Chapter~1

~~Your POV~~

I walked to the school gym for volleyball practice the cold breeze hit my skin my h/c hair  flew around my face "y/n!" I stopped and turned around to see my boyfriend running towards me "oh hay Oikawa" I waved my hand at him "you going to volleyball practice?" He started to jog towards me "Yeah. You?" He smiled and put an arm around me "I'm gonna watch you practice" he smiled and leaned in and kissed my cheek "O-Oikawa!" I felt my blood rush to my cheeks "oh sorry princess I should have asked" "it's fine. Lets go before I'm late" me and Oikawa walked towards the gym.

We reached the gym and Oikawa took his arm off of my shoulders and opened the door for me "m'lady" he bowed and smirked up at me I giggled and walked into the gym "hay girls let's get this practice over and done with!" I shout "yes captain!" The girls shout back.

~~after practice~~

"Okay that's all for today let's pack up and go home good work girls!" I smiled towards them "yes ma'am!" They smiled back and started to clean up I turned around to look for Oikawa but he wasn't there I decided to look out side for him I walked around the gym outside and saw him and one of my teammates making out my heart broke into peaces they pulled away then he saw me "y-y/n" he stuttered as he let go of her.

I felt tears running down my face "YOU JURK I THOUGHT YOU WAS MY SOULMATE I GUESS I WAS WRONG ABOUT YOU WE'RE OVER!" I ran away from them hearing Oikawa calling my name.

~~2 weeks later~~

Hi there I'm y/n l/n I'm 17 years old and I don't have a soulmate everyone is born with a string of there soulmate's favourite colour attached to there pinkie and when you find your soulmate the string on your pinkie it connects together but I wasn't born with a string when you get older you start to have dreams about them so you know a little bit about them and when you're still looking for them you get to see bits of their face like hair colour, eye colour, eta but I've only had one it was about a boy playing volleyball and he was a setter and they had this adorable laugh and that's all I know about them.

And of course my brain thought it was Oikawa but I guess I was wrong.

"Y/n are you up?" A voice came from outside my room I got up rubbing my sleep deprived eyes "yeah I'm up" ever since that day I didn't go to school "Are you gonna go to school today?" I opened the door "sure I guess oh by the way I'll be coming home early from school today mom" my mom looked at my worriedly "you have bags around your eyes have you been sleeping well?" She put her hand on my cheek and thumbs it gently I nodded my head "I've been sleeping well" I removed her hand off of my cheek and walked away from her.

I got down stairs and walked into the kitchen my dad was sitting at the table eating some toast as he looked at the newspaper he looked up "oh good morning sweetie" I smiled and walked over to the table and got some toast then my mom walked into the kitchen "darling I've put you lunch with you bag" she smiled at my dad "thank you darling" he looked up at the clock "oh I've got to go now" he got up from his chair walked over and gave me a hug and whispered in my ear "cheer up sweetheart you'll find one soon" he pulled away and smiled at me sweetly I smiled back.

He walked over to my mom and kissed her "well I've got to go see you later ladies" he walked out of the house leaving the door shut by it's self my mom looked over at me "go get dressed sweetheart and get this day all over and done with" she said sweetly I hummed at went up stairs to get change.

~~after school~~

I was walking out of the school until "y/n!" I didn't stop walking until I felt something around my wrist "please listen to me please I can change just let me have one last chance" I hear a desperate Oikawa begging for my forgiveness I turned around "get your hand off of me" I growled he backed away a little bit I felt anger building up "I SAID GET YOUR HAND OFF OF ME!" I pulled my hand a way and slapped him.

Oikawa stumble back as he held his cheek I saw tears running down his face I turned away from him and walked away "Y/N PLEASE WAIT I STILL LOVE YOU!" This made me snap "YOU LOVE ME? DON'T MAKE ME LAUGH IF YOU REALLY LOVED ME YOU WOULDN'T HAVE BEEN KISSING ONE OF MY TEAMMATES!" I felt the urge to punch him but held back "don't ever talk to me ever again" I tried to keep my anger down "please... give me another chance to redeem myself" he cried I didn't answer back all I did was walk away from him.

~~at your house~~

I was sat at the table with my family as we ate our food my dad cleared his throat "Umm I've got some good news" me and my mom looks at him "I've been promoted" my mom's face lit up "that's grate darling" my dad blushed a little "but we have to move" the room fell silent.
