Tricky Business

The brutish Japanese vehicles stormed onto the drop-off point, showcasing their dominance with a loud grunt of electricity amidst galled tyre noises which seemingly emphasized on their bulky, edgy yet scary design. Hardly the star of the attraction unlike the loud and large bull-bars amid their tall suspension. Rolling their eyes as if they were ready to crush some peasant vehicle as they screeched to a halt. The brakes wheezed, struggling to meet the armed men needs as they impatiently stepped out of the vehicles in unison with their black suits and coldly wandered into the casino. Frustrating and confusing the many guards as they looked on at the many vehicles. They attempted to stop them in their tracks but the showcase of their large shotguns shooed them away, leaving them to their now large problems as the now clogged entry to the lobby became filled with metal clanking and angry horns.

Sylvie watched, still uncomfortable in her long green halter dress she had been given, as the men wandering around, splitting up and covering all of the floor with their pistols at hand. She gulped. Hardly caring about the figure in her mind who relaxed by the large leather chairs. Smiling like a punk. Every time she looked at her, she could only think of the overwhelming force she had a week earlier. But she knew she shouldn't get too worried about her, other pressing things were worrying her, swarming around her like flies. She looks at her palms, wondering if she would take over her body. Her thoughts now distracted by her fears, sensing Ashlyn hearing her thoughts. She sighed, looking away from everyone, hoping that she isn't spotted from her newfound notoriety.

Up above, Ambar wandered about slowly, spotting a lean man, his glasses gleaming with thought as shadows covered his dimly lit face like a darkness which consumed him long ago. Beside him were two faces he had knew long ago despite their age and their own modifications. Their powers illuminating the greed that consumed most in the area. The threat. He clenched his fists, still angry about what they had done. Even though the childhood he once remembered was false, their betrayal when he was forcefully taken for training was however bulging like a sore pimple. His scar behind him still making him wince till this day. But his chance had yet to arrive. His identity too loud to be seen. He could only see himself seethe silently. Hiding himself away from the crowd as he sees the trio head down an elevator to the seller.

"He is coming your way."

"I know." Shao Lin responded with annoyance from her bleak, revenge-filled colleague, looking at the hidden lift lobby she had just noticed as she spots a man walking out of the corner with a cyborg and a lady wandering into the small lounge room now armed to the teeth with men, beginning to shoo anyone getting too close. She gulped, secretly removing the mouse-like machine made by Ambar, hiding behind her stockings with chaotic intent as it silently wandered via the walls and into the dark ceiling. Praying that she didn't missed a single detail as the doors closed on the room.

"Leroy, your job." She took out her phone, attempting to falsely contact their hacker as Hanson spots him beginning to fiddle with his phone. Hanson peers out from his sniper, moaning at his job. He hates such jobs. He felt so bored yet was terrified at it's intensity, hoping that no one had spotted their scrambler as Leroy takes over control of the automated robot. swivelling his fingers on the screen as it moved silently through the air vents, hiding in it's spot by a corner as the cameras activate, filling his phone with colour. The audio echoing by the rooftop silently as he sat and relaxed, toggling the audio to everyones' feeds.

He peers at Leroy's phone, spotting the cyborg slamming a document of what felt like a clause. Filled with curiosity, he slowly moved the camera's focus onto the document. It's lenses silently focusing on the item as he looks at the document startled. Hanson, rather confused at his started reaction turned around, only to gasp at what he was seeing. The bulky man were selling them two Revel Types. One of them he knew being the Pixil, the other shook him to his core. A machine he knew based off what he heard from his superiors, a Revel Type so strong it was better than the other Revels, a monster that can destroy the earth, kept in it's cage of unknown redacted files which applied even for him as a hero. The redacted machine. Cthulhu.

He couldn't believe it. These machines were definitely not supposed to be sold, only owned by The Light of Men themselves as a reminder of what can happen. He turns away, sweating profusely as he focused on his sights, frightened at the thought of a traitor was amongst their ranks wanting to watch the world burn by opening the floodgates.

"These are my friend's "prized possessions". All of them I can guarantee can bring you unimaginable power that one can dream!" He nudged his glasses, its reflection glowing green from the thought of currency in his bank as the buyer laughed menacingly, his bodyguards smirking at the sight. To them, it was the real deal.

Hanson could only gulp in disappointment. His fear was completely realised in one fell swoop. With a shake of his head, he immediately opens a lid hidden beneath his multi-functional cane without Leroy's consent, immediately pressing a yellow button amongst all of the others as he looks ahead. Hoping they receive the message.

"It is nice and all, but I want more." He watch him smirk as the cyborg moved closer to the seller, frightening him as his men moved closer to stop him. But even they are afraid at the size of a drill he had as they revealed themselves hiding by his hand. Splitting in half and launching it towards his head amid the crazed swirls of delight. Ignorant at where it had been placed and hungry for blood. Each turn blowing through his hair strands like a hair dryer, deafening his ears as it made a inhumane screech.

"I want the items. But with my catch."

He stroked his hands menacingly, crossing his arms as he stares at the terrified seller, his men unable to act, frozen in their spots and unsure what to do. He peers outside, hearing men and women outside, armed to the teeth. Though he noticed the lack of fearful terror from onlookers. Something he is impressed by as he slouches, waiting for his answers.

"Y...y...yessss. Yeessss" He looks at him, terrified at the buyer as his drill continued to whirl, attempting to keep him on his toes as he calms down. Looking at him, annoyed that he had been bested with what seemed like humans gifted with powers.

"What do you want?" He watches the unhinged man stare down at his frightened and frustrated self. Unsure of how to deal with such a buyer. Watching his hands, still extremely excited for a kill. Energetic yet sadistically sweating among his palms.

"You know the price of life isn't it? So won't it be possible that I trade your life for these two robots? It is after all better than 70 millions dollars wasted from my own treasury..." He walks up, slowly walking to the defeated man, hoping wanted a compromise, but this felt like too much to ask. He looks at his men, their guns drawn, following his movement as he notices the girl beginning to clench her fists, burning up into a ball of flame as she looked at the men with disrespect. Her eyes fixated on her next prize like a hooligan ready to take control of the whole casino.

"F... F... FINE! Alright..."

As he surrendered, unable to win in his perilous situation. The rest of the people still failed to notice the 'spy' in the room, still gleefully recording for everyone to hear. An interesting conversation as to past the time. It would be relaxing. Tense. But still relaxing.

Sylvie could however barely relax listening to their conversation. Wandering around lazily, the typical shady stuff she sometimes have to see during her work made her puke at times. As she listened however, she feels a heavy nudge from a brute man, easily seen in her eyes as rather annoyed by such disturbances as he walked around the area armed earlier in his suit, grunting as she passes by. She quickly moved away, attempting to walk away peacefully while giving a sheepish nod when she begin to hear the man shouting at her.

"Hey... Stop here! Hey!"

"Guys, I have been compromised!" she whispered into the mike, quietly attempting to walk away, hastily yet calmly to the exit. But as she turns around for a look. She sees a pistol pointed directly at her head. His eyes filled with steadfast determination as he grinned at her new target.

"Well there isn't a need to hide now is it?"

Her eyes widened, realising her partner's antics as she tries to take control, telling her that she knows what to do. But all she can see now is herself not in control. Watching in disbelief as her hands grabbed a potted plant and threw it at the now horrified man, looking as if he had seen something he couldn't comprehend. Watching the plant grow into a large hand full of sticks which fatally stabbed him, imploding the entire walkway under it's mass as it began to collapse into the lower floors. A sight to behold as her colleagues and everyone got away to safety.

"Darn it Ashlyn!"

Guess the only good thing at least is that they get to hear what was going on...
