Vol. 12 - Chapter 6: The Assault on Area 5X

In Area 5X, located near Sin City. In the Yggdrasil division, Allan Carter,the man has short blonde hair, blue eyes and white skin, the man walks in front of the table and looks at his computer. He begins to have a furious expression towards the computer as he says:

"Damn it, I can´t believe that Raions failed."

Heidi Muller (Age 28) is a blonde woman with a thin body; she has pale skin with brown eyes. She is the secretary of Allan as well as his wife, she is a beautiful woman and has the same rank as Katsumi, Elite Root, and she is originally from Germany.

She enters the office and sees Allan with a worried expression; she sighs with her eyes close and says:

"Allan, you are taking this too serious, I understand that this mission is important but you need to calm down. This division needs a cold headed man."

Allan looks at Heidi with a concern expression; "You don't understand, Director Yoshiro gave me the task to manage the United States division of Yggdrasil. I know that this country does not support Yggdrasil, this is why we are under complete surveillance of the SIA."

Heidi puts her tablet in the desk and walks forwards hugging Allan from the back, Allan stops working and with a surprise expression asks:

"What are you doing?"

"I just want my husband to stay calm under this situation, this is why I decided to come with you to the United States and work and be by your side." Heidi says with a smile. Allan begins to chuckle:

"Thank you, I can always count on my wife for my support. You know I love you right?"

"FUFUFU, I Love You Too." Heidi replies and kisses Allan in the mouth. A priest from the Order of the Holy Cross enters and makes a little cough:

"Sorry to interrupt you but there is a matter we need to discuss."

"What happen? Is something wrong?" Heidi asks with a worried expression.

Outside the base, Raul receives a call from Darius:

"It's time to begin with the mission; we just received an approval from Watson. The Area 5X will cease to exist."

Raul, Angela, and Victoria, put on their robes and their masks, Victoria begins to laugh:

"Finally it´s time, I was getting bore of waiting."

"Concentrate Victoria, we are about to start with the mission." Angela says to Victoria, Victoria moves her hands saying:

"I know, I know, I am just excited to do this. Don't you think the same dear?"

Victoria looks at Raul; Raul does not respond at all. He jumps off the cliff saying:

"It´s time to begin."

In the Area 5X, the four groups remaining held a meeting in the main office. The main office consists of a large round table; the round table is divided in four parts with each part representing an organization; Yggdrasil, the Order of the Holy Cross, Puritan Defense and the SIA.

"I see, Watson is not here yet." Allan asks an agent who was sitting in place of Watson with a suspicious expression. The agent does not say a word at first, he sighs and says:

"Agent Watson will arrive shortly, for now I am in charge."

"I don���t see a member of the Puritan Defense here, where could have he gone off too." The priest representing the Holy Order looks around, Heidi who is behind Allan begins to think:

"That´s strange, where are the other members of the SIA, this place feels empty, its like many of our personal disappeared without a trace."

"Well then, let´s get started and I will make it quick. The Government of United States has decided to disband this base of operations due to the representing danger that increase over the past month." The agent says with a serious tone, the others look at him with rage and the priest begins to say:

"This is preposterous, who gave the order?"

"The President of the United States gave the order; also he gave the order to take into custody the man known as Allan Carter." The agent replies pointing at Allan, the members of the table are in shock, Heidi begins to say:

"WAIT A MINUTE, WHY ARE YOU TAKING INTO CUSTODY ALLAN? WHAT DID HE DO?"

"The reason is simple; Yggdrasil attacked the Capital of the country, not to mention the attack on the Golden Jungle in Florida yesterday night. Our agents have stated that in both of the attacks, members of Yggdrasil were involved in those events." The agent replies, the priest stands up and exclaims:

"Wait a minute, Allan had nothing to do directly, and why do you want to blame him."

"Allan Carter is the director of Yggdrasil in the United States, 20 years ago, we had an agreement, that there would be no casualties in the conflicts, yet we have material damage and casualties in both locations, Carter being the director is to blame, therefore he must be taken to Capital City where he must face judgment." The agent replies as he stands up, he makes a signal and soldiers wearing helmets and masks enter the room, they begin to point their rifles to the members saying:

"Agent Carter, please stand up and come with us without struggle."

Heidi gets furious and begins to release manna out of her body, she begins to say:

"YOU BASTARDS, YOU WANTED A REASON TO TAKE ALLAN, I NOTICED THAT SINCE THE MOMENT HE ARRIVE 5 YEARS AGO, BUT I WONT LET YOU!"

The agent smiles and replies:

"You got us there, but you cannot do anything, if any one of you dares to raise your hand against us, you will be branded as criminals and will be taken down immediately."

The priest along with his agents stand down, Heidi looks at them and makes a giant blade appear, the blade is silver colored and emits blue manna out of it. Heidi looks at the soldiers with fury and asks:

"Are you the ones responsible for the disappearance of the Puritan Defense?"

"That´s right, the Puritan Defense was no longer necessary, so we got rid of them, the last member is right here." The agent snaps his fingers, a soldier throws the last member of the Puritan Defense into the table, he is already dead with multiple gun shots in his body.

Heidi and Allan look shocked on what they were seeing; Heidi begins to scream with rage:

"YOU BASTARD, IF YOU TAKE ALLAN, YOU ARE GOING TO DO THE SAME, I WONT LET YOU."

Heidi charges straight at the agent, she knocks out some of the soldiers, she raises her blade and begins to attack.

(SSSSLLLLAASSSHHHH)

Blood spills in the table, however it wasn't the agent´s, it was Allan who stood in front of her blocking the attack with his arm.

(DRIP, DRIP, DRIP, DROP, DROP)

"Very clever move you did there agent Carter, you prevented her from being a criminal." The agent of the SIA laughs, Heidi with a furious expression begins to scream:

"WHY DID YOU DO THAT? WE CAN TAKE THESE BASTARDS DOWN EASILY."

Allan looks at Heidi and orders her:

"STAND DOWN; YOU KNOW THAT THIS IS WRONG."

Allan turns around and extends his arms saying; "I apologize from my agent´s behavior, I will go without a fight, just leave them alone."

"Very well, time to go." The soldiers handcuff Allan and begin to escort him to the outside where some military vehicles are waiting for him. Heidi tries to go after him but the priest known as Arturo stops her saying:

"My child you must wait, think about your husband´s feelings, just trust in him."

Father Arturo (Age 70) is an old priest that has been in charge of the United States Division of the Holy Cross for 40 years. He has a wrinkle face, long white beard, he is wearing a black suit with a white color and a cane that helps him walk.

Heidi stops struggling and begins to cry saying; "But why him, please don't go, don't leave me alone."

Allan turns around and says:

"I´ll be back, just wait for me."

"I doubt it; I think that you will never comeback." The agent says with a sarcastic smile, the soldiers and Allan go outside to the vehicles, Allan begins to think:

"I´m sorry Director Yoshiro, I have failed you."

The vehicle begins to get closer to where Allan is, the soldier pushes Allan saying:

"Move it"

Allan begins to walk, suddenly, he feel something coming, he looks up and sees a missile approaching him.

"LOOK OUT!" Allan screams to the soldiers –BBBBOOOOOMMM- The missile impacts the vehicle destroying it completely, suddenly multiple missiles begin to attack the base.

(BBBBBBOOMMM, CCRRRAASSSHHH)

"We are under attack, run away" The soldiers begin to run, Allan who was blown away by the force of the impact stands up and sees the missiles destroying the base. Heidi runs towards Allan screaming:

"ALLAN, ARE YOU ALRIGHT?"

Allan nods in agreement, the agent stands up in front of them, he takes out his phone and calls someone:

"Yes, Agent Carter, Yggdrasil and the Holy Cross began to attack the SIA, should we counter attack?"

"Affirmative, eliminate the Area 5X immediately." Agent Watson says with the agent saying:

"Understood sir, commencing extermination."

(PIU, PIU, PIU)

The soldiers begin to attack the agents around the base, one by one they are being killed by without mercy.

"WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING?" Allan screams to the agent, the agent smiles saying:

"We are just responding to you aggression that´s all."

"But we haven't attack you at all, it was set up." Heidi says to the agent.

(PUUUUMMM)

A missile impacts the agent causing a huge explosion, Allan and Heidi look frightened. The smoke clears revealing El Muerto standing in front of them. El Muerto walks towards them saying:

"You are welcome, I know that you wanted to do that but I beat you to it."

El Muerto (Raul) begins to form missiles in mid air and says:

"I´m sorry but I´m afraid I must destroy this base."

El Muerto begins to launch the missiles towards the buildings causing huge explosions,

(BBBBOOOOMMMM)

Angela who has the purple mask begins to create waves destroying the vehicles who were trying to escape. Victoria begins to launch rocks towards the helicopters destroying them, preventing the agents to escape.

Allan stands in front of them and with a furious expression he says:

"YOU BASTARDS, YOU WILL PAY."

Allan begins to release an enormous amount of silver-colored manna, wind begins to gather around the base. Victoria begins to laugh:

"Wow the director is so strong; his manna is causing uproar."

"Indeed, however, we don't have time for that." Raul says as he takes out a small orb, he throws it to the sky, the orb begins to emit strange smoke to the air, Allan who is about to chant:

"Activate, Silver Scale, L…"

Allan begins to feel weak as he stops producing manna; he falls into his knees as he begins to think:

"My manna, my esper suit, what did you do?"

"It's a special trick that Master Darius gave to us, now your esper suit is useless, which means that you are done for." Victoria says with a cheerful tone as she kicks Allan with force.

(BBBBBOOOOOMMMM)

Victoria sends Allan flying and crashing to the wall of a building. Heidi appears from behind them with a trident trying to attack Victoria, however, Victoria dodges and kicks her force causing her to throw up blood and crash with Allan.

(BBBBOOOOMMMM)

Heidi loses consciousness as Allan stands up, he breathes heavily thinking; "What was that? It felt as if a truck hit me, and it looks like it affected Heidi as well."

"Angela takes care of the rest." Raul says as he and Victoria begin to elevate thanks to a green platform created by his manna. Victoria waves saying:

"BYE BYE NOW, IF YOU SURVIVE, I WANT TO FIGHT YOU AGAIN."

Angela, who is wearing her mask, stands in a hill away from the base; she begins to accumulate manna in her hand. She makes a fists and chants:

"împărțitor de pământ" (earth splitter)

Angela puts her palm in the ground creating small shock wave; the wave begins to expand creating huge waves of earth heading towards the base. Allan begins to feel the ground shaking, he tries to gather manna but he still has the effect of the smoke.

"Damn it, I won't be able to use manna, but I need to protect her." Allan think grtabs an unconscious Heidi, he holds her tightly saying:

"Don't worry my love; I will protect you with my life."

(CCCCCRRRAAAASSSHHHHHH)

The wave hits the base, the buildings begin to crumble and destroyed in seconds leaving nothing but a great smokescreen, the earth also split in pieces causing a huge earthquake.-AAAAHHHH- People in Sin City begin to enter in a state of panic, destroying glasses and windows, some streets have cracks as well.

"FUFUFU, I think you overdid it Angela." Victoria laughs as Raul calls Darius saying:

"Mission Accomplished, we will return immediately."

On the night of August 31st , the base known as Area 5X was completely destroyed, the cause is "unknown" as the SIA declared and the amount of survivors is unknown.
