Chapter 6: Talent Awakening

The atmosphere began to change as Simon awakened his talent, with some strange phenomena occurring, like things suddenly materializing before disappearing just as suddenly.

For the elf priests present at Simon's awakening ceremony, the sudden materialization and disappearance of things was a little strange, leading them to think that Simon might awaken a talent related to creation. The sudden eruption of magical energy during Simon's talent awakening was surprising, as the mana surrounding the environment became more and more active.

As magical energies flourished around him, the elf sages felt a deep connection with nature, an affinity that far surpassed that of ordinary elves.

Simon's vision ended when the group of people was absorbed into the spatial rift. At the same time, he had some idea about who they might be.

Simon didn't know about the phenomenon that happened during his awakening. He was a little curious about what kind of talent he might awaken, especially after the image he had just seen. He thinks his talent should have something to do with vision, but he also feels a sensation within him, as if he were capable of creating something.

Simon stood nearby, watching with fascination as the ritual unfolded before him. He felt an electric tension in the air as the priests focused, their faces filled with devotion and concentration.

One of the sages or priests, the Doyen, who is the oldest and wisest of the group, began murmuring ancient incantations, invoking the powers of the stele to help determine Simon's awakened talent.

Then, each of the priests silently shared their observations and impressions of the magical manifestations they had noticed during the awakening ceremony. They mentally transmitted this information to the stele, which absorbed the data with a flickering glow.

Once the priests had finished, Simon stepped forward to the stele, feeling a thrill of anticipation run down his spine. He placed his hand on the polished surface of the stele, focusing on transmitting his own sensations and impressions of his new powers.

The stele seemed to vibrate under his palm, reacting to the magic flowing through him. Luminous patterns danced along its surface, resembling lightning in a night sky. For a few moments that seemed like an eternity, the stele absorbed Simon's data, merging his impressions with those of the priests to form a clear image of his awakened talent.

Finally, with a dazzling burst of light, the stele revealed two texts.

Simon was surprised to have awakened two talents, but the most surprising thing was when he saw the introductions and effects of his talents. He knew he had hit the jackpot. Even though he had been indifferent in his last life, he became a little more cheerful due to the love of his new mother. He wanted to dance on the spot but eventually calmed down and continued to appear cool.

As for the elf priests, their eyes widened, their expressions filled with a mixture of admiration, respect, and slight apprehension. They exchanged meaningful glances, silently communicating their surprise and incredulity at the power of Simon's talents.

The oldest priest, the Doyen who had led the ceremony with wisdom and calmness, was the first to break the silence. His voice trembled slightly with emotion as he addressed Simon with words of praise.

"My brothers, my sisters," he solemnly declared, "we have witnessed something extraordinary today. This young child's talents far surpass anything we have ever seen before. It is our duty to protect him for the future of our race because if the rumor were to spread that a member of our kingdom has awakened the EX rank talent that was considered a myth, our kingdom will definitely be annihilated by all the races from the different continent who would join forces in fear of the possible power once the potential of the talent is fully developed."

After giving them time to apprehend things more clearly, he continued, "It is from this perspective that I present for the good of our race to hide Simon's second talent among us and never spread it, but not to make our race appear weak compared to the prodigy of the human kingdom, now 12 years old, we will pass the message that a member of the tribe named Simon has awakened the Eye of Wisdom, an SSS+ rank talent, which will make humans think at least twice before a possible conflict since we will all have an SSS+ rank warrior as an asset."

The other priests nodded solemnly, understanding the importance of this decision for the survival of their people. They pledged to protect Simon's secret with their lives, recognizing the responsibility that lay upon them in this crucial mission.

Simon also understood the situation he was in but did not remain silent; he asked the priest, "I thought I had a vision during the awakening of my talent, and I think I can understand what it is about, but not to make a mistake, I would like to know if it is possible for you to show me the projection of the convoy that had lost contact."
