18 Irrecoverable Losses

Since Mu Cheng had already sat on it with the air of an expert, he definitely couldn't stand up now, otherwise it would ruin his act; so, all he could do was suffer.

As one would have guessed, some sharp-eyed people had noticed that Mu Cheng was now sweating rivers, and that his ass had even begun to smoke up; thus, it only took a moment before the rest of the crowd also noticed it, and stare at him with weird expressions on their faces.

"This guy is such an idiot; who is he trying to impress... Or is he trying to save face? The fight hasn't even begun, and he's already tis unreliable." A maiden softly ridiculed.

In the distance, two veiled maidens from Min Hong's last duel were also staring at the spectacle occurring on the martial arena, indifferently.

"To be candid, this guy's just a phony," The maiden looking to withdraw from a marriage agreement commented with a shake of her head.

"Sister Chu Yao, we've already been here for several days. When do you plan on withdrawing from the marriage agreement?" The maiden's friend inquired, teasingly.

Chu Yao elegantly creased her brows and before awkwardly responding; "Look, he's already in a very difficult predicament; if I were to bring up such a topic at this time, wouldn't that portray me to be a cruel lady? Furthermore, I want to do this is the best way possible; to avoid any sort of enmity."

"But delaying this matter isn't a solution also. Moreover, master has already sent us several summons; If we don't return to the mountain soon, then we might stand to be punished.

Furthermore, with your level of talent, you'll most definitely reach Dan Formation Stage in the future and stand a chance to touch upon Natural Daos; by then the two of you will be in completely different worlds, there's no way for you to work it out." The friend painfully sighed.

"But I still feel that doing it in such a manner is still extremely unfair to him… sigh, let's just watch how he performs today; today might be the last time we ever see him again." Chu Yao lightly shook her head; hesitation was already blooming on her beautiful gaze, and it was leaving her distressed.

Whilst she was trying to reaffirm herself, a commotion suddenly began to appear amongst the distant crowd.

Looking up ahead, both maidens saw a handsome young boy sporting black robes, sleek eyebrows and a bright eyes walking toward the martial arena with a subtly finessed swagger dipping from his gait.

As he walked over, he seemed to shift the momentum of the atmosphere; radiating a mysterious aura that gave the crowd a feeling of staring down an extremely old well with an abyssal depth.

He was like a container that had been taking back to the factory for massive upgrade. Almost as if he had been excavated, broken down, then reassembled into the best version of himself he could ever be.

Even Chu Yao and her friend couldn't help but feel some fluttering in their hearts when they saw him.

Compared to the Min Hong they saw a few days ago who seemed like a weak vessel filled with trash; the one walking up to the stage at the moment, seemed like the most perfect of vessels that had yet to fill itself up.

The differences were like heaven and earth, and the aura currently swiveling around his bearings seemed to affirm and evoke this truth.

One person who was oblivious to the fact though, was Mu Cheng who had been enduring the bursts of scorching pain that had been burning through his ass for the last 55 minutes.

Shooting up to his feet, he instantly put the blame on Min Hong, as his anger soared into the heavens.

"Min Hong, come up and die!" He roared in utter vexation.

Min Hong however, didn't even deign to spare him a single glance, and instead scanned the entire crowd, looking for someone particularly important.

Upon seeing Long Feng, the latter gave him an affirmatory nod. Surprisingly however, Fatty Yu and the others also seemed to have tagged along. Since they had missed out on his last battle, they felt even more compelled to come cheer him on.

Seeing this, Min Hong couldn't help but smile and give them a nod of approval. Now that everything's in place, he turned to the arena, where a super tanned Mu Cheng was waiting for him. Then rather than making a grand entrance, he simply strolled up the stage.

For a brief moment, the spectators who had bet on Min Hong's victory couldn't help but feel their stomachs sink; compared to the way Mu Cheng had reassured his supporters with a grand entry, it was already almost certain that they were going to suffer a loss this time.

"Min Hong!" Seeing his opponent nonchalantly stroll up the stage, Mu Cheng couldn't help but yell in fury to hype himself up.

"Did someone spank you with a burning pan?" Min Hong casually remarked, causing his opponents' scorched butt to itchy slightly

The truth is, as someone who had been so excited to the extent of having a sleepless night; there was absolutely no way he wouldn't arrive before his opponent.

The only thing was that, he had chosen to find a shaded spot that was out of sight to relaxed whilst he waited; thus, there was no way he could have missed everything that had transpired in the last two hours.

"It is now 12:30; both parties must sign the life and death contract." The old man in charge of the arena bellowed as he handed the duo a document which Mi Hong signed with nonchalance.

According to the document; this time, none of them would be able to concede mid-battle, and the loser's life would be at the total mercy of the victor.

Mu Cheng also signed his part with a confident grin; then looking at Min Hong with a sinister grin he growled coldly; "You little bastard, today I will return all the humiliation you gave me, a thousand fold!"

Since the life and death contract had been signed, the old man suddenly left the stage; after all, in this kind of battle, there was no need to have a referee oversee anything.

The current martial arena had now become the stage upon which the world would watch the life of another young bud get nipped in the mud.

Min Hong said nothing in retort; instead, he simply stood there, and took a deep breath as memories of all the times Mu Cheng had included his mother when insulting him surfaced within his mind…

Upon recalling this memories, Min Hong felt his rage begin to bubble like lava; however, he was not done yet. He suddenly began to replay the memories in loops, and in just a minute, Min Hong's rage was already catastrophically hot, while his killing intent was giving off an apocalyptic chill.

"Go to hell you son of a bitch!"

Mu Cheng sneered, and with a loud bellow, the Vital Qi within his body suddenly began to thrum as the crowd suddenly sensed a shift in the air.

4 Star Skin Refining Stage!

Apparently, Mu Cheng had managed to breakthrough just the night before, and that was the reason why he was so hyped up when he arrived an hour before the stipulated time.

Seeing this, the onlooking crowd burst into cheers; the level of assurance surrounding their bet has just surged up another level.

Last time, Mu Cheng had been extremely unlucky; he hadn't made any preparations to protect his body, and Min Hong had used one quick attack to beat him. But this time, asides his adequate preparation, he doesn't seem to be taking anything for granted.

Even if Mu Cheng did leave an opening mid-battle, they refused to believe that Min Hong could get past his bodily defenses and inflict any sort of damage.

Upon setting up his defenses, a sinister smile appeared on Mu Cheng's face as he suddenly charged towards Min Hong with both hands shaped into claws aimed directly towards the latter's shoulders.

Both of Mu Cheng's hands were reinforced with overbearing Vital Qi, and as such, they were no different from beast talons. If ordinary people were to be hit by such claws, their shoulders blades would instantly shatter.

"Good! Mu Sheng, hold nofin back and criffle that son of a bish!" A loud bellow erupted from the stands below the arena.

Upon closer look, the person in question happened to be the fellow Min Hong had sent skidding across the martial skill depository of the Tribe Library, Meng Hao.

Apparently, Meng Hao had been attended to by a physician who told him he might not be able to grit his teeth ever again.

Bone-growing medicinal pills were very scarce and extremely expensive, and the fact that he had lost the set of teeth that were most difficult to regrow, it was set in stone that he would have to make do with his current dental formation for the foreseeable future.

Ever since, Meng Hao had been festering a full blown hatred towards Min Hong. So, when he realized Mu Cheng had increased his strength and was about to assault Min Hong, he couldn't help but put in a few words of encouragement.

Long Feng, Fatty Yu, and the rest of Min Hong's group, however, all became extremely anxious. From the very start, Min Hong had not revealed any trace of cultivation whatsoever, causing their hearts to momentarily get stuck in their throats.

Min Hong on the other hand, simply stared at the charging Mu Chen before revealing a soul chilling smile.

Then with a single stride, his entire body suddenly blurred as he charged towards Mu Cheng like a vengeful wraith.

Boom!

An explosion reverberated across the arena, stunning every single one of the onlooking spectators.

Despite planting their attention on the battle from the start, they had all failed to notice how Min Hong had traversed the distance between him and Mu Cheng. It was almost as if they were seeing a shadow demon instead of Min Hong.

One time, he was at the edge of the stage, and just as they blinked, he had blurred from his position and suddenly appeared in front of Mu Cheng.

Of course, this was because Min Hong overlapped the Battle God Buff with his bodily strength and then used the power surge to fuel the Chaotic Steps.

This technique increased his speed to the max, especially in close range, and the explosiveness was something that was impossible to guard against.

Mu Cheng's claws ended up hitting the thin air while Min Hong's tyrannically amped up foot viciously made contact with his groin once again.

Bam!

A ferocious force lifted Mu Cheng into the air, as the resultant momentum from Min Hong's movement sent a slimy little ball flying out of Mu Cheng's trousers, and straight into the crowd.

Meng Hao who was still ranting below the stage was unable to react quick enough as he saw a shadow slip straight into his mouth.

By the time his reflex contracted his throat, the slippery thing had already slipped past the roadblock and slid down his stomach, bringing with it a grotesque rotten egg scent.

"Urgh!"

Meng Hao desperately plunged his fingers into his throat as he began digging away. Few minutes later, he finally managed to throw up his entire stomach content, and with it, the foul smelling scrotum.

Upon seeing this, Shen Li and the rest of the grow suddenly began to retch violently as they scampered away from Meng Hao as swiftly as they could.

However, before they could even recover from the nightmare, Mu Cheng's miserable shriek suddenly screeched across the entire arena, piercing the ears of the spectators who couldn't help cover their ears as they looked back to the stage.

However, after cross referencing what they had just seen with what they had just heard, their brains finally processed the horrific scene that just played out, and in that moment, they all felt their souls shudder violently.
