Lord Shaman was the Great Shaman of the Dark Court, second in place only to Dark Lord, and was held in high esteem within the Dark Court.
Everyone considered him the heir of Dark Lord.
However, he had never become complacent. He was keenly aware that he had slowly but surely arrived at his current position. Even if he had conspired to assassinate his big brother in the past, Dark Lord had not punished him harshly despite being furious.
After killing his big brother, he had become the first in line behind Dark Lord.
He knew Dark Lord's ambitions and held him in high regard as his master. Dark Lord desired to see darkness encapsulate the land and fall on the entire world. He wanted every corner of the world to be living in darkness, without rules, and without order.
Therefore, the Dark Court itself was also anarchy, not constrained by rules and order. It advocated the survival of the fittest.
