In addition to a sufficient number of energy cards, Chun Ho-Jin also created several one-star space storage cards and a one-star combat-type star card called 'Kunpeng.'

But it was quite apparent to Chun Ho-Jin that these star cards were simply not enough.

You see, this mission required venturing into the outer layer of the Dungeon Gate.

Even though Chun Ho-Jin had never been to the Dungeon Gate before, just from hearsay, he clearly understood its dangers.

Even on the edge of the outer layer, a single mishap could lead to returning with serious injuries.

Having survived in the post-apocalyptic era for ten years, Chun Ho-Jin naturally never overlooked any area that designated as 'highly dangerous.'

Such areas were marked as such for good reason, signifying dangers that everyone should not easily ignore.

Even when deciding to seek survival opportunities in such a perilous area, one must surely make the most thorough preparations.

Now, they have the energy-providing energy cards available and the space storage cards for convenience.

But for the one-star combat-type star card 'Kunpeng,' although Chun Ho-Jin think it was the most accomplished and satisfying star card he created at present, it was fundamentally unsuitable for him.

Even though 'Kunpeng' had decent defensive capabilities and the ability to form a dense energy net around its cardholder to withstand the attacks, this star card still wasn't suitable for Chun Ho-Jin at the moment.

The reason is simple: Chun Ho-Jin's current physique is not at all suited for combat.

Even though Chun Ho-Jin could sense danger quicker than others, his untrained body couldn't keep up with his brain's reactions, which would slowing down the pace of controlling star cards and thus failing to deploy the defense net in time.

In other words, no matter how good the star card is, in Chun Ho-Jin's hands, he might not be able to unleashed its full combat potential.

Of course, the Guides in the Hunter Squads have never been become a professional fighters.

As Han Soo-Yi also mentioned that the small Hunter Squads would take on the responsibility of protecting them when the time came.

However, Chun Ho-Jin still doesn't feeling's reassured.

There's nothing you can trust more than yourself.

Even his most trusted comrades might find themselves unable to consider other people when they facing with the life-threatening situations, let alone those Sentinel Hunters whom he doesn't even know.

Given this, what kind of star card would be suitable for himself now?

Even Chun Ho-Jin himself couldn't deny that he had quite a few shortcomings.

His body lacked muscle strength, his reflexes were not sharp, and he was even a bit sluggish.

There might even be occasions where he would lag behind others, when they want to escape.

Just like the incident that occurred in the Sentinel Healing Center before.

He couldn't leave the room in time, which led him to confronting the frenzy's mental body of that big dumb bear Sentinel.

If he had managed to leave the room at that time, so many subsequent events wouldn't have happened later.
