Most people don't choose reincarnation. Reincarnation finds their way to them. Perhaps they did something great in their life. Or maybe truck-sama wasn't looking where it was going. But without fail, those who reincarnate are destined for something great. A new life where everything changes for the better. But... Reincarnation isn't always the greatest thing. Sometimes you just draw the short end of the stick. Di Tou just happens to have drawn the shortest stick. Pulled out of his life randomly. Taken by a crazy old eccentric man not as a disciple, but as a body double?! And a janitor body double no less?! Grasping a system to find... It's a JANITOR SYSTEM!? Truly, how unlucky can one get?
So, for the current Di Tou, being able to make these small baby steps and doing something as mundane as straightening a scroll was rather beneficial and was more conductive to his growth than something like creating weapons. After all, for weapons, although there was still finesse needed, a powerful weapon was never exactly a bad thing.
Sensing that all of the various objects he had accidentally displaced earlier were finally back in place, Di Tou let out a long breath and opened his eyes before looking around with a satisfied feeling in his heart.
After taking a moment to savor the experience, Di Tou closed his eyes again and stretched out his Spiritual Sense. This time, his expansion was much more aggressive, instead of letting his Spiritual Sense out like a gentle gust of wind, this time it was like viscous mercury, swiftly stretching and filling crevices all around.
