Chapter 11: Second Generation or Third generation of rich

Actually, the reason Simon hasn't started creating things like weapons for combat and military use was to give his mother some peace of mind. Even in a world of power and magic where human children can begin learning to fight at the age of four after awakening their talent, Simon can be sure his mother will never be happy to see him start creating weapons.

During the time he was creating the magical photographic crystal, Simon learned a new use for his SS+ Wisdom Eye talent. This talent doesn't really concern time like slowing down time or seeing the future or past, but as the name suggests, Wisdom Eye, it literally allows understanding of a lot. For example, when he creates iron, wisdom shows information about the iron and some indications of how it can be used.

When conducting experiments, the wisdom eyes give him indications of the success chances of the operation, which helped him create a magical photographic crystal. Simon was only intending to create a technological camera, but ended up creating something even the best cameramen and directors dream of.

Simon was thinking of creating three inventions that can be used in everyday life as training before entering the big game and becoming strong. Although the photographic crystal is a new invention that didn't exist and is really practical, there are still people who can simply project what they have seen or an illusion of it and then paint it, especially among the Elves who are gifted with an artistic talent in their very essence.

Simon plans to create it to give people, especially the human race who will benefit from his next invention, a little taste. His next invention is something that almost all elves will consider practical and that humans will have something considered rare.

Simon is sure he can earn a stream of gold coins with that even though he can simply create gold, especially since gold is useful for magicians as it is very conductive in magic and therefore is a very good magical material, but Simon knows that if he simply creates gold, then he will simply lower its value.

After his mother finished taking many photos of everything she wants and played like a child receiving a new toy, she suggested to Simon, "why not register your creation in the Tower of Stars if you want to legalize the sale of your new invention? Especially since you should go there sooner or later."

Simon understands what she means; you can earn a star by creating a new type of magic or creating a new tool that examiners will consider useful. Simon understood what his mother is trying to say; she wants to help him not waste time and get his second star at the same time.

You get a star just by awakening a talent of Rank A or higher, so Simon could get two stars at once. However, Simon thinks it's better that he finish inventing the other two inventions he had planned to register them at the same time.

He must go to the Tower of Stars to confirm that he has awakened a talent of Rank SSS+ before getting the star. As for his inventions, he must also register and show the details of how they work and the utility of all his inventions that examiners will judge if they are worthy of allowing him to obtain stars.

He replied, "I don't think I'll go to the Tower of Stars, I have two inventions that I haven't finished, I'll leave once finished, I wouldn't like to waste my time on that." Simon hadn't noticed anything during the ceremony apart from the fact that the old man had shown a little more emotion when learning the news about the absentees, but if you think about it, it would be strange for an old man over 1000 years old to not be able to hide his feelings.

Having heard the news, he replied, "I'll inform him once I finish the invention." After chatting for a bit, Simon returned to his room already starting to visualize his new creation, since he already has experience with photos and the principle is almost the same.

Once Simon returned to his room, Lana immediately thought to share Simon's new creation, which she seems to find fascinating, with the elven community. Unlike Simon, who thinks the photographic crystal isn't really useful because elves are themselves naturally painters, she knows, however, that painting is just entertainment for elves, they don't really paint much. This is also one of the reasons why Simon has never seen photos of his father, but once the photo is simply taken, there is no need to waste time waiting.
