Harold

It emitted a loud crackle as the lightning collides with the particles in the gas canister. The screen above Saxon pops to life.

"GALED System activated."

It beamed with delight, it evil laughter echoing through his office as it and it's men pushed the group onto the window. They will experience the ultimate pain from there. Above the building, the stormy clouds became darker and redder as massive lightning struck the ground in all directions.

Newscasters and onlookers looked on in amazement, then suddenly sharp pain. They screamed in agony as their body fats shrink into nothing but a bony husk. Loud goopy cracks rippled through the body as they collapsed. Blood oozing out of the carcass as more and more people all succumb to the same fate. Pilots realizing the new weapon's ability quickly tries to run away, shooting up at the clouds to no avail as they explode. Victor gasped at the sight, watching the Haibu and 2R7 staring up at the clouds and shooting defiantly as they exploded.

Below, several Supers seeing this tried to act, persuading as many able footed men and women to escape. They accepted their fate, knowing that they tried to protect the innocent as they saluted and exploded to a pile of nothings. Up above, a news copter escapes at speed, cameramen quickly shown footage, broadcasting it live globally.

The group gasped at the destruction from the TV, still trying to rush through Shao Lin's recently cooked instant noodles. The footage broadcast was unreal and crude. Men and women falling down into bony husks. Planes and robots fell from the sky, crashing down into a giant inferno as the whole Sector is annihilated in flames.

"Aww man, I was hoping to stretch out for a bit at the beach..." Max said. Baku looked at him, irritated at his lack of dedication as a Super. She seemed ready to 'kill' him when Leroy answered, "Look we will go there next time, but we need to get to work."

They hastily finished their meal, heading down to the 100th floor. The huge amount of sanitizer irking Shane as the doors opened. The entire force had been mobilized. Soldiers marching through the grounds as human sized robots are hooked up to a platform like wet clothes being dried in the warm weather, arming for a future strike. Mechanics are tending to Victor's damaged robot, amazed at the technology The Light of Men possessed. Victor talked to two men who looked like they were the pilots accompanying him, Sylvie right beside, placing her arms by her back. Both of them seemed to have sweat hard, with sweat all around their faces and body.

As they finished speaking, Lord Linoleum and his queen, a woman who looks like is in her 50s and had intensive plastic surgery along with a young but weird looking man reached out to them, waving their arms to grab their attention. Shane and her group followed behind, arriving just in time for his queen to speak.

"Hello, you guys may not know me but I think you would appreciate our help. He will be helping you for the time being. His name is Harold and I hope you would benefit greatly with his help." The queen announced as the large, scrawny dark skinned man introduced himself. His royal outfit puffing out with his lack thereof of muscle. His hair which was completely shaved off which looked weird with his huge lips, taking up most of his face while booming in his low voice. He carried a large bag, seemingly filled with large bulky items that may be heavy, making them wonder how strong he was even.

"Hi, I may not be much, but I would do whatever I could to help you through this," he talked, uncertain of what to expect as Leroy moves towards him. Passing him the chip.

"Quickly, we would have to connect this now." Leroy responded. Looking away as he concentrated his task with him to connect all wires available. Lord Linoleum then took his leave, bowing as his queen soon followed, still sternly looking at the group as they left.

Derek gulped, he was in disbelief that he now had to help them in stupid dangerous stuff. Especially with suspicious people that may backstab them at any moment. He stares into space, wondering why he was still here when a loud whirl shakes him up, the circular portal opening up from the newly connected device to a dark void emerged, attracting everyone's attention. All gasping in fearful bravery.

"That is not possible! Physics does not even support this, what is this even?" Harold looked at Leroy, amazed at what The Light of Men had in their possession. He stares at Leroy, wanting answers.

"Look I'll explain later alright," he said, looking at his group as he continued, "guys prepare to enter. Especially you Derek!" Derek sighed as the group looked at each other and shrugged. They did not know what to do anyway.

Leroy quickly took out his ancient drone from his bag, controlling it into the place as it activated the camera, moving into the same dark area and back out of the portal with ease. He smiled, his drone still working fine as ever.

He reverts into his usual dull impression announcing that it was ready.

"It's time!"

The group eagerly entered, ready to find answers. Though Derek was still rather infuriated as he is kicked into the portal by Baku, rolling his eyes. His loud remark, "God dammit stop!!!" echoing in the void as they vanished.

Nearby Sylvie and Victor arrived to Leroy and Harold who still is trying to persuade him for answers.

"How did you do this? This is huge in the science world!"

"Look-" he wanted to avoid him for now, he did not want his work to be interrupted. But as soon as he saw the duo, he twisted his words and greeted them, to Harolds disappointment. He continued, "both of you get some rest, our quarters is at the 200th floor with your lunch ready on the table. As for you, what did I tell you?"

Harold sighed as he fiddled with his PC, checking the readings. Sylvie and Victor went back as he coughed out harshly on a tissue paper. Putting it away in his pocket as she turned around

"What is wrong?" Sylvie looked at him with concern. His medication is piling up high and yet he has not recovered. His mouth was bloody red with a pale face. Victor smiled at her tapping her shoulder as he replied, "no need to worry, lets just go have some rest. I'm sweating hard here." She looked away, still concerned at his worsening health.

As they head to the elevator. Victor throws a two pieces of tissue, all of them stained with blood as he tosses them discretely into the bin.

Harold. The one with the N word pass...
