CHAPTER 3:DISCOVERY!MISERY!

"Jane!Jane!Where are you?" Sloane called out furiously.

A timid girl with short brown hair came running.

"Y..yes, your ladyship?" She faltered.

The dark aura around Sloane filled the room. Her eyes glowed like that of a demon staring daggers.

"Leaving the young lady of the house. Where were you?" Sloane raged.

"Spare me Milady! I-I went to get some snacks f-for the young miss" Jane fell on her knees begging.

"Yulia asked her to leave."

Sloane turned to her little sister who was tugging her dress.

"Why did you -"

Sloane was taken aback by Yulia's puppy-like teary eyes.

She crouched and patted Yulia.

"Tell me. What's going on?"

Yulia sobbed."The teacher... I don't like him. He hits Yulia when I get something wrong."

"WHAT DID YOU SAY?" Sloane fumed unable to hold her anger fumed.

"So those wounds were given by him."

Sloane grabbed the poor maid by the collar.

"Did you know about this?"

"Please spare me Milady! I know not about this. All I know is that the tutor would ask me to leave the room when the young miss is studying. I had no choice but to leave."

Sloane let go of Jane's collar leaving the terrified maid trembling in fear.

"Baron Günter! I recall. He is Yulia's tutor. That gutter rat will pay dearly for this."

"Sister?" Yulia looked frightened.

Sloane patted her head.

"Tend to her wounds. I'll be back soon."Sloane ordered going out of the room.

"Yes, my lady." Jane stammered.

"Jane. Are you alright?"Yulia asked.

" Yes, Milady. Thank you for standing up for me. Milady please don't hesitate to tell me things like this."Jane smiled meekly.

Yulia nodded."I didn't want to cause anyone trouble."

Jane hugged the clueless child surprising her.

"Please rely on us more young miss."

Tears trickled down Yulia's eyes and hugged her maid back.
