Chapter 6

Jack waited for me to calm down and then said "You don't need to feel sorry and you don't have to be afraid. I will not send you back to the elven kingdom, you will stay here with me. Don't forget you are in the kingdom of beasts now, here everyone is equal. But why did you want to learn magic and what about your father, why didn't he help you and your mom."

"I don't know who my father is, my mom told me that he raped her just becouse he had money. As to why I wanted to learn magic, I wanted to have something, that would help me protect myself. Afterall I'm just a half bread.", was my reply.

"Why do you say your only a half bread?" he asked "You are a beautiful woman, just becouse your parents are from different races, doesn't mean that you are worth nothing. But I'm interested what races did your parents had."

"My mother was human, and she said that my father was an elve.", I said. After we ate the cake and finished the tee, Jack brought me back to the room I was staying at the moment.

When I was alone I thought about a few things, but most of the time my thoughts where about Jack. Why is he so nice to me, what is it about him that makes me feel alive?

Jack is a handsome man, he has balck hair, ruby red eyes and he is nearly as pale as I am. He seems very strong and he is just so nice. I truly can't understand him, he is rich, but he does not treat me bad. Everything I knew about how rich people behave, he does the opposite.

Jack's pov

What is wrong with the elven kingdom, why are they treating the poor people so bad... Does the king know about how his people are treating the poor...

And Derek, the man who I found together with Eve, how dare he lied to me, I need to question him again and then he will be punished..

"Lucius I want you to come with me, your magic will help me to find out the truth!" I said.

And like always when I want something from him he is by my side as soon as I say his name.

"My lord, you called me", he said respectfull, while he bowed to me.

"Lucius we will question Derek again, you will place a truth spell on him. I will not be lied to again. And when I find out that he lied to me, I will show no mercy..." I said while trying to control my anger.

"As you wish my lord" Lucius replied with a small bow.
