             CHAPTER 1:1

  In a distant future, the planet Mars is a desolate wasteland. The few remaining Martians live underground, struggling to survive. But one Martian, a young man named Zephyr, yearns for more. He dreams of a life on the surface, exploring the ruins of the ancient cities and searching for any sign of life. But the surface is a dangerous place, and Zephyr's people have forbidden him from going there. But as Zephyr grows older, he becomes more and more determined to see the surface of his home planet for himself.

        The Martian was born on a cold, red planet, far from Earth. He looked out at the desolate landscape of his home, wondering if there was anyone else like him in the universe.
