She was at her limit, battling six individuals at once is nothing more than a nasty feat. She is glad that much of their numbers had spit up, but the sight of those slimy ladies infuriates her. Those two slimy ladies had been nothing more than brutes. It wasn't like Seamaster or the lady she encountered with psychic abilities, they were natural counters to her abilities despite the possibility of being damaged in return. This was ludicrous. None of the flames seemed to work on them despite her spreading it out consistently around the room or concentrating it to finish them off in one blow.

What did they do to them?

She looks around her surroundings with vexation, watching much of her allies fall to their knees. Unconscious and defeated. Their stolen guns hardly a threat to the reformed group now harassing their new stronghold. She turns around slightly, starring at the corridors leading further into the hidden mansion. Infused with nothing more than the clash of emotions, full of hatred and sorrow.

As the one that caused this whole mess, she had respectively taken the blame for it all. Allowing her back to be scarred by him multiple times just to attempt to be even with his injuries. Feeling the joy of being close to the grim reaper's arms. She doesn't fully know if he had forgiven her, much of his injuries far too severe to even comprehend the use of a simple apology when she lost control of her abilities. But as the one that ran away, the man who hastily cut his arm off had been far more involved than she realised. She sighs, feeling the guilt of the man that was once his friend. His joy in a place filled with horror. Now, nothing more than a unfulfilled burden. But through the fire and debris, the fact he simply left his arm to one side was just plain stupid. Just like his younger self.

She looks back up, spotting the slimy lady with large boots appear directly right in front of her, forming a large hammer and charging it directly into her face. Completely ignorant at the flames she ignited. Dashing through the fiery fountain of sparks blowing over her entire body, not even leaving a single burn mark on her clothes. She seethed, smashing a display cabinet on the wall and ripping off a shashka. Carefully igniting the metal as it blazed red, slightly burning the wooden grip. Slashing the slimy figure back in her place amid a strange gust of wind that appeared, materialised with metal led at super speed.

All from a rude metal cyborg, a dishevelled baby face girl and an untrained civilian.

"For some honourable members of the Light of Men, you guys sure fight dirty!"

Exhaling heavily, she jumps up towards the top of the ledge, dodging the multiple debris being thrown across the wall, piercing through the thick metal cladding like butter. Narrowly tearing off her flaming hair.

"Yet with fire abilities, you are so predictably hot headed. How disappointingly admirable!"

Verda stared back at her, immediately lifting a bunch of book cabinets off their hinges. Ignoring the pristine condition of the books that stood in it's way as she tears everything into pieces, slamming them directly at her face.

"Damn you!"

She dashed into the tight corridors, dwelling in the darkness, dodging their attacks as she falls further and further from her holding point, her allies hardly able to get any closer with all of the commotion outside.

"At the rate that this is going, Tatsuya will truly burst with fury!"

She ignited a blast of flames once again, using the winds around her and turning it into an inferno. Tearing apart the debris and her pursuers. Listening to the tearful screams of her psychic pursuer, unable to hold up to the strain as she falls back on her knees. Leaving her with her slimy allies. She honestly hates using this move here in such a tight spot. Just thinking of the fees her caretaker would have to pay would be far too high. Leaving them to steal riskier items which she begins to find sick from. Even then there is little left to steal now that the globe had begun to hide their gold, all in the event of wars that could possibly end humanity.

"Is there any weapons in these rooms…"

The darkness greeted her with open arms, granting her safe passage from the light which forsaken her long ago. Watching silently at the woman now scampering across the cold marble floor, filled with sweat that drenched her outfit. Stained with dirt and blood. Splashing goop around frantically through the empty rooms, checking for any weapon that she could use to her advantage. But nothing.

She looks at the shashka, scrapped with goop that trembled onto the floor. Her only weapon that could tackle those two slimy creatures. She stared at her blade, feeling the hunch of the remaining goo tracking her movements and clinging on like glue. It seemed useless to flee. She groaned in frustration, looking back to see those two slimy women what stood by the front, barely recognisable through the dim lights which illuminated from his battle.

Oh how she wished she could call in reinforcements or be as skilled as him. In the face of death once again however, she could only smirk. Raising her hands up in the air as she drop her weapon. Silent gazing back at the two who stood around with a defensive stance. Looking back at her confused and rigid from her fiery attempts.

"My my isn't this so one sided? Can't you just turn this down a notch? I don't want to make this even more pressing for everyone in this corridor."

She waves her hands, attempting to usher them away with pride. Ignorant of their rather disappointed faces that stared back at her figure.

"End with the self flattery! You just hate it when your pride is broken like that. Besides we didn't come down here to burn this place for you!"

Shane yelled from behind, her stolen gun raised and directly aimed at her. Hiding her cold sweat with a firm formal composure. She could tell her suspicions of her is up a notch. Uselessly watching by the side lines as if she really were to use her abilities as a final move. If she did have any remaining. She had heard bits of information about what had happened with Maximilian and Ambar from Hanson, each detail more sickening than the next.

"Then what?!? Stabbing us in the back by selling us out to the authorities?!? Just like The Creator who abandoned Scott to his death?!? Or maybe causing the Third World War like Phantom Pain did?!?"

She looks around at the rest, just as confused and clueless as her. Unsure to make of her words. As an individual who claimed to be one of Ambar's old friends, she could only wonder what she truly saw.

Was that what Sylvie heard? Was that why she is investigating vigorously and treating Victor so violently? Was this why Ambar was so infuriated with himself?

"Judging by your face, that is exactly what you are going to do! You two-faced hypocrites! You are no different from those monsters who forcefully gave you all those powers! You are no light of men! Just the bleakest the world has to offer! Broken and weak!"

She points at the group, looking upon their clueless eyes that infuriated her further. Still attempting to hold back her attempts to attack them off guard. Hopeful they still have that honour within them to fight on equal terms.

"Yes. But also strong in moving forward and learning from their mistakes!"

She looks up stunned, spotting multiple white slimy looking tentacles emerge from the back of the disgraced queen of Sector B. She immediately ignited her hands, hoping to scare her off but all she could see was the slimy tentacles wrap around her body, incapacitating her ability to act. Staining her suit with disgusting amounts of slime. Enraging her.

"You sly bastard!"

She shook frantically, hoping to wiggle her way out. Riled by the slimy lady who tightened her grip further. Leaving nothing but a slimy statue.

"Look! We were originally going to discuss the use of those two machines your caretaker had stolen to deal with those bloody alien invaders! But since you are so blind, I may as well settle you down for good with cheap underhanded moves!"

She grinned at the lady who tried to speak back, finding a way to get back at her violator but she could find none.

"From my time as the Queen of Sector B, I had seen far enough to know they are growing as a team. I might not be on good terms but from what I can understand, they deserve their title of Super far more than you! So shut up!"

She smirked, hiding her anger as she looks back at Verda with concern. Disappointed that she isn't fast enough to react to the flames, only able to watch her arms burnt beyond recognition. She carefully touches her palm, hoping to not make her wince. Looking away from her still sobbing face with shame. If the right help, her wounds would heal, but she won't be able to move her hands anymore. She stammered, filled with bitter grief as she clenched her fists in frustration. If she was faster than this…

"You B-"

The slimy tentacles covered her mouth. Gagging her speech with goop as she snaps the tentacles off, leaving her to her slimy devices as she screamed and hissed.

"A bit excessive for humiliating someone mum…"

Verda looks at her mother, slightly unnerved by her actions. Crossing her arms in painful solace upon her guilty stance, scratching her head with slight embarrassment.

"Finally she is dealt with, should we intervene their fight? The Buyer is there after all…"

Verda looks back towards the corridors, listening the clashing of metal and the stomping of feet. Rather frightened at what happened based off her words, worse was Victors' actions against the world. What does that leave him? She looks at Shane, silently wiping away her painful tears as she pats her on the back. Silently staring away into the darkness with her uneasy golden eyes.

"Nah, this is between them. We'll intervene when they are done."
