"Arghh, where am I ?" said Ken as he woke up to find himself in an unfamiliar building.

"My head?" said Ken as he pointed to his head only to feel immense pain all over his body,"Urgh, " as he groaned in pain.

"Who are you?" asked Ken as he heard the voice again.

[ I am the system master] said the voice.

"Which sys__," said Ken as he remembered the words he saw before he passed out."How did you get inside my head," asked Ken.

[I do not know how that bracelet ended in your hand, but I got to say you are quite lucky master] said the voice.

"What do you mean by am lucky that the bracelet ended in my hand it is a family heirloom," said Ken

"What is your name?" asked Ken

[Am the one called Ronin the deadly assasin] said the voice.

"Never heard your name or any deadly assassin," said Ken.

[You can't have heard about me. I will be surprised if you know about me because I am not a being of the world] said Ronin.

"You said I have a system, right? Can you tell me more about it," said Ken, changing the topic immediately.

"Woah, that is great, but the mana core is not something I heard of that before," said Ken.

[Well, forget about that, why don't you start the training for your body] said Ronin.

"Can't you see that am pain?" said Ken

"Two weeks," shouted Ken in disbelief only to check the electronic calendar to find it to be two weeks later after the incident.

At this moment, the room's door and a middle-aged woman ran in to see Ken awake. "You are awake, I thought you fell into coma, but you make it back," said the woman. "Where am I ma'am?" asked Ken." You want to know where you are, right?" asked the woman, with an intense gaze "yes ma'am, " replied Ken "well you are in a hidden laboratory where we use humans for our research purposes," said the woman.

"Oh really," said Ken with a calm face, " you are not bothered with being used as lab rat?" asked the woman with curious face "well I have nothing to lose since I don't have someone to care about me or find me, so I don't care about being a lab rat at least I will get free meal" said Ken sarcastically.

"Kira, stop lying to the child," said a man who walked into the room as he sat down beside Ken. " Boo Rock, you are always a fun killer. I was just trying to see his reaction when he heard that he is being used as lab rat but who have thought that he will remain calm with such a straight face" said the woman who is called Kira. Rock looked at her through his glass with a serious face. "You shouldn't joke about such things where the unfortunate faction ran rampage throughout the world." Then he turned to Ken and said,"You are in a hospital for all that matters for now. " Then he took out a file and said, "What is your name?".

"Ken, sir," replied Ken.

'Age?" asked Rock.

"16 sir," replied Ken.

"Family?" asked Rock.

" None, sir," replied Ken after a moment of silence.

Rock looked at him before turning back to the file, and he said, " You were found by one of our agents who went after an enemy who escaped into the slums so I will like you to go into details of what happened to you" as he continues writing on the file.

"Yes sir," replied Ken as he explained how he was grow up with a parent to look after only to fend for himself and how he was being bullied and how he went back for revenge only to be beaten more but he didn't talk about the system after he was warned by Ronin who told him not to tell anyone about the his existence at all since he could be sent to lab for experiments." damn I can't believe you went through all that alone. Don't worry, big sis Kira is now here to help you," said Kira with an angry yet parental face.

"Thank you ma'am," said Ken while nodding his head. "Just call big sis Kira okay," said Kira who had a smile on her face "sorry to break the atmosphere but Ken let me inform that once you recover from your injuries you will be admitted to the Damien academy so you can start your studies there but for the meantime Kira here will be going through the basic for you so you will be able to understand what you being taught in the academy" said Rock with a stoic face.

After an hour of talking, Rock and Kira left the room to which Ken exhaled heavy breath. "Huff huff huff damn that was intense with Rock looking at me like he want to eat me alive," said Ken as he talked to Ronin who was in his head.

[Well it is because you are weak that was terrifying for you. In fact a normal guard in my world is stronger than him] said Ronin sarcastically.

"Well forget about that let see how the training will go" said Ken.
