After making sure that no threat was chasing them, Wang Hua pulled the bridle, stopped the horse, and jumped down. She looked down with an agitated expression, clenching her fists. She went through another oppression thus wrath was born in her heart, this time differently.

Moon Bird's egg, I don't care if it is a devil dark item, I want it because I need it.

"Wang Hua, we must leave before they catch us."

Wang Hua shook her head, "They are not following us and we are close to the cabin."

'Dang it, the gold we lost could support us for a good year and now I have to work my ass off to find another spiritual herb. Besides, I sacrificed a lot to sell it, I could keep the 'Crane herb' for extracting its essence and gain temporary magic.'

Wang Hua told it in her mind. With her current situation, she could be caught and slaughtered by her stepmother.

"I must take back my gold."

Yu Jia Yi flinched when she discovered this dangerous vengeful look on Wang Hua's face. While she couldn't convince herself to dismount, the girl across her sight was evolving a perilous goal. She was familiar with this expression that was plastered on her face. The last time she saw it, Wang Hua broke two of her legs and went bedridden for a whole month. Physicians believed that she would become a cripple but she survived.

A flock of butterflies commenced to take off in Jia Yi's belly when she jumped down off the saddle and rushed near Wang Hua grabbing hold of her arm to persuade her to change her mind.

"Let's leave, it is dangerous to fool around on this forest road."

Wang Hua couldn't hear anything, as long as she decided to live as a coward she could earn nothing. Many people were afraid of the path ahead of them but they took the first step and faced the danger. But about her, she always stuck around as a weakling and let others bully her.

She must kill that girl, here, right now, and bury her.

"You said, that mercenary assured my stepmother that I'm dead, right?"

Yu Jia Yi's grip loosened and her arms dropped off her sides.

"Did you run out of your mind?" The maiden murmured.

Perhaps losing her gold caused a hefty pang in her head and drove her lunatic.

"Answer me."

Her voice was husky and tense in resentment.

The maiden lowered her head and began to play with her fingers, "Yes, and she was looking for your construction formula notebook."

A maniac grin appeared on her face that jolted Yu Jia Yi.

"Are... You... Alright?"

She stuttered.

"I am perfect, I couldn't be better." She burst out a scary melancholy laughter that reverberated in that area.

Yu Jia Yi was scared that they might attract another perilous foe.

"I am the despicable disgraced, a good-for-nothing pack of bones. I've read tons of books in these years to formulate those elixir recipes, did she indeed think I would have handed it over to them easily? I wanted to use that in exchange to earn my freedom but they schemed my murder plan."

A flash of red light blazed in her eyes and her lips parted, "That girl no longer exists, this world has veiled under the shadow of darkness. So I will become the most powerful cultivator in this world and will ascend to the Jade celestial realm."

Yu Jia Yi now was certain that her lady lost her mind and when Wang Hua suddenly turned to meet her eyes, she swallowed but it irritated her throat. The bird was scared to look into those horrifying eyes.

Wang Hua grabbed her arms, and give out a strange berserk aura. Her pupils dilated and a few stars like bright light speckled those dark irises.

"You and I shall end this miserable life and commence over a new one if we want to survive."

Giving it thought, Yu Jia Yi felt her Lady's pain. She had lost her spirit animal and nothing could be worse than this. She didn't even think of avenging this; but for how long could she live like this?

Wang Hua squeezed the girl's arm and the maiden smiled, "You are right," her palm rested on the girl's hand, and released her arm, gently. Going to the basket, she took out Xiaojiao who was wearing an aggressive look for being kept in the dark for hours.

Furious irritated Xiaojiao bit Wang Hua's finger and reached out to poke her nose.

"Yes, that's right bite all those who hurt you." Wang Hua laughed drastically.

"We will help Xiaojiao grow up and protect us." Yu Jia Yi admitted.

The cub agreed with a howling.

Wang Hua embraced her cub and said, "We will go to Wang Manor to bring my notebook, then we will find those thieves to take our gold back."

Yu Jia Yi nodded, her lady didn't have a magic spiritual aura and if they moved in the shadow, no one could sense her presence.

"I will cultivate tonight to boost my spiritual magic but I only know three enchantments."

"That's it, the focus of 'dove energy', I know it is an easy enchantment but if you boost your level, it becomes substantial." Wang Hua shouted excitedly, "This is our fate to come to this point, and lead our way to a greater course."

"Yes, yes." Jia Yi bobbed her head, however, she could hardly figure out what course her Lady exactly meant.

They were determined to accomplish it and decided to go back to the cabin and set a plan. The maiden knew all the secret ways to Wang Manor therefore, they had an opportunity to creep inside without being seen by guards.

They cooked and had their dinner, then Wang Hua searched for an elixir that could help Jia Yi's cultivation progress.

They required something beneficial and mighty since they had a long way before them to cross the guards; most of the guards wanted to become elite martial arts trainers. Some would never stop chasing them for being needy of ascension. The hostess of the Wang manor could be a decent arbitrator to provide them with a martial art master. Neither of them would want to miss the wind-brought opportunity to capture the girls if they saw them.

She found nothing practical that would be helpful for Yu Jia Yi. She was a weak dove and these elixirs couldn't match her current strength and spiritual level and could have killed her.
