Ch 14: Continents and Moving in

Serena's POV

We are currently getting ready to go to a remote area in Aeldrith. Oh now that I think about it, I haven't yet explained the 4 continents here in Elaris, have I?

The four continents—Aeldrith, Darost, Tylgath, and Vulmara—stand as pillars of harmony, each contributing its unique essence to a thriving global balance.

Aeldrith: The Luminous Land

Aeldrith is a continent of endless light and inspiration, known for its verdant landscapes and glittering cities built on principles of enlightenment and creativity. Its forests glow with bioluminescent flora, and rivers sparkle under perpetual auroras.

Aeldrith is the birthplace of innovation, its people excelling in arts, magic, and philosophy. The continent's harmony with nature fosters a deep respect for life, making it a center for diplomacy and cultural exchange.

Darost: The Stone Sentinel

Darost is a rugged and mountainous land, its peaks crowned with eternal snow and its valleys alive with fertile soil. Known as the "Heart of Strength," Darostians are master builders and warriors, crafting mighty fortresses and intricate underground cities.

Despite its harsh exterior, Darost pulses with warmth; its people are fiercely loyal and value community above all. The continent's mineral wealth and craftsmanship have long been shared openly, strengthening bonds with its neighbors.

Tylgath: The Veiled Wilds

Tylgath is a continent of mystery, shrouded in dense jungles, vast marshlands, and ancient ruins. Its dense canopies hide the vibrant ecosystems below, teeming with exotic creatures and potent herbs.

The Tylgathians are skilled herbalists, spiritualists, and historians, revered for their deep connection to the world's hidden truths. They are the keepers of ancient knowledge, often sought for their wisdom. Their serene, introspective culture complements the other continents' vigor.

Vulmara: The Ocean's Embrace

Vulmara is an archipelagic continent scattered across a vast azure ocean, its islands linked by intricate networks of waterways. Known as the "Cradle of Currents," Vulmara's people are seafarers and guardians of the seas.

They have a profound understanding of marine life and weather patterns, making them excellent navigators and caretakers of the world's waters. Vulmara's coral cities and floating markets are hubs of trade and celebration, uniting the continents with their bounty.

The continent that I live on, is Aeldrith. A fun fact about my family, is that we all came from different continents. In their background it was said that Serena came from Tylgath, Valerie came from Darost, Cristina came from Vulmara, and Rodan came from Aeldrith.

Anyway, the cottage that we're going to live in is a remote area in Aeldrith. Surrounded by trees, and away from the city. "Are you all done, hon?" I heard Val ask, "Yeah, I'm all set. Should we head to the orphanage now?" She agreed and we went to the orphanage.

==================================

After arriving at the orphanage, we saw Rodan and other matrons waiting for us at the entrance of the orphanage. "Mom! Mommy! Here!!!" Rodan welcomed us enthusiastically.

"Mom, up." He asked Val, and I approached the matron who was holding Crissy. "Please be safe on your journey Ms. Bellus and Ms. Ignis." One of the matrons said. After Val collected all of the kids luggage, we thanked the matrons and we left the orphanage.

Now that I think about it, what'll happen to the original MC? And why does he even frequently go to the orphanage??

"Mommy?, Mommy, MOMMY!" I looked at Rodan and answered him, "Yes, son?" I asked confusedly. We're currently riding a car (Val's car), with Val driving, me sitting at the passenger seat, and the kids at the backseat.

"Mommy, is our house pretty?" He asked with sparkling eyes. "I don't know, baby. W

Let's just wait and see, okay?" He nodded and we chatted all the way throughout the ride.

==================================

After a 4 hour ride, we finally arrived at Deth forest. Deth forest is known for its dangerous monsters so I got the land here for a low price.

What? You're worried about me? HA! My (future) wife is one of the best swordsmen in the whole world, what makes you think we'll be in danger? How about the kids? I HAVE DEFENSE SKILLS OKAY? I CAN PUT UP A WARD TOO Y'KNOW?

"Mom, Mommy! Faster! I can see the house." Ro said excitedly, I chuckled at the sight. Just a few days ago, he was so adamant on calling us mom and mommy.

"Wait for your mom, Ro." I said, as I noticed him running towards the forest. "I know, Mommy!" He was jumping around his mom, and urging her to hurry up. "Wait, Ro. I'm just going to park the car there." Val said.

After she was done with that, she picked up our luggage and we headed off to the house.
