Chapter 77

"Sky Dragon's Maelstrom Sphere!"

I release the Rasenshuriken and watch it create a dome of destruction. I release a sigh and hold my hand to stop it from shaking. I pushed a lot of energy into that attack, and maintaining the shape was difficult.

The energy inside manages to escape and damages my hand. It's not that bad, and my Senjutsu and Dragon Slayer magic are already healing the damage. I watch the dome last for a few seconds before it disappears.

I can see Yasaka change back into her true form and jump at the green dragon, who is shaking his head. She slams him away and throws him in the air. I jump into the air, kick the air, and arrive above him just in time for him to mock Yasaka.

I punch the air and create a massive torrent of wind that hits him right in the head. I can hear him groan and am ready to release his roar. However, before he can even open his mouth, Yasaka releases a beam of blue fire at him.

I take out my sword and feel something burn on my neck. I activate the Demon Slayer Mark to enchant my attack even further. I take a deep breath and kick the air to push my body forward. When I arrive in front of Zirconis, I thrust my sword forward with fire and lightning around my sword.

Combination Form: Heavenly Lightning Strike

I thrust my sword toward his right eye. I can see some sort of shield appear in front of his eye to try and block my attack. When my sword hits the clear shield, it creates a shockwave, and I try my hardest to push it through.

"RAGH!"

I give more energy to my sword and make the fire and lightning explode from it. I release a gust of wind from my back to help me push the sword, but to my surprise, the shield still holds.

"Bwahahahaha! You cannot pierce my eyes, human! Many have tried, and many have died trying! Now you will die!"

He moves his head and opens his mouth at me. However, I smirk when I see purple magic circles appear around Zirconis' mouth, and suddenly, black chains appear from the magic circle. The chain closes his mouth, and I can see Zirconis cancel his attack so as not to hurt his mouth.

Before he can do anything, nine fluffy tails appear from under him, throwing him to the ground. A large crater appears on the ground from the impact, and I use this chance to do anything to attack. I take a deep breath and use a large chunk of my mana before roaring at the green dragon.

"Sky Dragon's Roar!"

To my surprise, Yasaka also releases a powerful beam of blue fire and uses my wind to create an even more powerful attack. Our two attacks created a massive explosion, but it was not enough. I can see Zirconis still standing, and now he looks angry, even angrier than before.

I widen my eyes when he opens his mouth and releases a powerful beam at me. I quickly dodge to the left, but to my surprise, he moves his head and keeps aiming at me. I kick the air and move around the sky to block the incoming attack.

It stops when Yasaka charges forward and slams Zirconis. However, once she slammed him with her body, the dragon bit her and burned her fur from the remains of his dragon breath. Yasaka roars in pain and uses her claws to open his jaw, but she cannot do that.

I appeared in front of the dragon and thrust my sword forward. This time, I aim at his nostrils and aim for the soft part of his body. I arrive in front of his nostril and swing my downward vertical slash and horizontal slash right after.

Flame appears inside his nostril and dances around his snout, burning anything it touches. My plan is working, and he screams in pain, releasing Yasaka from his bite. I quickly moved away from his nostril and now aim for the eyes once again while he is distracted.

This time, I use more energy behind my attack and use all the divinity from my blessing in this attack. Doujigiri Yasutsuna shakes happily and absorbs all the energy hungrily like someone who has not drunk for a day.

When it is done, my sword shines with blue light as if it is a lightsaber in a katana shape. Dark flame dances around the blade while invisible wind moves at very speed around the sword, ready to cut apart anything.

I kick the air and move forward with a speed that breaks the sound. I appeared in front of his left eye and thrust my sword.

Rainjin's Wrath

When my sword hit its target, the impact created a sound as if a massive lightning hit the ground, and it even punched through the cloud above me, creating a hole in the sky. Slowly but surely, I keep pushing, and my sword punches through the shield protecting his eye.
