Strange dream

Yeshia and her companions embarked on their journey through the forest once again. While the trek should have only taken five days, most people chose to travel along the boundaries of the forest to avoid encountering the ferocious magical beasts that roamed the core region. However, with Nuwa's guidance, Yeshia and Azure were able to cut through the heart of the forest, drastically shortening their journey time.

As night descended, the forest became cloaked in darkness, prompting the group to set up camp under a massive tree. Yeshia cleared debris and kindled a fire before Nuwa presented a freshly hunted rabbit for dinner. Having grown up on a vegetarian diet, Yeshia was hesitant to eat meat, but to her surprise and confusion, she found herself ravenous. Her appetite seemed insatiable, and she found herself craving more despite having devoured a large portion of the rabbit.

As Azure was now capable of flying and fending for itself, Yeshia turned to preparing a place to sleep for her and Nuwa. She quickly drifted off into much-needed rest, where she was greeted by a dream of the white-haired woman she had seen in the Kingdom of Stormhold. This time, Yeshia could clearly make out the woman's face, which bore a striking resemblance to Azure's blue eyes, with her hair cascading down in a long, white dress. As Yeshia started to speak, the woman gazed outward, watching as the sky distorted and something fell to the ground at an alarming rate. A massive blast followed, decimating entire kingdoms and setting the forest ablaze in smoke.

Tears streamed down the woman's face as she watched in devastation, while Yeshia helplessly looked on as a mere spectator. Gimrick's tales of an artifact falling from the heavens after a great earthquake echoed through Yeshia's mind, leading her to believe that she was viewing a memory of that tragedy. However, she couldn't fathom how she was experiencing it all.

In an instant, the scene shifted to the very forest where her father had discovered Azure's nest. Yet, instead of Azure, a large red egg was nestled within the branches, while the mysterious woman was present once again. As she infused spiritual energy into the egg, she spoke to Yeshia, though it appeared she was addressing someone else entirely. Strange hand gestures accompanied a blinding light, before Yeshia awoke to find herself surrounded by her companions, visually unchanged from the moment she had fallen asleep.
