26 Friendships, Bonds & Brotherhood

Min Hong could clearly hear the faint vibrations; however, it wasn't audible to his surroundings.

Lastly, his complexion now hid a yellowish bronze tinge beneath the metallic sheen, giving him the appearance of a perfectly healthy and fit mortal.

"But right now this is just a sign of making adequate preparations. According to the Jade Primal Dragon Body, each stage of the body tempering realm requires 'nine different refinement or tempering process' to become perfect.

My current body has only just reached the peak of its mortal capabilities, so, whilst to the outside world, I have yet to even step onto the path of cultivation, I at least wield the strength of a Peak Skin Refining expert."

Letting out three random punches, the air vibrated and whined as a wave of power rippled out of his fist before slamming into the wall, nearly collapsing the entire wall face. He was able to release such a force without using his Battle God Buff, relying solely on the strength of his physical body.

Min Hong's face couldn't help but beam with joy. Though there were drawbacks, the main one being how slow final routine had taken. However, he didn't dare take anything away from the prowess of the Jade Primal Dragon Body; it was simply absolutely amazing!

"Hehe, if I can continue like this, soon enough, I'll definitely be able to blaze through a number of the candidates on the list of those groveling and salivating after my fiancée soon." Min Hong muttered to himself with a chuckle.

Thinking about Mei Lin's face, a burning desire lit up within him.

'Next time I see that damn Senior Ji, I'll beat him so badly he would lose his sense of direction.' He thought to himself with a belly full of fury.

However, in the next moment, all that rage suddenly vanished with a puff, as Min Hong slapped his forehead; he had been to focused on his seclusion, so much that he had forgotten that today was the day to go to the tribe library!

Realizing that the sun had almost risen beyond the horizon; Min Hong swiftly washed up himself, put on a fresh set of clothes, sprinkled a bit of perfume on himself, before dashing towards the tribe library.

All through the entire journey, Min Hong had a light smile plastered on his face. He had finally realized that despite being unable to store Qi yet, his body could still redirect them before they were converted into Vital Qi.

Now when he extracted herb essences in the future, he wouldn't have to worry about a depleted Soul Qi reserve or exhaustion anymore. Though, he still wasn't sure or totally confident in refining pills yet, his insecurities had at least greatly diminished.

Last time he had fought with Mu Cheng, Min Hong had used Battle God Buff and had found it to be extremely powerful. He had defeated his opponent in a single blow. However, that one blow had consumed about half of his Soul Qi; if Mu Cheng had managed to survive that blow and one more, then it would have been him suffering a miserable fate.

Now however, he wouldn't have to worry about that anymore.

Sensing how his body was still subtly absorbing Qi and converting them into Vital Qi, and the fact that he was now aware that the Battle God Buff also worked directly with Qi, he estimated that he could throw such a punch a dozen times.

Furthermore, if he was to simultaneously use both the redirected QI and Soul Qi with the Battle God Buff; though the number would reduce to three, there was absolutely no one within the Skin Refining Realm that could stand a chance in front of that fist.

The thought of testing that new fist on one of his bullies filled him with endless anticipation. Compared to his life a month ago, this was the difference between heaven and earth.

The greatest impact, however, was that with the increase in his attack output, his bodily defenses and movement speed had also increased drastically. Though he had yet to test the '[Battle God's Fury] and [Chaotic Flash] as he had named them, it was definitely enough to intimidate his enemies.

In the midst of his self-celebration, he arrived at the Tribe Library. Calming himself and putting on his best behavior, he walked through its gates and hurried over to the literature hall. Upon entering, the originally noisy literature hall became completely silent.

Mu Cheng's death was something many people had trouble accepting. All the heirs had personally gone and witnessed Min Hong's single domineering fist. The heirs that had originally ridiculed him were now sweating bullets beneath his gaze.

"Haha, brother Hong!"

Fatty Yu and the others laughed as they hastily crowded around him.

"Brother Hong, you're becoming more and more handsome."

"Brother Hong, please take my seat."

"Brother Hong, have some tea."

"Brother Hong, let me give you a back massage."

Min Hong couldn't help but burst out in a peal of laughter, as he chided:

"No need for all this nonsense. But if you can get me some food, that would be good; I still haven't eaten any breakfast."

Min Hong took the seat prepared for him; ever since his battle with Mu Cheng, most of the heirs had steered clear of the corner where they sat the last time they were here.

Fatty Yu had already brought over the refreshments, and all of them completely fixed their gazes onto Min Hong. There was just something or some things totally different about him today; it was a stark contrast to the one they had met with the last time they were together.

Min Hong however, was absolutely famished, since the last time they had gotten together at the tea house, he had basically only drank Qi Recovery Potions, to the point that he would basically retch at the sight.

He quickly devoured the refreshments, and had just readjusted himself when Long Fend arrived and waved at their group.

Upon settling down, Min Hong handed Long Feng a jade bottle.

"Take this. In just a short time, you'll become our generation's first Blood Condensing expert."

Min Hong's voice wasn't very loud, but Fatty Yu and the others clearly heard it; and they were utterly stunned speechless.

Long Feng was also shocked, and thus, hastily opened the jade bottle. An extremely dense herbal fragrance wafted out the instant he opened it. Within the bottle was a blue milky liquid that concealed a tyrannically unbridled energy.

"What is this?"

Min Hong simply smiled as he casually replied:

"Blood Purifying Potion."

Others might not know what a Blood Purifying Potion was, but the 8 Star Skin Refining Long Feng knew. To 9 Star Skin Refining experts, the Blood Purifying Pill was an absolute treasure that they all dreamed of obtaining…

It had a great deal of energy that could allow someone at the peak of Skin Refinement swiftly break into the Blood Condensing realm, and could even help them progress a few stars in.

It was extremely difficult to refine. The failure rate was extremely high, especially at the most crucial pill condensation phase. It was a nightmare to refine for most alchemists. A simple Blood Purifying Pill would be worth more than a million gold coins, and there were basically none on the market.

A million gold was something Long Feng might never be able to obtain, and despite it being in liquid form, Long Feng thought Min Hong had simply crushed one and liquefied it. Though he had no idea if such thing was even possible or how Min Hong had done it, it was still an incredible feat.

"Min Hong, isn't this a bit too much…"

"Don't worry about it. Since I've given it to you, take it. I didn't hesitate to take what's yours, so don't get all sentimental on me now." Min Hong added as he dismissively waved his hand.

Long Feng nodded. At this point, there was nothing more to say. Pushing down his strong emotions, he promised:

"Fine, I'll consume it as soon as I reach the 9 Star Skin Refinement Stage."

"There's no need to wait. Can't you feel the energy stored within? You can take it as soon as you get home. It should swiftly catapult you out of the Skin Refinement Realm."

It was only after Min Hong said this, that Long Feng paid attention to the content of the bottle. He almost shouted in surprise; this was a middle grade potion! This meant the value of the Blood Purifying Pill Min Hong used had even multiplied several times.

"Hurry up and take it. Amongst us brothers, there's no need to say useless things," Min Hong casually added. He was simply in a very good mood today.

Long Feng's eyes turned red as he took a swig from the jade bottle. Compared to the potion, Min Hong's friendship meant far more to him, and since he had told him to drink it, then he would surely do so.

"Brother Hong!"

"Brother Hong!"

Fatty Yu and the others might not know what the Blood Purifying Potion was, but they naturally knew that medicinal pills were treasures. Now, they were simply staring at Min Hong with want, need and blazing desire spilling from their eyes.

Their gaze and urgent shouts caused goosebumps to sprout all over Min Hong. Instantly, he swiftly stopped and reassured them:

"Don't worry, I've already said that I'll handle your problems."

The real reason why these people were unable to cultivate was due to different types and levels of deficiency in their Spirit Roots. It was due to this that they were unable to sense qi.

Others might have no solution, but who was Min Hong? He had the fusion of a Shrine Protector's memories; a figure who-based on Min Hong's estimations was at least Alchemy Saint level! If he couldn't handle something as simple as this, then he would probably kill himself with a blob of tofu.

"Each person take a bottle. Take five drops a day. No strong foods, no alcohol, and no sex. You'll see the effect in seven days and should be able to sense qi within a week. As for how long it'll take you all to enter the Skin Refinement Stage, that'll be up to how hard you work."

Min Hong instructed whilst handing each and everyone of them a bottle of severely diluted Phoenix Rebirth Potion. Though it was the same potion he had used, asides from the fact that it was severely diluted, the efficacy and energy within them would mostly just revitalize their Spirit Roots.

as for the Skin Refinement Stage, that would be up to their talents and hard work. Furthermore, even if someone else was to lay hold of the potion, they wouldn't be able to benefit from it, except if they were also having similar problems.

Moreover, from the potion quality, it would at least take an Alchemy King to spot all the herbs used in its creation; and even if they did, they would realize that not only is it useless to them, but that the herbs used was also too low for what someone of their status should be working with.

As for his friends, it shouldn't be too difficult for them to enter the Skin Refinement Stage; however, as for how many stars they could squeeze out of it, that would totally depend on their fates.

To Fatty Yu and the others however, this fact alone was something of unimaginable value. They all stared hungrily at the bottles, wanting to take a swig on the spot.

"Brother Hong, if this really can let us cultivate, wouldn't that bring trouble to you?" Fatty Yu, though round, didn't have tofu for brains, and he easily spotted a potential problem.

If this creation of Min Hong's could really help them who were considered trash, it might have a negative impact on him, if some unscrupulous people were to notice.

Fatty Yu's intention was to ask whether they should keep the matter top secret, but Min Hong simply chuckled in amusement:

"No need to worry. These were all made by grandmaster Sun Yi. If they want to, they can go find him in the alchemist association tower."

"Grandmaster Sun Yi?!"

All of them were shocked to stupor and were about to ask whether he was joking when steps echoed from behind.

Turning their heads, several of them instantly began to panic.
