Decisions

Victor stated hesitantly, wondering where the duo is at the moment. They stated they would be back very soon for what seemed like dinner. But as he looks at the large Grandfather Clock by the kitchen, he wonders if they had accidentally screwed themselves over. The 80s decor barely taking the tense mood off his mind with neon lighting of Oflip's golden age. Even though it seemed like he was at a bar with stools laying across the working kitchen table covered with dark wood. The bright warm lighting seemingly welcomed him despite his short-term stay.

He thought about it but it didn't matter, he doesn't know what they were actually doing nor is he eligible to go back to work with his colleagues, none of whom had contacted him since. As he sat relaxed, thinking about the Revel offered to be repaired, he watches Tamel, still cooking their meal. The aroma of the fish blasted through the room like a beautiful smell of roses and vanilla. Tickling his still weak stomach which demanding an ailment to satisfy it's growling, tickling fetish for a meal to heal himself and his growling addiction he once had. Watching intently at the silky fish flicked it's juice about. Swimming with the thin layers of oil as it's skin was cooked to a crunchy crisp.

But even with the smell of what may had been an amazing dish, he still couldn't get over his head the secret about her family. His family. His dirty truth, which was somehow unable to be erased. As he had grown along unwillingly in the organisation. He had learnt a lot about himself. Teaching himself his lost humility, wrecked amongst his bones of lies.

"If she knows..."

He gets upright, covering his slow, burning eyes from the terrible things he had done, now made worse by the amount of times he had either wrecked his machine or himself with his tears carefully controlling itself. Completely unable to sympathise his situation like the government who had been tracking him as of late. Knocking on the gates like unhinged gorillas as he laid awake. A prisoner of his own crime.

"Mama... Papa... will you forgive me?"

At this exact moment, he hears the bell repeatedly pressed for awful amounts of time. The chimes of a small time annoyance began showing a tragic revival of stress. He looks up ahead, watching the still busy butler beginning to get stifled. His sweat running dry of energy with his fish beginning to suck dry. Burning through the ashes from below as retribution.

"I'll get the door."

He looks at Tamel, wandering silently as he turns behind. Trickling down the door slowly with the mortified butler immediately attempted to stop him. Stopping the fire as he watched him struggle to move about after tripping through the long walkways filled with sculptures and artwork over a century ago.

"Don't, I'll get the door."

He shook his head, laying him down slowly by the living room. The couch squeaking under his weight as he slouched, resting from his pain. Still eager to continue to do his work of helping others. As the butler for Sebastian. He is rather impressed by his determination. But even then, he is a hero meant to help the people from tyranny. Although he doesn't necessarily know about their fates after Energy Breaker's and Tremor's arrest. With a sigh of control, he wanders to the camera by the door, cranking open a statue, revealing the video footage of what seemed like a Fiero and a modified Lotus behind both Atsuki and Baku. Although he notices Baku feeling unhinged, holding what seemed like an unconscious Derek in her arms. Beside her was another girl seemingly following them in their adventures. Her cow-boyish appearance completely out of the blue in European soil as he scratched his head. Unable to comprehend how they managed to make it through the checkpoint.

He quickly wanders out, the cold breeze greeting him with a cold massage. Awakening him from his near slumber and carried him like the currents to the gate. On Baku's arms, Derek's face was as pale as night. Absolutely horrified by what seemed like grief. Usual for the events happening around the globe. He turns to his right, spotting the new girl being completely silky in terms of skin with her clothes oddly stuck to her skin like a tortoise shell.

"Who is this?"

He looked at Atsuki, her face uncomfortable from his question, looking as if she wanted to run away badly amid the stares from the realistic slimy oddity, eerily looking at her with concern and boredom. Seemingly hearing such conversation before like it had been a daily occurrence.

"Hi, my name is Bryony... nice to meet you... can I stay at this house for now?" she replied sheepishly at the rather creepily warm man. His face rather unhinged with his eye bags noticeably taking up his whole face. Wondering to herself about the inconvenience for bringing him out. Especially as she stare at the majestically constructed castle too lavish for the mere norm. He looks at her, grumpy at her probable overreaction of fear. Noting to himself how there was barely enough room for her to stay in. But with the rest of the group out and about, he may probably accept.

He sighs, looking at the group as he gestured them in to their delight, still wondering about his decisions when he spots Sebastian by the door. His young, pale face rather muddled with emotion, clearly not not happy to bring strangers into his doorstep with his phone on hand.

"Care to explain where you came from?"

He brought out his phone, what seemed like an old modified Samsung with wires attached in all directions. It was clearly fused with multiple chips and appliances. Messily arranged and seemingly looking like a bomb. In the little that remained of a Samsung, a map of what seemed like high electronic signatures bleeping crazily as he points it directly at the oddity. He wanders closer , pinching her skin as it revealed to be goo. Something he wasn't feeling pleasant to see.

"Ok... you got me..."

She reformed back, each limb separating like melting wax into what seemed like 4 teenagers. Two boys and two girls, each in a different coloured large brown jacket. A far cry of what seemed like a mature woman in her 30s. As they raised their hands up, every voice revealed what seemed like familiar mechanical parts messily attached to their throat, hardly concealing itself. Creeping Baku our as she immediately realised what she was looking at, silently stepping back frightened from the dumbfounded individuals, looking down with remorse. Unable to hide from their problems in what seemed like a warm home in the cold wasteland.

"We are remnants from that machine, with each of us sharing a what remained of the chip, if that is what you were referring to. We aren't here to harm you. But we are here to find some guy named Leroy... also called Hacksaw..."

He looks at them, staring at them conflicted upon hearing their words. His eyes widening and his muddled face now serious as he stood by the door in thought. Concentrated and intensely worried about what may come next from potential undercover officers.

"Leroy is a good person right? If he has been so honest, why does he own the remaining chip from that horrid computer?"

He thought to himself, laying by the door like a statue. Watching silently at the crowded night sky in the city. Full of lights and machine scurrying around like fruit flies in a hot sunny day. But as he silently allows Baku and the stricken Derek to pass. He could only fear what could possibly happen when law enforcement arrive. But as he sees a United Union helicopter close by, Tamel sees a orange spark of frustration and grimness lighting up in his tired, groggily eyes. Unable to think much about his predicament.

"Fine. You can enter. But you must try not to let yourselves seen in public. Promise?"

With a cheerful delight, he looks at the teenagers who silently celebrated by themselves, their mood and thought still oblivious to his eyes as they scrambled in, hoping the food is not burnt with Atsuki and Tamel, disgruntled at his choice, rushing out to bring in the cars. Hiding in the cover of darkness that barely aided them in the moonlight.. With a fear of his decision, he looks out once again, looking at the skyline and the looming building of the new head quarters of The Light of Men. Wondering what other secrets the large organisation were hiding.

I wonder what Leroy is thinking at the moment...
