Into The Mountains

Taking a deep breath, Di Tou calmed himself down. Although a long time ago, the mountains might have been a terrifying place that split the continent in two, comparable to the Kingdom of Beasts in the far north, which was a long time ago. Nowadays, although the beasts were still plentiful and the mountains were a dead zone where few would travel, at the very least, the presence of the Academy had culled the pride and arrogance of the beasts, making them more reclusive. All of the truly strong beasts either had an accord with the Academy or had retreated far into the mountains, away from the mortal world.

Thus, as long as one wasn't stupid and provoked danger, the mountains were passable for cultivators in the Nascent Soul Stage.
