Cruel Thesis

"This is all I have craved for!" Sergio spoke on a loud speaker. Sounding not like her, but a rather cursed entity (Though Shane knew that it had to be her). Its red eyes glowing in the storm. Several parts emerging to emit a loud cloudy hiss, to mostly emit heat but it sounded like a snake hissing. Prepared for war. The storm, now pouring down on them, paired with lightning and thunder didn't help, making the robot look more menacing than before. Sylvie looked on once again. She wasn't a nerd when it comes to anime and manga before The Great War. But she definitely recognized the robot to be similar to Eva unit 03. Now featuring threads from its vehicle mode and two medieval swords, its chest held what looks like a laser gun. A jet pack is also fixed onto its back as it flew up into the air like a godly figure amongst others. "Now watch me. Your beliefs shall be crushed by reality! Lyx has truly bestowed upon me what is needed to be done this whole time. Earth must be cleansed to truly save itself!" She made a crude laugh as the machine screeched at the top of its lungs.

"Great. That thing has a name..." Shane grumpily looked at her now, completely changed friend as she charged at Victor who braced for impact with its katana. Sure her robot was three times larger than his robot, but size means nothing. As she approached however, he quickly freaked out, flying out of her way as she launched a huge ray of light, tearing apart cars, houses and a hospital.

The devastation was immense. It felt like a carver carving deeply through the wood. Except it was terribly done and now made on a section of the city. The smell of metal melting and gas leaking filled the air with Victor spotting 'ants' laying motionless on top of the rubble. She hoped that they would concentrate on helping others. But they stood their ground as day turned into darkness in the huge torrent of rain

Victor activated the system on his robot and charged again, this time trying to fool her into making a mistake. However, just as he reached her, he spots several after images of her grey robot whizzing past. He was screwed. He turns around, trying to defend, but the controls for his right arm was not responding. He looks to his right to see his right arm cut off crudely from the toughness of his armor. Falling close to their van. Through the machine's tip, he boosts ahead, thankful that his boosters and legs are still in good condition as he turns the robot around and launch two of his missiles, stunning her robot on impact.

"Mild EMP rounds seems to do the job," Victor told himself, though the damage however was less than stellar. There was not even a scratch on the paint.

Sylvie within no time quickly extended plants nearby to pin her. However she was disappointed as Sergio spared no effort at all, destroying the vines in an instant as she created a huge earthquake. Flinching everyone else.

Maximilian sighed. Must he have to do this again? Especially at a colleague? He shook his head and flexed his muscles, now increasing in size into a large pile of iron. Preparing for battle with his stretches. However to his dismay, the people running away from the battle stopped to cheer him on, now as Iron Face. Though their cheers and support made him happy.

Shane rolls her eyes as she launch herself. Creating a sudden burst of wind that shocked Sergio as the robot began to lurch forward.

The onlookers began to bicker amongst themselves as to her identity. Her sudden surge of power was unheard of amongst the well known special squadrons. But then again she knew her popularity wasn't the best since she was only selected to be a part of the special squads two days ago. Maximilian, who had finished stretching began to charge. The people cheering him on as Leroy tries to evacuate them. They know that when he starts, he never stops till its done.

He leaped into the air, though not as high as Shane as he carried a huge punch that lurched the falling Evangelion unit back, Sergio boosting away in response. Her turret launching to form two large funnels, surprising everyone as she began to reek havoc on the civilians.

"No you don't!" Victor looked on, launching his funnels to counter her very own funnels as she struck a huge hit on the group cheering on Maximilian earlier.

"This is where your escape ends!" She launched another ray of light, shredding huge chunks of the highway and nearby houses into a huge inferno, sending civilians into a frenzy to escape.

Leroy glares at Derek, who was frightened and still wondering what is he doing amongst her group and why he wasn't getting what he wanted, begin to quickly began to usher the other civilians away together from the blast site as Sylvie and Shao Lin rushes in to check for survivors. Quickly spraying down the raging fire, checking for burns and injuries. They all know however was that the casualties were on the rise and they need to take her down fast. As her funnels get destroyed, she pulls out her large automatic pistol, spraying at the group as Baku who has had enough, transformed her arms to form a large fiery cannon, shooting large concentrated fiery beam at the head. It's eye began to shatter as parts of the face melted. They now know who truly can beat this monster of a creation.

Maximilian, Shane and Shao Lin who had managed to put out huge sections of the fire well enough for Sylvie to work, nodded to each other as they ran towards her. With Victor providing support with his funnels and shotgun, Max and Shane quickly rocked the ground, causing her to trip as Shao Lin created a large pool of water from the now huge storm, crashing in on her robot as it began to hiss and scream. It struggled to stand up, all of its systems failing as it stood crouching.

Baku quickly formed a larger beam cannon, now featuring more 'heat', shot out two huge shots. They both scored a home run as the jet pack simultaneously exploded, her legs melted into a pool of murky liquid. Sergio struggled to move, struggling to see the person in the now broken monitor who shot her. She watched as Victor slapped her using his torn off arm, causing her to fall down.

The devil has fallen.

She quickly ejected from her cockpit, the rough tarmac scratching her as she landed on her side. Watching as Shane, with her group behind her, looking more sinister than ever before, punched her neck. The blob this time attempted to gain control of Shane, sliding out of Sergio's neck and trying its best to climb up her slippery arm. It was also this time that she managed to punch the air so hard that it ignited it, burning quickly as the rain and cool breeze calmed her nerves.

"We must go!" Leroy shouts in the rain as she carries Sergio by her arms to the back of the vehicle. Police cars, fire trucks and ambulances all rushing to the site. With Sylvie opting to sit in the robot, they moved on, away from Sector A to safety. Hopeful that he is there.
