Prologue

What year was it again? Ah yes, it was 2049. Humanity was at its peak civilization. Technology is advancing rapidly. The world came together to solve world wide issues. However, even after so many technological advances, humanity still yearn to conquer the final frontier, space.

That was when they came. A being that we could never imagine. A spacefaring civilization just came knocking our door. We panicked, this was the first contact we always imagined. Yet, we were not ready.

They were big... big, big, big. Several of our size. Yet, they somehow resemble us, or rather we resemble them. We dont know what they called themselve or rather our way of communicating were primitive and still so. Then we decided to call them "The Celest", as their majestic was not comparable. And they claimed that they created us, uplifted us and gifted us with intellegent and reason. "And let us create humanity in our image" was more literal than everyone can imagine. We were not able to communicate with them, but they were able to communicate with us. It was strange way of communication. It was like our brain in connected to each other. It was like our mind is one, one giant mind.

But Celest did not come to us just to saw how their creation was doing, but rather to bring us dire news. The galaxy is in danger. Another being is literally swallowing the whole galaxy. While we still dont know what they are really called, we came to agreement to call them "The Scourge". The Celest had been at war with this being for who knows how long. But we know a thing that their war will not end soon. They claimed that The Scourge is an intergalactic invader determine to purge our galaxy and they fought them as The Guardian. To this day we called this war as "The War in Heaven" as it looks to us as the god himself is leading the war againts the demons invading the heaven itself.

That was when they struck a bargain with us. The Celest will help the human to become what we have always imagined, a spacefaring civilization. They will provide us with knowledge and resources as we need. They will make us prosperous, technologically advance, and far more important, spacefaring . But in return, The Celest will make us 4 giant battleship or rather mothership to us. 2 of these will be in almost direct control by The Celest and will aid them in their war. The other 2 will be given to us and can be used freely.

It was a deal too good to refuse but also too good to be true. Humanity, was young and stupid and still is. We were at war with each other for so long that we never thought much about how this war will affect us. Without many consideration we accepted it. Before we know, we plunge our species to an endless war that might not end even after our whole species died. Thus we humanity are on our "Last Testament", in the covenant we made with the gods, we the humanity, at war!
