Chapter 8: The Humans Emissaries

Two days had passed since Simon awakened his talents. Thanks to the help from his grandfather, whom Simon still didn't know about, news began to circulate in the kingdom of Agadez. They said that Simon, Lana's child, had awakened a powerful SSS+ Rank talent; he could even see into the past; he had had a vision concerning the convoy that had suddenly disappeared, having been absorbed by a spatial rift, something like a portal, and they weren't in immediate danger.

The elven community is not vast due to the fact that elves are creatures that do not reproduce as easily as humans; an elf may not even have children after more than 100 years of marriage.

Today, the emissaries sent by King Elandor arrived at the elven kingdom because they could not use spatial magic to teleport due to the restrictions of the enchantments.

The humans who had come had a somewhat arrogant air; the human society now had a slight advantage over the elven society after all because they have an awakened with an SSS+ rank talent, while the elves, who were already few in number, had already lost an elite group mysteriously, although they blamed it on humans and said it was a trap from the humans wanting to weaken the kingdom of Agadez.

Seeing how the person who seemed to be the leader of the convoy appeared a little arrogant with his nose a little high and a little disdain, the Elder, more precisely old Edan, found it funny.

Edan burst into laughter: "Hahaha."

The only reason they were not in total war was because of the fear of a possible invasion from other continents once they started the war that would consume them since the two kingdoms have about the same strength. If Mangou managed to realize her talent, the balance of their strength that was almost equal would tilt towards the humans, who would not hesitate to start the war knowing that they would win.
