Gumshin Attack

"Who are you?" asked Ling Fei curiously, looking at the two-braided woman who had suddenly appeared from behind a tree.

"I'm Asahi, the guardian of the sacred tree in Yeongdam forest," she replied in a voice that sounded loud and round.

The two-braided woman walked over to Bai Lu. She stared at him with her two red, perfectly rounded eyeballs so sharply and sternly.

"You're Han Yuran, aren't you? A Jeonsa goljjagi ruler of Halla mountain who is famous for her Lily fragrance."

Bai Lu walked back one step from Asahi's presence. How could she possibly know about him? Was Han Yuram that famous? That everyone knew about her?

"How do you know about me?" asked Bai Lu innocently.

Asahi laughed so hard that she had tears in her eyes because of how funny Bai Lu's statement was and made Lee Gon and Ling Fei look at each other in confusion.

"Where did you say that? You're so innocent, Han Yuram. Every creature in this world knows about you. Even an ant knows everything about you. In fact, all of them are eager to kill you."

Asahi spoke her last words in a half-whisper, causing Bai Lu, who heard her, to be quite surprised as her eyes widened.

Hearing that everyone wanted to kill her, Bai Lu violently pushed Asahi's body which was quite close to her.

"Are you crazy!" Bai Lu shouted in fear and seemed to be starting to panic.

"What do you want? Do you have a specific intention of approaching us?" Lee Gon shouted as he saw Bai Lu push Asahi's body away.

"The sacred red stone. All the gumiho, even the evil spirits inhabiting this universe are eager to get their hands on it. Don't you realize, you're the target of the gumiho. They all want to kill you, especially you!" Asahi pointed at Bai Lu's face using his magic wand.

Ling Fei approached Lee Gon and half-whispered to him. "Don't mess with him, Gon~ah. It won't do any good."

Lee Gon looked at Ling Fei's face confused. "Why, who is he?"

"She's the owner of the divine pedestal lotus flower wand that's quite legendary in Yeongdam forest. If you smell the scent of Jasmine flowers, then he's around us." Ling Fei replied in a low voice and was still staring at Asahi's face who seemed to be arguing with Bai Lu.

"No wonder, I smelled the scent of Jasmine flowers when Asahi appeared. Apparently, she's the owner of the legendary Yeongdam divine pedestal lotus wand."

Ling Fei stepped his feet slowly to approach the female figure named Asahi. As soon as Ling Fei was about to grab her clothes, Asahi immediately took two steps back and away from him.

"You want to find out about me, don't you? You want to read my past, right?"

Ling Fei smiled widely. The lines of his smile formed a hint of something suspicious, from the figure of Asahi who was quite legendary in the Yeongdam forest.

"You're smart too, Asahi."

Asahi smiled sarcastically and grinned. She folded her arms and looked back at Ling Fei, Lee Gon, and Bai Lu one after another.

"The three Jeonsa goljjagi brothers from the Sacred Waterfall Valley. Magic swordsmen who are searching for the sacred red stone and trying to eliminate Aeshin. Am I right?"

"That's right, we are indeed looking for the sacred red stone. So, why do you ask? Are you trying to find it too?" replied Lee Gon a little defiantly and looked back at Asahi's cold-looking face, with his ruthless face like that cold-blooded killer.

Ling Fei saw Asahi seemed to take something out from under her clothes. As she was about to throw it at him and his two brothers, she immediately looked at Lee Gon and Bai Lu.

"Watch out, he's about to throw a poisoned needle!!!" shouted Ling Fei in warning.

As soon as the poisonous needle was thrown at Lee Gon and Bai Lu, Lee Gon immediately pushed Bai Lu's body and took her flying into a tree. Seeing this, Asahi did not stay silent.

He immediately ran and flew himself towards Lee Gon, intending to attack him again. Seeing this, Bai Lu immediately summoned his Hayeongsan sword, then attacked Asahi who wanted to draw her god's pedestal lotus flower magic staff towards Lee Gon.

The struggle was inevitable. The fierce battle between Bai Lu and Asahi on the tree made Ling Fei and Lee Gon try to help their brother.

However, as the stories of the creatures in the Yeongdam forest say, Asahi is indeed very powerful and very difficult to defeat. Many of his secret weapons are dangerous enough to take the life of anyone who attacks him.

And, one of those weapons was a poison needle. Bai Lu tried to avoid Asahi's attack, but the clever-looking Asahi attacked Bai Lu with her poisonous needle again.

Seeing this, Ling Fei immediately ran towards Bai Lu, then scratched Bai Lu's hand quickly to make his brother's hand return to dripping blood.

He immediately used the blood droplets to his advantage by throwing them at Asahi, who was starting to feel pain and soreness all over his wrists.

"Immortal blood? You want to eliminate me with Han Yuram's immortal blood, Ling Fei!!!" shouted Asahi as she held her wrist that was starting to turn blue, from hitting Han Yuram's immortal blood that was quite unsettling to any opponent who wanted to attack them.

"Is that all you've got, Asahi?" shouted Lee Gon, smiling with satisfaction and looking proud of his brother's great skill.

An annoyed Asahi immediately attacked Lee Gon with his divine lotus flower wand. However, while he was battling with Lee Gon, a black shadow appeared with a roar of wind that formed a stormy scroll to ravage the place where Lee Gon and Asahi were fighting.

"Run!!!" shouted Ling Fei then upon seeing the sudden rumble of the stormy wind.

"What's wrong, Ling Fei?" Bai Lu shouted back and tried to restrain herself from being carried away by the strong winds, causing some plants, trees, and leaves to fly away.

"Gumshin troops are coming to attack us!!! Run and save yourselves!" Ling Fei shouted back.

Upon hearing Ling Fei's order, Lee Gon, Bai Lu, and Asahi began to run away and save themselves from the wind that was getting bigger and bigger, blowing away everything around them.
