Moving into the Dorms and Creating Ultimate Moves

The next morning, society was in a state of Chaos. Everyone heard about the Kamino incident and your father retired from his career. After that, you met up with Todoroki and Yaoyorozu, and went to the police station with Katsuki. The both of you were quiet the whole way there. In your mind, you believe that your father's retirement is your fault. Due to the encounters with Tomura Shigaraki and the League of Villians, the students of UA are now going to be living in dormitories on campus. Some of the parents and guardians of the students were against the idea for obvious reasons, but the teachers were able to convince them.

On the day you and your friends moved into the new UA dormitories, Heights Alliance, you were amazed at how huge the dorms were.

"First of all, Class 1-A..." Mr. Aizawa spoke. "What's more important than anything is that you all have gathered together again safely."

"Looks like everyone got permission, huh?" Said Sero.

Hagakure sighed. "It was hard trying to convince my parents..."

"I suppose it would be, for most people..." Jiro points out.

"You two did directly suffer harm from the gas, after all." Ojiro adds.

"The same goes for you, Mr. Aizawa!" Tsu spoke up. "I'm just relieved that you made it back here with us, too. After watching that interview, I thought you might not be able to come back. I was really sad and worried..."

You and Ochaco agreed.

"... It's surprising to me as well." Mr. Aizawa replied. "Well... a hell of a lot happened, that's for sure." He claps his hands together. "Now then...! I'm going to give you all a quick briefing in regards to the dorms. But before that, just one thing... it's true that the plan was for you to earn "Provisional Hero Licenses" after the training camp. But you didn't get them, so why were some of you walking around acting like you did?"

Now that you think about it, you did remember your teacher saying something about those before you got kidnapped.

"What I'm about to say is important, so listen up. Todoroki. Kirishima. Midoriya. Yaoyorozu. Iida. You five were present on that evening at Kamino... you took it upon yourselves to proceed towards the site of Yagi and Bakugou's rescue."

All of your classmates tensed up.

"From the looks of things, all of your classmates understand the weight of your behavior in deciding to go there. A lot of things have been postponed in light of everything that happened, but I'll say this now. If it weren't for All Might's sudden retirement... with the exception of Yagi, Bakugou, Jiro and Hagakure, I would have you all expelled as punishment." Everyone stayed quiet. The wind blew as your teacher continued. "For the five perpetrators I mentioned, it goes without saying, but... the same punishment applies for the other twelve of you who were aware of their actions and did nothing to stop them. Regardless of the reason, the fact that you all betrayed our trust doesn't change." Aizawa turns his back to you and walked toward your new dorm. "That is all! Now, let's head in with smiles on our faces and lots of energy!"

How is everyone supposed to smile and be full of energy after that? Everyone looked so sad. It never occurred to you that your friends might get expelled for saving you... you're very thankful that they went out of their way to save you, but you've caused everyone so much trouble for being the daughter of All Might and Hope. Suddenly, Katsuki grabs Kaminari by the collar and dragged him to a bush. Electricity comes from behind it and Kaminari reappears in his stupid phase. While your classmates laughed, Katsuki walks up to Kirishima.

"Kirishima." He pulls out a large amount of cash from his pocket and  both yours and Kirishima's eyes nearly bulged out of your heads.

"Huh!? Money?!" You exclaimed in disbelief.

"Did you shake Kaminari down for cash or something!?" Kirishima questioned.

"No! This my money, you damn idiot!" Katsuki denied. "It's to replace the goggles you spent!"

Kirishima gaped in surprise. "Uh. How'd you know I bought night vision goggles?"

Katsuki shoves the money into Kirishima's hand and heads into the dorm. "Don't say I never gave you anything. Now I'm not in your debt. Kaminari, show 'em your dumb side."

Everyone laughed at Kaminari and you and Kirishima smiled at Katsuki. Kirishima offered to treat your classmates to barbecue as you also headed inside the dorm.

"You're not gonna go with them?" Katsuki asks.

"No." You hesitantly answered. "I would rather check out our new dorm."

The truth was that you felt like you shouldn't hang out with your friends. You still felt guilty about, everything that's happened. If you didn't lose that locket, if you hadn't been captured by villians... then none of this would've happened. Katsuki stopped you from entering the dorm by grabbing your wrist. He drags you towards your classmates.

"Hey, Kirishima! Hikari's coming, too!"

You gaped at your boyfriend and started to protest. "Hey, wait! I just said that I wasn't going--"

Katsuki interrupts you. "Shut up and go, dumbass."

You stared at Katsuki for a second and smiled. "I'll only go if you come, too."

Katsuki's eyes widened and he blushes while scratching the back of his head. "Fine."

After you and your classmates came back, Mr. Aizawa gave you a brief on your dorms. The dorms are one class per building. Boys and girls are separated by wing. The right wing is for the girls, and the boys' wing is on the left. The first floor is the common space where the dining area, baths, and laundry facilities can be found here. It's spacious with sofas, and there's even a courtyard. There are a total of five floors. On each floor, there are two groups of four rooms; half for boys and half for girls, up to the fifth floor. Each of you get your own private room. Each room comes with an AC unit, a bathroom, a refrigerator, a closet and a veranda. It's quite a luxurious space. Your room was on the fourth floor next to Ashido's room. After you all were done unpacking and arranging your rooms, you decided to have a room showcasing competition. You were tired, but you were also curious about what your classmates' dorm rooms look like. Your room had a daybed, yoga equipment, a bookshelf with romance manga and a unfinished scrapbook, and a dresser. Your desk has a picture of you and your parents, a few notebooks, and tablet with apps that let's you read romance genres and eroticas. On your wall is a hero calender, a poster of the Wild Wild Pussycats, a poster of the No°1 American Hero named Stars and Stripes, warm white wall lights, and a cork board. On your bed are the cat stuffed animal and wolf stuffed animal that Katsuki gave you. When Mineta started to look inside your underwear drawer, you kicked everyone out and made sure to literally throw Mineta out. In the end, you and the girls voted for Sato because of the delicious cake he made.

The next day, you went on with normal school-like stuff.

"As I mentioned yesterday, our first objective will be earning Provisional Hero Licenses for you all." Mr. Aizawa announced. "A hero license, in essence, grants you permission to directly intervene when peoples' lives are at stake. This qualification carries an immense weight. And this goes without saying, but the examination required to earn a license is extremely strict. It is a provisional license, but even having said that, the pass rate of this exam, year to year, is less than 5%."

"Just for a provisional license, it's that tough?" Mineta asks nervously.

"And that is why, from today onwards, we'll be having each of you come up with at least two of..."

"Your very own Ultimate Moves!" Midnight finishes as she enters the classroom with Cementoss and Ectoplasm.

"Finally!! Some cool hero-like curriculum!" Your classmates cheered.

"Ultimate moves!" Ectoplasm spoke. "In other words, the techniques that will assure your victory!"

"These techniques must be deeply ingrained in who you are." Cementoss points out. "Techniques that do not satisfy that requirement will not be allowed. To battle means to leverage one's own unique strengths."

"These techniques become symbols of who you are!" Midnight adds. "Nowadays, professional heroes without their own special moves are like an endangered species."

"We'll go into the specifics with you all shortly with live exercises." Aizawa said. "Go change into your costumes. We'll meet at Gamma Gym."

After changing into your costume, you all went to Gamma Gym... which is more commonly known as... the Training Dream Land. Put short, TDL!!! This is where the magic happens!

"This facility is of my own devising..." Cementoss says. "Here, I am able to prepare terrains and training objects personalized for each and every one of you students! Hence... dreamland."

So cool.

Iida raises his hand. "If I could ask a question! Why are Ultimate moves necessary to obtain a provisional license? Please enlighten us with that context!!"

"I'll explain it to you step-by-step. Chill out." Aizawa replies. "Incidents, accidents, disasters, human calamities... it is the job of a hero to rescue people from all types of trouble. Naturally, the exam for the license is designed to measure that aptitude. Information gathering. Judgement. Mobility. Fighting skills. And in addition, communication skills, charm, and leadership. Every year the exam content changes to test these different aptitudes."

"But among them, fighting skills is a heavily weighted consideration for heroes." Midnight adds. "They say that being well-prepared means no worries! Having such techniques in your arsenal will greatly affect your chances of success."

"If instead of being controlled by the situation, you are able to bring stability to the situation..." Cementoss states. "That is a mark of a hero's true fighting ability."

"Not all Ultimate moves are for offensive purposes either." Ectoplasm spoke. "For example, Yagi's Steam Veil. To be able to hide your presence by covering a large area... that in itself is an impressive ability worthy of being called a special move."

You bashfully looked down as you felt your classmates' eyes on you. You didn't expect to be praised for your Steam Veil. It felt good.

"I see..." Sato says while glancing at you. "So it's really about drawing from your natural strengths to create something that will give you a leg up in a fight."

"Exactly!" Midnight confirmed. "The lacquered chains prison used by Kamui Woods... is a perfect example. It's easy to understand, too."

"Before it was abruptly brought to an end, one of the objectives of the training camp was "Quirk Development"... that was referring to this process of creating your ultimate moves." Mr. Aizawa mentions.

Cementoss makes large pillars of cement in different heights, and Ectoplasm creates multiple clones of himself that stood on each pillar.

"In other words, between now and the start of the next school term... in the remaining ten days we have of summer break, we're going to strengthen your Quirks and work out your ultimate moves... a boot camp! In addition, with the development of your Quirks and the nature of your abilities in mind... consider the ways in which your costumes can also be improved. Let the spirit of plus ultra take you to new heights. Are you ready?"

"Heck, yeah!" Kaminari cheered. "I'm pumped up!!"

For four days, you and your classmates trained in TDL in order to perfect your ultimate moves. You decided to change your hero costume, too. Your hero costume is fire proof and water proof, obviously, and is now a black sleeveless button dress with a red leather jacket. You're wearing black arm bracers and black stocking with black combat boots. You also added a black domino mask and around your neck is a heart shaped locket that Katsuki gave you during your time on I-Island.

You stared down at the large cement wall in front of you. You got into a karate stance, took a deep breath and thrust your arm forward in a punching motion.

"Sunflower Fist Thrust!" Your flames shot through your fist and created a large hole. You smiled, but then the wall broke and fell. It was going to land on your father!

"Dad!" You shouted

"Hey, watch out!" Katsuki called out.

Just then, Izuku shows up and smashed the broken wall to smaller pieces with one kick.

"Are you okay, All Might?!" Izuku asks your father.

"What was that, Midoriya?!" Kaminari asks as he and Eijiro ran up to Izuku. "That was a lot of destructive force!"

"I thought you were the punching-type.." Eijiro points out.

"Kaminari, Kirishima," Izuku lifts his leg up and feels the black soles on his feet. "That destructive force is all thanks to these soles that Hatsume came up with. Iida gave me some pointers on how to move around with them. I've changed up my style. All I've really done is settle on a direction, so this is really more of a stopgap... not something you could call an ultimate move."

"Not at all!" Your father replies. "It'll probably be more effective than just a stopgap. Especially in the provisional license exam."

'All Might!" Mr. Aizawa steps forward. "It's a bit dangerous, so you might want to keep your distance."

"Yeah, I know." Your father looks up at you. "Sweetheart! Sorry about that!"

You opened your mouth to respond, but then you glanced at Izuku Midoriya. You turned away and went back to training without saying anything. Your felt guilty for ending your father's career and you can't help but feel this burning resentment towards your childhood friend, Izuku Midoriya. Worst of all, you hated yourself for being too scared to talk to your parents about AFO and Izuku about whatever he and your father has kept from you. You just hoped that these negative feelings won't prevent you from passing the provisional license exam.

Later that night, you sat in the common space with the girls.

Mina let out a long heavy sigh as she leaned on the sofa. "Every day has been so tough..."

Kyoka stretches. "They're not putting on appearances when they call it a boot camp, huh."

"We've got less than a week left, so it makes sense." You said as you sat down next to Ochaco with a bottle of water.

"Hikari, how are your ultimate moves coming along?" Toru asked.

"Well, I already have a few in my arsenal, and I've been coming up with more." You leaned forward and looked at Tsuyu. "What about you, Tsuyu?"

"I'm in the process of completing a more frog-like technique." She answered. "I bet you'll be surprised, Hikari."

You sat back to normal. "What about you, Ochaco?"

Your rosey cheeked friend didn't reply. She just sipped her carton of milk with a mellow expression.

Tsuyu taps Ochaco shoulder, causing her to jump and almost spill her milk.

"Are you okay? You seem a little tired."

Ochaco shook her head. "No, no, not at all! I'm not tired at all. I've still got a long ways to go!" She looks down and smiles shyly. "At least that's how I should feel, but... how do I put it... lately my heart's been feeling a little bit jumbled up."

Your eyes widened and you looked at Mina who was grinning.

"You're in love." You and Mina said at the same time.

Ochaco blushed furiously and waves her arms around in protest. "Wh-what?! Love?! What are you talking about?!"

"Is it Midoriya, or is it Iida?!" Ashido eagerly interrogates. "You're with them a lot, aren't you?!"

Feeling embarrassed, Ochaco accidentally makes herself float as she tries to deny her feelings. You grabbed her before she could continue to float away.

"It's alright, Ochaco!" You giggled out as you helped her down. "After the provisional license exam, we can talk about the guys we're in love with together! Just the two of us!"

"No! Y-you got it all wrong, Himawari!"

"Don't worry, Uravity. I won't tell Izuku!" You got close to her face and whispered. "Plus, maybe you and I can have a double date. Me and Katsuki, and You and Izuku!"

Ochaco stares at you and blushes so much that she could be a cherry. She stops blushing and gives you a soft expression.

"Himawari... did you and Deku get into a fight?"

you flinched at her question and your smile dropped. Silence filled the room as the rest of the girls stared at you and Ochaco.

You laughed nervously and forced a smile. "W-what makes you say that...?"

"I feel like you've been avoiding him. Did something happen...?"

You feigned ignorance. "I have no idea what you're talking about. There's no problem between us." You snatched your bottled water from the table and headed to leave. "Anyway, I'm really tired, so I'll see you girls in the morning. Bye!"

The girls said good night and you can feel their sad gaze as you left. You obviously can't tell them about why you're so upset. Not only are you too ashamed to talk about it, but you also didn't want to drag them into it. This can't go on forever. You have to talk to your dad and Izuku about this before you go insane!

To Be Continued....
