Ice cream

My life has always been good! I have the best mom in the world, she's strict when she has to be and understands when I make mistakes.

My dad, we have a close bond, he's the one who named me, Mom always said he was so excited when I was born! And he's a scientist for a big corporation.

And finally, my younger siblings, their twins, we're 10 years apart but they're the best siblings I could ask for, especially Mandy the best little sister ever! Aldo Mac tries to act tough, I know he's just acting.

With such a great family and amazing friends at school, I was always happy, even on the day I died...

"Nooooooooo!" She cried in the street Over My Dead Body hoping someone, anyone can hear her, too bad for her it was a secluded street. No cars for miles and no one walks past this road.

She waited and waited until someone finally came to call the ambulance in an ounce of my death.

" Ok, a death by a hit-and-run, any Witnesses?" A police officer said.

" Yeah, his little sister but she's too young!"

"Name of the kid? Family information?" The officer said with irritation, seems that he was in a hurry. "Okay, let's speed this process up! I got to get back to my wife!"

A few hours later my family came to identify my body.

"No, can't be him, he was just out getting ice cream with his little sister, this couldn't be..." She said in denial, trying to hold back her tears.

But she saw my dead body cold as ice blue as the sky and pale.

Years have passed, and my father refuses to let me rest, he cryogenically froze my body. I was scared the first time I opened my eyes and realized they couldn't hear me, I was trapped in my body forced to watch them day in Day Out.

Watching them everyday drove me crazy and pains my heart, This one's happy family was now ruined by me.

My parents weren't paying any attention to my siblings, and my father with spending all of his time with me in this laboratory room, a room that I wasn't allowed in until after death.

He never goes to sleep and he was always searching for answers, he tried to find the person who did this to me, or should I say us?

His sadness dreaded the whole family, eventually, my mother ended up sick and died 6 years after my death.

My siblings became of age, Mac decided to leave to college, while Mandy decided to stay in watched over father.

She never got rid of her guilt, she thought that if she didn't stand in the road her brother wouldn't have to save her.

As a kid, she didn't understand these emotions, but now since she's older it's all she can think about.

It's been about 11 years, my father passed last year the only one who lived in the house was my sister.

She was 36 when she finally got her life together and started a family of her own, Her husband was nice and she had three children and I thought they were going to live happily but life always decides otherwise.

They constantly would fight over me he would say that she needed to let go, and she would say that it was her fault so how could she let it go. This went on until they got a divorce he had custody over their kids and she fell into drug addiction, she died in her early 60s, while I'm still here watching over everything.

Until finally one day he came back.

"I'm turning 90 this Monday I remember when you bought me my favorite ice cream even though, I act like I didn't want it you were kind in still bought me one anyways!

After your passing, it was nothing but despair for us. You were my role model... in life but now it's time for me to say goodbye!" My little brother said as he was about to Unplug Me.

I thought I would finally get my piece of mine, but then a bright light like no other hit, and it pulled me into it where I was woken...

"patient 001 has awoken!!"

I could see and not just in blurs I could see people cheering yelling in excitement an emotion I haven't seen in a while.

{Welcome patient 001 this is the year 2152}

" This is our first human doll as students, what's this we might get in A!"

Someone in a lab coat yelled!

" Calm down, we haven't implanted a Core yet without a Core he's considered a failure."

Another student said hoping to burst the other student's bubble.

" H-how a-m I-i a-alive? " I asked stunning here and there but once I spoke they all went Frozen.

" H-he's a monster!!" A student yelled.

" I'll go get the professor," Another one said while running out of the room.

10 minutes later, someone with black hair and glasses who was in his thirties walked into the room.

He came near me, I was lying on the exam table and my whole body was paralyzed besides my head.

" Nothing appears to be wrong with him!" The guy in the glasses said." He can't move the rest of his body in his head it's following our movements everything appears to be fine"

" B-but he spoke!"

"Spoke?" The guy with glasses said and confusion " Risens don't speak!"

" But This One Did, We All Saw!!" They said trying to convince him.

"Is this another one of your pranks? I told you all before the Risen can't speak!" He said with an unamused face he was about to get ready to walk out the door.

" a-am i-I alive?" Even though I can see them, I couldn't hear them the first time it took a lot of energy for me to speak so I had to muster up all the energy I had to do it again.

" H-he spoke!! That's impossible!!" The guy in glasses said.

Months later...

The world has drastically changed since that white light, it went down in history As the beginning of the master era.

From what I can understand, masters are essentially people who can use a certain type of magic and a certain category. This school is called, Risen Corpse Education, and it was made for corpse masters to learn how to use their abilities. Corpse masters has 5 levels to be complete, and other masters More or less. In masters your apprentice until you reach at least level 3.

I'm in a school that is studying corpse mastery and I was supposed to be there first test subject, they weren't expecting real results let alone meet to talk.

After finding out that I can speak which risen aren't supposed to do. They locked me up in a lab room. They perform tests on me, and from what I can hear, I am a normal risen other than the fact that I can speak.

Other than that, the black hair guy with glasses turned out to be the teacher named, Harry. He would come to the lab that I was holed up in and speak to me every once in a while. He told me About the world and how I might be sentenced to death if anyone ever found out about me.

Due to one reason, Risens can't speak.

Never in their history, they have came across one that could, so if the government ever found out about this, they would think that court masters are evolving and they don't want that to happen. They will kill me and anyone who have something to do with this.

Meaning the students and their teacher.

After months of them, cutting off my body parts and stitching back together, I grew bored of this white room. Since turning into a risen, I have no need to eat or sleep, I don't even feel pain.

Corpse masters are one of the lowest masteries you can get, however they are ones that contribute the most. Since you can't make yourself physically strong, being a corpse master is a lot harder at than the rest of the masters. People would rather not be one, but you can make an army and win many battles as a corpse master, which from my understanding they did, which is why The country of Raw Is so strong. This is the country the school is set in They have the most corpse masters.

After the white light hit, everybody forgot their memories, and yet a select few can use there masteries straight away, and so they made new countries, many wars happened as well. It was a painful era of time for them, but it got them to where they are today at peace with one another.

"Eli? You seem out of it today." Henry said while cleaning his glasses.

I was on the exam table as usual, while he was on the other side of the glass I got up when he walked in.

" No, I'm just thinking how boring it is here. " I said.

His eyes immediately brightened! " So risen can get bored, hmm? " He looked like he just found a new discovery. " Well, if that's all it is don't worry, today is a special day! risen training starts today. It's a normal thing for risen to train 3 to 5 months after they're made. The first few months are usually spend on testing if they work properly are not." He speak to me like I was one of his students, when he first learned of me he would speaks to me in a cold Manor like I didn't exist. But now, after months of conversation, he treats me like a student.

" You go to the gym with all the other risens And you'll be trained by the risen professional trainer teacher. It was supposed to start last week, but one of the classroom risen suddenly stop working, so they had to fix it up. " He smiled, even though he speaks to me as I am human, he speaks of the risen is we are a thing that he doesn't understand.

After he left, some students, open the door and let me out to guide me to the gym.

"Eli?" one of the students said.

" Yes." I replied back kindly, I got close with the students within these months. Some of them would even come to the lab to check up on me.

" Mr. Henry said to remind you, not to speak, we don't want anything bad to happen to us in our class is the only ones who knows." He said, sounding a little shy.

They placed me near a room with a huge door.

" We're here, we're not allowed to go in there.

Classes aren't supposed to see what happens here, or else we might know more about an other class risen and get a hand up on our final exam." As the students was leaving, I walked in the gym and it was filled.

Everybody in there had dead eyes with their heads pointed at the stage blankly, there was at least 5000 of them, even though I knew this school was huge and famous, I didn't expect so many.

I found a spot to stand, and I put on that same face that everyone else was doing, so I wouldn't look suspicious.
