Luke entered to find a jubilant Malfoy.

"What's got you so happy?" Luke inquired, surprised to see Malfoy in such high spirits.

"It's a letter from Halle, Halle Geralt!" Malfoy exclaimed.

"Harry," Luke wondered, puzzled by Malfoy's joy over letter.

"No, not Harry Potter. Halle! Halle... Geralt?" Malfoy clarified, his excitement evident.

Luke, taken aback, stared blankly at Malfoy. Who was Halle Geralt, and how come he, Luke, had never heard of this person?

As the realization dawned on him, Luke remembered Harry's inquiry about the gender bender earlier in the day.

"No way…"

"It's that little witch with glasses who sat next to you last time!" Malfoy asked Luke, "Don't you remember?"

"Harry fucking potter!" Luke cursed under his breath.

Luke looked at Malfoy happily reading the letter and couldn't help but feel pity. He wondered if Malfoy would be devastated when he found out the other end of the letter was Harry.

"I remember what she did..."

To avoid spoiling Harry's good deeds, Luke decided to lie.

But why did Harry name himself a Geralt? He couldn't comprehend.

"You really don't remember such a beautiful little witch?" Malfoy said increduLukesly. "She's the prettiest witch I've ever seen in Gryffindor!"

"Fuck, this dude is fully smittened!"

Saying this, Luke was sleepy.

Luke patted Malfoy on the shoulder in pity.

"I wish you a happy relationship, my friend!"

After speaking, Luke lay down on the soft bed and resumed reading books. The adventurous stories were thrilling, and the knowledge of monsters and potions was detailed—useful as a travel book.

Thinking about it, the frog cub should be back tomorrow, right? Luke glanced at the date on the photo; indeed, it was coming back tomorrow. He looked forward to bringing back something good.

.....

The next morning, after Charms class, Harry stopped Luke and Hermione.

"You want me to go with you to find Hagrid?"

Luke looked at Harry with incomprehension, hoping for an explanation.

"Please Luke just this once!" Ron pleaded.

"Ok then, let's go."

With those words, Harry and Ron nodded to each other. Interested in Hermione's manuscript studying magical creatures.

"By the way, who is Halle Geralt?" Luke suddenly asked Harry halfway through.

The name made Harry's body twitch.

"Did Malfoy let you read the letter?" he asked quietly.

"That's not true; he just mentioned something," Luke shook his head.

"So what's your plan?"

After a brief hesitation, Harry glanced at Ron, who was leading the way, and at Hermione, who was eavesdropping on Luke's conversation.

"I want to ask him out, and then..."

"And then?" Hermione inquired.

"Prank him on epic proportions," Harry shrugged and whispered.

"Maybe you can pretend to try dating him first and then switch back to being Harry when he's in love with you!" Ron suggested mischievously.

"..." Harry glanced at Ron in shock. This guy is too cruel. He just want to pull off a small prank.

Hermione proposed a method.

"Why not turn Malfoy into a girl too?"

Luke "..."

Harry instantly accepted the idea.

"I'm going to pour the whole bottle into his mouth!"

The thought of that scene made Harry feel relieved.

In front of Hagrid's hut, a knock on the door prompted Hagrid to open it slightly, revealing a head peering at the little guests.

"Long time no see, Hagrid!" Harry greeted with a smile.

"Oh, long time no see, Harry!" Hagrid was delighted to see Harry after a prolonged absence.

"Can we come in and talk?" Harry asked, eyeing the obstructed door.

"No, this room can't be entered now!" Hagrid quickly shook his head and refused.

"Is that a Fire Dragon egg!" Ron, at that moment, spotted something on the table through the corner of the window.

He shouted excitedly. "Shhh-"
