Disagreement

"And why should we listen to you?!?" The female guard stammered, trying to show off her thick bulky armored suit and rifle at the group, she seemed terrified, hiding her constant sweat as she watched the baby wailed like a jaguar, unhinged yet gasping. Sylvie looks at it, wondering if the atmosphere was alright for the being but it's pulse seems to spike.

It was already bad enough for them to be in a lot of government's watch lists, especially when it is blasted across television. But to have an extraterrestrial being right at their doorstep. She can only hope the fearful and still angry people attempting to simmer had barely seen the silhouette of a weird object in the sky while Baku and Atsuki attempt to bring it's nose to bear earlier.

"Look it has a life, probably because of what had happened yesterday some being may had released it for safety!" she coughed as she continued, "they many be probably finding the poor child right now!"

"Whatever we would rather ask you to take it to us for t-" the men grudgingly moaned, annoyed by their demands as a man in a tidy business suit arrived. His bright blue suit catching everyone's eyes, just as he had probably hoped amongst his rather mundane and punchable face with his curly probable wig, nudging his glasses like a toy as he looks at the group with a tinge of disgust.

"No, give the being to us. We need to make sure that at least it is coping well such that he would live," He points at his men behind, bushy and brute with a bow tie ushered in a large trolley meant for missiles, oversized but practical enough to be brought to one side for checks as he continued his 'gentlemen talk', "Hi, my name is Guy Nammer, governor of Sector C. Nice to meet you"

He went to each of the members as he forcefully shook their hands, something Victor and Atsuki did not appreciate.

"We need to investigate the being further. But for now, I need you all to follow me." He brings them up as Victor looks at the being, still sobbing as men and women carefully pushed the battered pod to one side, its cries echoing through the halls as the doors close as he wonders if this was the right choice.

He leads them to his office which was filled with countless windows and endless long plain hallways filled with concrete, its panels visibly falling apart from the earlier event as cleaners struggle to clean the mess.

"Now please sit first."

They sat on the tall comfy chairs surrounding the tall glass table, it's cleanliness tarnished as sweat began to moisturise under Victor's palms, still weak and tired after struggling to enter Atsuki's car. He stares at her, not feeling pleasant from his experience. He could only feel glad that Leroy drove him there. As he relaxed from his pain, he activated his projector, the colour of each pixel fizzing to life, showcasing all of his accumulated work. A massive media frenzy filled with devastation in a large scale.

"Here is all of your 'work'."

He showcases the entire Australian continent split in two as an amateur video of a large crack claiming cars and buildings collapsed under the missing foundations.

"40000 dead, 120000 injured"

He then showcases pictures of a large nuclear explosion in Russia which split the factory into pieces as a meltdown ensues. Shao Lin turns around to see Sylvie beginning to lose herself, breaking into tears. She lowered down, attempting to comfort her. But she already knew that sure care and compassion won't be enough as he piles in more information to their faces

"100 dead, 60000 possibly dying from the after effects"

A video of Indonesia is then shown where a large tsunami wiped the large islands into nothing but a brown swamp with pictures of Singapore and Malaysia, full of 'drowned' cars and the homes completely submerged.

"12 million dead and $21 billion in damages."

He then let's the pictures run of more countries in chaos as he passively aggressively slams his palms on the table. The table trembling under his weight as he attempted to stare into everyone's soul. But everyone was too tired and sad to be concerned. Baku seeing his braggadocio and Sylvie's hurt feelings feels like she is about to explode. Only calming through her temporary inter-cooler and her instant fuel for a peaceful resolution.

"Care to explain your reasons why your actions are justified?"

"Look man! That man nearly used a godly weapon to incinerate the planet! And then that stupid goo tried to create a black hole on the whole universe! You probably already had seen that! What is wrong with you?!?!?"

Baku stares at him, dreaming of tearing him to pieces just to simmer her down as he retorted, filled with glee and power. "Still this amount of damages are over the roof ROBOT! It is causing more harm than go-"

She seethed in anger hearing that statement as she cuts him off, "WHAT DID YOU JUST CALL ME?!?" The heat intensifying as the cooling system hissed with distrust.

"But didn't you admitted you were a robot earl-"

"SHUT. UP."

She stared at Derek grumpily as she looks at the well suited man, completely oblivious to the universal threat.

"As the governor of Sector C, and probably the entirety of Oflip now, I have a huge responsibility now. Britain, America and Germany may still be debating on our country's control, but they need answers, just like everyone else," he adjusted his tie as he continued, smirking at his idea which Baku hated, "Which is why for all of you, your pay would be severed and you all are now on probation. Where you will answer only to the top brass and nobody else."

"Woah! Screw you Guy Nammer!" Derek stood up defiantly as he points at the man who made such a decision.

"I have merely been a hostage here who only helped because of my horny brother actions! Now you are telling me I have to help them? What kind of audacity is this?!? Fuck you I'm leaving."

He jumped from his chair as he stormed past Guy and left the room, filled with blatant disregard for his language and attitude. Stomping his feet as he heads to the lobby.

"Anyone else?"

He looks at the rest. Staring at them. Hardly hiding his expression to their faces, aggressively hoping they would not leave. His anger nearly visible from the dark shade of his glasses. The shadows from the sun slowly consuming the room and his passiveness.

"Look let's be logical. There are at least 3 people who are still injured, can you at least let them heal first?" Leroy answered, looking at the trio who stared at him as they slowly left as well. Victor still struggling to get up with Baku assistance, still rather bitter about his actions as Guy give them the nod.

"Very well. But the re-"

"I also need to go," Ken raised his hand foolishly as everyone stared at him.

"What is Ken thinking?!?" Leroy thought to himself as he stared at the businessman, thinking he is larger than life.

"I have personal matters to see through alright. It's not just about the girl. I will return very soon once I'm done. Alright?"

Guy looked at his wrist watch, his eyes concentrating on the arrows very movement, polished metal echoed, ticking every second lost as he agreed. Giving him a slight nod as he slowly left. Although from his face alone, it was clear to everyone that he was grumpy, annoyed that another one had left.

"What kind of rubbish is this? This bloody prankster!" Leroy whispered to Maximilian, filled with as much anger as him as Ken looked away, walking out of view. Probably proud of his stupid achievement. He is probably a free man now.

"All of you now cannot leave," he looks at the rest as the blurry men entered the room. Standing rigid and ready as Leroy scowled. What is going to happen to that poor girl? All of the hopes of treating her now gone. What would she even think of him?

"No more. Any more and we would be understaffed." Guy looks at the group as Leroy continues to pound himself. All of the care wasted for the top brass.

"Bring them to their new headquarters. Get them prepared," He looks at them stone cold as they are ushered out like criminals. Pushing them along in their place. Their valiant efforts completely undermined by their actions. Completely out of touch.

"If our treatment was like this, what has happened to Shane and Sergio?" Shao Lin asked herself quietly, frowning how little care the top brass really cared for the people on the front lines. Them. Unable to believe that the corruption is still as bright as day. She looks at the man one last time, furrowing her eyebrows at his choices and lack of disregard for others as he coldly closes the glass door.

He wanders silently to his phone, grinning at his choices, it will after all benefit everyone. He looks down at the smoke from the impact. Riots still happening in the streets, seemingly unstoppable as his reaches for his sleek and shiny black screen hiding in his pocket.

"Hello. It's time we gather everyone to talk."

I wonder if Victor had realized how carrying a large spaceship through the city isn’t a good idea...
