Chapter 58

|3rd POV|

A man with black hair and red eyes growls as he slams his fist on the table. Behind him are five pairs of black wings. He is Kokabiel, one of the Cadres of Grigori and one of the veterans who fought in the Great War in the past.

He is one of the people who wants to start the Great War because he is a warmonger who wants to continue to kill others to experience the rush it gives him.

Currently, he is in a meeting with his inner circle members. He looks at the humans and fellow Fallen Angels who willingly work for him. They are the people who want to create a war between the Three Factions.

"This is a disaster! With Azazel snooping around, we cannot do much!"

Kokabiel growls angrily for a few seconds before taking a breath and saying.

"Let's think of a way to fulfill our goal. With Azazel already knowing we are the reason behind the moving of the Former Holy Maiden and the disappearance of the Holy Swords, we get something we did not have before."

"What is it?"

One of the Fallen Angels asks his leader, who smirks from ear to ear.

"We can now move openly. We can now move openly and openly declare war against the other faction."

"However, there is one problem with your plan, Kokabiel."

An old man wearing a priest's outfit interrupts Kokabiel. This man is Valper Galilei, a Former Archbishop of the Church who was excommunicated in the past.

When we kill that woman, three factions will be at war: The Grigori, Devil, and Youkai factions. That woman died in Kuoh, Devil's territory, and the one killing her came from Grigori. Youkai will declare war against us. With war happening, Azazel can only accept me as Grigori needs all help. As for heaven… You did not need to worry. I will make sure you get your revenge, Valper."

Valper nods his head and says.

"I see. That is good."

"Of course! However, I need to ask you about the progress of the sword."

"It is on a steady progress. The only thing we need to do is find someone with a lot of Holy Elements inside their body."

"That will not be a problem. It is a shame that Freed Sellzen died because of the Youkai faction, but we did not need him for our plan. We only need the swords to declare war against Heaven."

Valper nods his head in satisfaction. His only goal is to make sure Heaven suffers when they dare to excommunicate him.

"So, when will we start?"

"How about now?"

Kokabiel laughs and looks at his soldiers and says.

"Go and gather the others! We must do it fast before Azazel arrives and destroys our plan."

One of the fallen angels nods his head and says.

"What about them? Will we accept their help?"

Kokabiel's face changes into an ugly frown, and says,

"Don't you dare mention them to me. We will not accept help from the devil or any of their allies! I don't want to accept the help from the Khaos Brigade even though they have the backing of that dragon."

"Right. I understand."

"Good. Gather the others. We will attack that woman in an hour.

"Sky Dragon's roar!"

I release a torrent of wind from my mouth and blast Yasaka away from me. However, instead of getting injured, she laughs and releases a hundred foxes made of fire.

"Come on, Ryan! Dance for me! Dance of the Fire Fox!"

A hundred foxes run around me, creating a fire that burns my skin. I dodge to the left and to the right, but they keep coming. Seeing no other choices, I take a deep breath and twist my body.

"Sky Dragon's brilliance scale!"

This is a spell of my creation. I create a dome around me that repels any attack that comes at me. Be it a physical attack or even a magical attack, it will be repelled. However, there is one weakness. It can only repel something that is weaker. A stronger and more concentrated attack will destroy this barrier.

It is a perfect shield for an AOE attack and weak against a powerful piercing attack.

I can see explosion after explosion happening outside my barrier. I wait for a second to let all the explosions stop and drop the barrier. However, I quickly raised my hand to block an incoming attack.

My body hit the wall behind me, and I could see Yasaka smirking at me.

"Your Senjutsu is something else, Ryan. However, it will not be enough if you only use them as a defensive ability."

"You are right."

Take a deep breath, gather a large amount of Natural Energy in the air, and combine it with my chakra. The Senjutsu I get from the Naruto world is incomplete. To truly enter Sage Mode, I need to blend my chakra with the Natural Energy.

After a few seconds, I can feel my body getting stronger, even stronger than when I entered Sage Mode without chakra. I can see the world from a different perspective when I open my eyes. It is like seeing a new world.

I can see the energy around Yasaka and know that it is her chakra and Natural Energy. I look at my hand and see a flame-like energy around me. I smile a little and get an idea for a new fighting method.

I look at Yasaka and say.

"Here I come, Yasaka."

"Come!"

I dash forward and appear in front of her in the blink of an eye, then throw my fist at her head. She easily dodged my attack, but sadly, her body got hit by an invisible attack. She gets thrown away and lands on the ground.

She looked at me in surprise, but I did not give her a break. I appear in front of her and throw a flurry of punches toward her. My attack worked… for only a minute. After one minute, Yasaka had already blocked my attack and even made a counterattack.

I block a powerful blow and land on the ground. She smirks at me and says,

"That is something new. You use your Natural Energy as an extra limb that attacks your opponent when your first attack misses. Not only is it invisible, but it is also powerful. If not for my own Senjutsu, I cannot sense that attack."

"Thank you."

"Then, let me borrow it."

She dashes forward, and I prepare to receive a blow, but we feel something attacking the mansion before her attack connects. We look at each other and nod. The two of us ran out of the mansion, and we could see the Karasu Tengu busy making sure the barrier was intact from an attack.

We can see a group of Fallen Angels floating in the air, releasing a barrage of Holy Light at the barrier around the mansion.

The one leading this group is someone I know.

"Kokabiel!"

Yasaka shouts in anger.

"Why are you attacking us?!"

"Hahahahaha! This is nothing but business, woman. War business."
