Xavier could hear Bobby's footsteps catching up, and at quite the pace.

"Why won't this thing work!!!"

Boom! Boom! BOOM!

Suddenly Xavier remembered what the system had said to him. He had to think about it! Not say it! "Dash!!!!" Xavier thought as hard as he could, praying that it would work. "Dash! Dash! Dash!!"

Shhhhhwing!

BOOM! Boom! Boom. boom.

Xavier couldn't believe his eyes! He was running so fast! He looked behind him to see Bobby getting further and further away. Starting to look more and more out of breath with every pace. Ha ha! He had done it! Those stupid orcs had nothing on him! Just as this thought pasted his mind however, Xavier felt himself slow down. No, no, no! 10 seconds couldn't have been up already! He had only just started to get away! He had to think fast! Xavier looked around to see any possible hiding spots. But there were none. How was he meant to avoid an orc that was bigger than a rhino! Suddenly he looked up. The trees! Surely a big orc with rippling muscles couldn't follow him up here. Right?

"Only one way to find out!"

Xavier quickly grabbed the nearest tree branch and started to climb. He looked around and saw that Bobby was currently out of site. Could this mean that he didn't see him climb? Xavier pondered but continued climbing.

boom. Boom. Boom!

Bobbys footsteps were getting louder by the second. Any minute now he would appear below Xavier, and he needed to be hidden before that happened. He looked around again, this time looking for things to hide himself from anything peering from below.

Boom! Boom! BOOM!

"Damn!" Xavier cursed under his breath for what seemed like the umpteenth time today. He didn't have time to cover himself, so a thick branch will have to do. Xavier didn't have much faith in the branch but, standing 10 metres up in the trees did have its advantages.

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

Bobby was now crashing through the trees heading right for Xavier. Closer and closer. Nearer and nearer.

BOOM!! BOOM!! BOOM!!

Xavier quickly breathed in and held his breath, trying his hardest to conceal his presence. Not even trusting himself to look down.
