The Beach and the Sea Monster

David, Ken, Sara, Ashley, and Foxy were walking in the forest with the smell of the ocean on all of their noses. Foxy said, "The beach is just beyond those bamboo trees."

"Lets have race" David said excitedly. "Last one at the beach is a rotten egg!" David ran to the bamboo trees with everyone else starting to run after David.

David ran through the bamboo trees and landed on the beach, followed by Foxy and Sara with Ken trailing behind followed by Ashley. Ashley tripped fell on the sand. David and Sara chuckled. Ashley whined, "That wasn't funny."

"Oh, I'm sorry Ashley" David said feeling bad.

"Sorry" Sara said. "I didn't mean to laugh."

Foxy pointed and said, "Their is a beach restaurant over there."

Ashley cheered up instantly and said excitedly, "Finally. A chance to have a decent meal."

David, Ken, Sara, Ashley, and Foxy walked into the restaurant. A wizard in a brown robe came from behind the counter and asked, "Party of five? Will you like be to show you your table?"

"Yes please" Foxy answered. David and the others followed the wizard to their table.

The wizard pulled out a pad of paper and a pencil then asked, "What would you all like to drink?"

David said, "I'll take a coke."

Said said, "Same here."

"Yeah" Ken said.

The wizard said, "I'm sorry, I don't know what that is."

Foxy said, "I'll help. We will all have bubble loopos."

The wizard said, "Right away. Five bubble loopos coming up." The wizard turned around, pulled out his wand and waved it.

David asked, "What is a bubble loopos?"

"It's a favorite sugar drink among young people" Foxy answered.

Five glasses of navy blue bubbling drinks floated in the air and landed in front of David and the others. The wizard asked, "Do you know what you would like to eat?"

David said, "I'll take a hamburger and some fries."

Foxy said, "I'll help again. We'll all take the special of whatever garden meats you have along with 5 sides of slappy potatoes."

"Right away" said the wizard and he turned a walked away.

Ken asked, "What are garden meats?"

"Oh right" Foxy said. "In this world we rarely hunt for meat so instead we grow it. Not all but a lot of wizards can do different kinds of magic that can grow garden meats. Their are also magically enchanted seeds that grow meat."

The wizard returned with trays of different foods that he was levitating with his wand. When the trays landed in front of David and the others they saw samples of different color meats from red to brown and light blue to green."

David said, "This all looks cool. Lets dig in."

Ashley said, "Wait a minute. Can we pay for this? Because I wasn't carrying any money when I was magically transported here."

Foxy said, "Don't worry I have money." Foxy waved his hand on the table and then one gold, three silver, and 8 bronze coins magically appeared.

David asked, "Can you really just make money like that?"

Foxy chuckled and said, "Oh no. I have money in my magic space just like with the sleeping bags."

"Cool" David said. "Now lets eat."

David, Ken, Sara, Ashley, and Foxy walked out of the restaurant and onto the docks where the boats were outside of the restaurant . They followed the wizard to a small yacht. The wizard said, "You can use this yacht to cross the ocean to the next main land. The yacht is up to date with location and magic movement enchantments."

"Thank you" Foxy replied with a nod. With that the wizard walked away.

David said, "Cool boat."

Ashley said, "It's actually a yacht. Although it is a small one at that. Nothing compare to the one my father has."

Sara commented in her thoughts "Annoying rich girl."

David and the others walked on the small yacht. "It's still sweet" David said. "Does anyone know how to drive it?"

Foxy said, "It drives itself. It's enchanted." The small yacht started sailing away from the dock and began to pick up speed as it gentle sped across the ocean.

Their was a sound of a small explosion and the yacht jumped violently. David, Ken, Sara, Ashley, and Foxy came running out to the deck. David asked, "What was that?"

Foxy looked down at the water on the back of the yacht and saw a blue orb that was now broken on the back of the yacht. "Oh no! This isn't good. The magic orb has broke and now the boat has no magic."

Something rose its head out of the water and rose higher to tower over the small yacht. It was a green sea serpent monster with scales and big thick gills. Foxy yelled, "It's a sea serpent! David! Sara! We're in danger!"

David and Sara raised their wands and exclaimed, "Sorcerer evolution!" In flash of fire and white light, David and Sara were in their robes. David with a robe of red and gold and Sara being in a robe of sparkling white.

Sara turned to David and asked with a confident smile, "Mind if I go first?"

"Be my guest."

Sara exclaimed, "Magical feather blaster!" A gust of wind with white glowing feathers shot out of Sara's wand. The sea serpent at the same time shot a torrent of water out of its mouth. Both attacks collided against each other but Sara's attack of wind and feathers of light pushed the torrent of water back to the green sea serpent and slapped it face. The sea serpent made a sound that was between a screech and a roar and rose its tail out of the water and was about to slap the yacht.

David exclaimed, "Magical flamethrower!" A stream of fire burst out of David's wand and hit the tail of the sea serpent forcing the sea serpent to retreat its burned tail into the water. The green sea serpent dived back under the water. David said, "It looks like we took care of him."

Beneath the yacht a whirlpool formed and quickly picked up more speed and power forcing the yacht to follow the current. David shouted, "What is this?"

Foxy said, "It is the sea serpents special attack. It can create whirlpools." Their was a great push to the side of the boat and everyone slammed on the deck but Ken was thrown overboard and into the whirlpool.

"Ken!" David and Foxy both yelled.

"Help me, I can't swim!"

David yelled, "I'm coming Ken!" David jumped over the side of the yacht. David started swimming towards Ken but the current was to strong and David was forced to go along with it.

Ken was splashing and trying keep his head above the water but the water over took him and he fell under. His eyes were shut tight and he was flailing underwater to no avail. Through his closed eyes Ken could see a blue light. Something pressed itself to Ken's hand. He opened his eyes and found himself holding a blue wand. He exclaimed, "Sorcerer evolution!" In a flash of blue light he was now wearing a blue robe.

The whirlpool lost its power and Ken floated up to the surface of the water. Ken turned his head and found David about twenty feet away. Ken asked, "David, are you okay?"

"I'm fine buddy. It looks like you found your wand."

Ken pointed his blue wand at the the sea serpent ahead and exclaimed, "Water blaster!" A blast of water shot out of the tip of Ken's wand and hit the sea serpent in the face forcing it backwards. He pointed his wand at the surface of the ocean where the sea serpent had risen and exclaimed, "Whirlpool attack!" A whirlpool formed beneath the sea serpent and began to swallow it. Ken raised his wand and forced the whirlpool to geyser upward. "Sara! use your magic to create a tornado!"

"Good idea" Sara exclaimed, "Magical feather blaster!" A gust of wind and white feathers of light lifted the geyser of water that was tossing the sea serpent around with a swish of Sara's wand the wind and water threw the sea serpent many yards away.

David and Ken swam to the small yacht. David climbed up it and reach down to help up Ken. Foxy said, "That was good magical control you had there. Your ideas about what to do and how to combine magic is impressive. You have smart instincts."

Kevin smiled with his face blushing. "Thanks Foxy."

David said, "Speaking of smart instincts I got an idea." He waved his wand down his robe and it instantly was dry and warm. "Cool it works. Your turn Ken." David waved his wand over Ken and suddenly his robes were dry and warm as well.

"Thanks David."

David said, "Your a good swimmer. I thought you didn't know how."

"When I'm in my blue sorcerer's robe I can float if I want to."

"Cool."

Foxy said, "It looks like we a going to have to wait to be rescued."

Ken said, "Not if I give magic to the water enchantment that drives the yacht." Ken leaned over the back of the yacht and pointed his wand at the broken blue orb. A blue light shot out of Ken's blue wand and lit up the broken orb. The yacht began to sail across the ocean.
